It's a hand-made gift teddy by Minnie mouse, given to Mikey before he set out on a voyage so that Micky wouldn't get lonely . This teddy was in a duffel bag when it was given, so Mickey named it Daffy. Seems like this story is recognized in only Tokyo Disney Sea, I didn't know either.

On october of 2010 Duffy made his US debut at both Disneyland's California Adventure theme park in California, and at Epcot in Florida. while Duffy neither has a tv show or a movie, he is beginning to become popular in america, and he will be making his television debut in the 2010 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade.
