  • I'd also like to mention, if you take talc powder//baby powder//gold bond, rub it all over your exposed skin, it fills your pores so the fiberglass can't get in them to make you itchy

  • This is basically the same process as I did molding mine. I will say though, a better way to do it is to cover the pack in clay, make your support jacket with a spout in the dividing wall, remove the clay, secure the jacket over the pack and pour the silicone thru the spout. the problem with the fiberglass resin I had was that the heat from curing cooked my mold and shrank it a bit.

  • @sm870621345 This was a quick and dirty jacket mold what your describing is called an umbrella mold. We might show that method of molding in another video one day. Thanks for the tips.

  • @BlueRealmStud Oh yeah I know. I hope I don't come off as saying you did anything wrong, just that there's other options for molding these things. Whatever works for you guys, just in my case, it shrank my mold so I wanted people to be aware.
