Why not a game called Metroid : Online with a LOT of controll configuration, like classic conrtoller, wii controller + nuckshot, gamecube controller, zappper, and more for the wii, and a remake of metroid prime with online multiplayer for the 360? unless nintendo dosent aprove that :P

@99042111 Perfect Dark was remade for 360 JUST BECAUSE Rare(the company that made Perfect Dark) is since 2002, property of microsoft, and most rights of the game were property of rare. This means that now activision can do whatever it wants with goldeneye and release it for whatever console it wants, but that's not going to happen with metroid.

Let me put it this way: Metroid is awesome, Halo is awesome. You might even go as far as to say that Halo has a better storyline. Metroid is what I prefer, but if anything ever drives me away from Metroid, it'll be people slamming Halo just because they like Metroid better. Just give it up and play the game.

I agree Halo has a more life based story in that Halo is the story of Humanities Survival as one along with finding the truth behind their to be extiction. Metroid is also my fave from Nintendo but it centers on the usual hero story were they gain powers to defeat an enemy far greater on their own and the whole game series is only about samus's journey, why not a prequel on how the space pirates came or when samus was in the Gal. Fed.

my only complains about this game are the controls. The game is good and all, have awesome graphics (we are talking about NDS, so for this portable, the graphics were pretty good), but after 2-3 hours of gameplal I beginned to feel pain at my hands, so I needed to stop. maybe if the have let the controls like the original series ( + pad - move around, X - morph ball Y - missiles B- fire A-Jump L- lock at enemy R- lock aim And touch screen - visors'n beans) the controls would be better...

MP:H Was pretty much what everyone hoped for. Metroid Prime, but portable. Sure it had it's design flaws and maybe a bit of clunky controls, but by god it was great. And noone can ever change that.

Don't get me wrong im a much bigger metroid fan but halo has a great story. Nintendo makes great games sure, but there first offense is not story, look at mario WTF. Zelda, i love zelda, but seriously; saving the princess for the 12th time in a row isn't really worth it, is it? Metroid has a pretty good story.

Metriod does indeed have a good story, but that doesn't mean other games don't. Do you hate Halo for being overrated and that's the only reason you haven't tried it? I spent some of my better years wasted over Halo 1's multiplayer, let alone drooling over its magnificent storyline. I wouldn't hate either series.

@IngenFiles Eh...while I see your point I wouldn't necessarily say that ALL Nintendo titles have strong storylines. Even when you narrow it down to games made only by Nintendo, you still have scenarios such as Super Mario Sunshine...wherein the storyline roughly translates to a plumber acting as clean-up crew for a tourist attraction island.

...and I would let Halo's over-popularity be an excuse to berate it in this regard...the Halo series, while wAAAy over-hyped, does have a solid storyline.

@Nessinian yes tell the truth. Now if we looked at it a different way you would say nintendo games have always been playable and easy to pick up not mention creative. I can't say that with the xbox 360. The games on there are 98% fps (not including multi console games) plus nintendo has always put a classic feel in there games which i can't get with any other company besides sega. There are a few exceptions with sony though. I think people get confused with what a game should be about though.

@IngenFiles I thought Halo was good. It kinda has its own appeal. I'm not a big online player so I only play the campaign and the campaign is not quite as strong as in Metroid. But there's something to be said for metal and gunpowder over laser beams. Sometimes you just feel like pumping an alien full of lead. Halo is kinda the space opera where metroid is the space odyssey.
