  • hey man is it a auto v6 ?

  • I have a 98.. but know nothing about this stuff. It only has 80k on it too so it would be worth to spend the money on still

  • Are you running stock driveshafts?

  • How do you like the Skyjacker hydros?

  • @yjmoneypit haha yo dude i still havent gotten my lift yet either im getting he rc 4.5 and 33's

  • you know you drive an xj when...you see a incline and say "lets flex it!" sweet xj man what tires are those? BFGs?

  • If you haven't done it yet loose the rear sway bar. It deff helps flex the rear and you really can't feel any diff on the road. Looks like you just disconnected the tops of the front sway bar. I bought some Rough Country double disco's and they are an easy install. For 60 bucks shipping included you can't beat them.

  • Dude, is your sway bar broken?

  • Haha no, I have Disconnecting sway bars links(aka discos). They help the axle articulate!

  • I see it now, disconnects at the top, I've never seen quick discos that disconnect at the top. Mine are on the bottom, I broke the stock ones and it looked like how yours does in the video. Nice XJ, I dig those fog lights.

  • Sweet ride! congrats

  • @slammo10 LOL

  • sweet i have a 91 2 door after having my yj i am looking otn to the rought country 6.5 , and i have a line on a set of axes 8.8 with disc and a detrot in the rear and 30 with crom molly and ox locker only bad part geard for 35s 1000 for both sweet ride

  • Sounds Badass!

  • Estacada?

  • although dana 35's officially suck and i would never run them on my xj.

look it up, dana sent a letter to chrysler telling them not to use the dana 35 cuz they themselves knew it was a weak axle.

every axle i see break is a dana 35.

  • yeah that is why I put in the Dana 44 years ago. Yes I have a dana 35 In THIS video...but I have since repleced it...and IT NEVER broke or anything! I even had it Locked with 33 x 10.50 tires!

  • do you have one front and rear? cuz i have one in the rear of mine and it's a freaking tank but still got the little dana 30 up front. those little 30's with bigger axle shafts inside work great though.

  • Yeah I put the Dana 44 in the rear and left the 30 up front, but I installed Chromoly HD shafts and it seems to hold up fine. I have 35 x 12.50 Mud Kings now. The only problem with the 30 is the weak ball joints and wheel bearings. They aren't meant to handle 35's haha. I just keep it greased all the time!

  • yup that's the way to go. the shafts i have inside my 30 are out of a newer rubicon dana 30 and never had a problem with them. but would love to swap for a front 44 someday that would be sweet

  • wow I never knew you could use the newer wrangler axle shafts!! Is the Passenger side just 1 long shaft? there is NO disconnect like our axles right?

  • ya its a mod that jeep really never wanted you to know about lol. just find a wrangler or rubicon front dana 30 and pop em right in. ya the passenger is just one longer shaft instead of the two shorter. you still have disconnects but you don't have the shifter hooked up to the axle anymore. there's a special plate you can buy or fabricate that covers the hole.

  • Damn now I wish I didnt waste the money on chromoly shafts. what year wrangler are you talking?? the NEW ones? like 00-09 or so?

  • the 00-05 i believe. I got lucky with mine cuz a customer of ours wanted a dana 44 front in his TJ and paid us by giving us the dana 30 so we put the shafts into my dana 30. it's alot stronger than alot of people think.

dude love your eagle too. freakin sweet.

  • Wow thats good Info!

Thanks about the Eagle. Thats what I work on in the summer...and the Jeep is more of a winter/ fall thing!

  • no problem man, anything to help out a fellow xj driver.

ya i have a justy subaru i want to start tinkering with for summer driving just haven't had the time.

  • nice jeep. Im so tired of seeing lifted independent suspensions. you should definitely make it a crawler.

  • That is the safest thing I have ever seen.

  • i love city wheeling i used tear up denver when it would snow with my xj and a 3" lift + swamper thornbirds

  • in my opinion the xj is 1 of the best off road machines. coils in the front for great articulation and leafs in the back for great traction.

  • i just got my 3" skyjacker on with the coila and leafs and the hydro 7000 shocks its pretty stocky got some rims of a 05 wrangler on that gonna put glossy black micky thompson classics on it and bushwackers

  • thanks! i appreciate it.

what all did you put together for it?

  • whered ya get the lift kit?

i cant seem to find one for a 2 door cherokee...

  • get 1 from jeep4x4center(DOT)com

  • Dude your sway arm connecting rod is broken..

  • haha NO I just disconnected it so the front axle could flex more. Good Lookin out tho.

I had WAY more room to flex....but the wall ran out...My back tire was starting to climb the back of the wall. Which would stop flexxing the jeep...Instead it would just be leaning sideways if BOTH driverside tires were on the wall. So I stoppedat this point, but it has MORE flex in it. I will try to make a New video soon...with the 35x 12.50 tires!

  • gotta love urban crawln'

  • nice flexs!! what do you have done to it?

  • nice jeep always wanted a 2 door

  • cherokees rule

  • looks good

  • urban Crawlin lol

  • Nice flex :)
