The point is, there would be no extra taxes if you pulled some of the 700 military bases from around the world. it cost the US tax payers 1.5 Trillion dollars to maintain them, and that doesn't count the hundreds of billions required for the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

You can't blame Obama for the all the fallout from the Bush administration. He's moving troops to afghanistan because that is where they are needed. They never should have been in Iraq. It will be years before the war is over, and to pull out of those countries before they are stable is wrong. Let's be honest, Obama is the best and only person for the job.

Of course the war was wrong, but you cannot blame Obama for the war, - he is just dealing with the situations he inherited from the previous administration. Pulling out troops is definitely not an option for many many reasons. There is no turning back, you're in it for the long haul.
