  • guy in the hoodie in the front is my hero

  • @Nakedguy01 he be on every episode

  • Why is TBS today so bad. What the fuck. Fred should of never left.

  • @MBlueMunky So true.

  • i love what adam does with the microphone :D

  • no scream near that climaxing part??? wtf!

  • Fred is such AN EFFING BEAST. :(

  • 0:49 looks bad ass

  • @skylinephotographs I imagined really hard and now I'm going to see them with John at the end of the month!

  • This with Fred and Matt Rubano was their best lineup to me.

  • Honestly, i didn't start listening to them until Fred was in, and I always favored fred's voice over Adam's. I think John and Fred made Adam sound better. I also like the old stuff with John, but I'd have to say my favorite season was Fred's. I'm glad Fred left to write his own stuff. The Color Fred and Terrible Things are some great stuff.

  • @rawksdesambas Adam Lazzara has one of the most unique voices in the music industry. I'm going to have to dissagree with you there..

  • it takes swag to do a song in 3/4 and make it sound this good

  • They are one of my favorites because as you may have noticed, they almost cut vocals in half because they both realize they have vocal talent. I think it takes alot of gusto to recognize that as a lead singer and split that with someone who already has their spot in the band as a guitarist. I'm going to cover this with a friend for a performance in a month or two, hope I keep the standard.

  • Not often you see the Guitarist being a better singer than the actual lead vocalist lmao.

  • @GUkraine yeah, i agree. You definatily don't see it here..

  • @GUkraine I see back up being better officially often. But for the style music it's different. Adam's voice is a better fit for the type of music I think.

  • this is a fuckin great live performance

  • thank god fred can sing

  • i've been listening to this song for almost 7 years now and it brings back so many memories. wow.

  • For those with all the comparisons, it's simply a case of looking at their timeline: Nolan helped bring the band to recognition (by accident), Fred brought them into their prime and Fazzi brought them a step backwards.

I can honestly say, without hesitation, that Taking Back Sunday were at their best with Fred; look at the albums and ponder - not to mention their label success. Nolan can't be a better contribution because he hasn't been IN the band long enough, and only produced a debut.

  • @YourEpic nolan joined back, so if this new album is better than new again...

  • this guy was the better back up singer tho

  • damn..

    so fuckn awesome!!

  • On the subject of Fred's voice... it definitely is great. I suggest you all check out his other stuff...

but the thing about it is his oh so smokey voice and ripping screams. It was such great contrast with adam, it was a nice fit.

No need to compare singing ability with the other men to hold that place in the band, it's all good!

  • fred's falseto at the end makes the song.

  • I have to say, I like TAYF as much as the next guy, but I personally think Fred fit in the band perfectly. I still miss him. Louder Now FTW!

  • his hand gestures are hot

  • the was the best line up for tbs it a danm shame ther not together any moor

  • 2:53

    Chills, every time.

  • Fuck Fazzi he was a joke and Im glad hes gone. Although Rabano was a terrible loss. Fred really was an excellent collaberation with Adams voice. Lets see what the reunion of the original TBS band has in store for us with their upcoming CD

  • The girl at 0:44 is equally hilarious and adorable!

  • i'm agree itztricky...tbs without fred it's not the same.....

  • good performance. very solid...

  • i like tbs the best with fred

  • @RApaintball23

    nolan is god.

  • wow god of mic swings! i like it.

  • Adam, god of mic swings.

  • i cant do mic swing very fast!!!!!

  • the break is just scary as hell WOWW

  • 3:03 amazing mic swings. i miss those :"(

  • fred sounded awsome wow

  • *sigh* i could've died happy when i saw this performance on tv. thanks for posting this.

  • wow anyone seen the other vids at this same show? i'd love to have a copy of the whole show somehow!! this was probably one of their best performances live 100% no doubts

  • I like This Song.. Perfect Performance in Live. i much more like fred in TBS than to have his own band. " color it fred "

  • i love fred as a muscition all together

  • too much power is no good!

  • Wow, i wish that they would just leave the camera on adam for that bit

  • What the hell does he start doing with mic at the bridge...haha. Man Adam can really handle that microphone.

  • i want to handle your microphone >;]

  • weiiiiiiiiiiiiiiird...

  • @allisonadam81 AMAZINGGGG!!!!!!! MIC WORK

  • im pretty sure fazzi will leave too because he also has a side project too. Its called Happ Body, Slow Brain.

  • @SylmarProductions: lol you predicted it pal, though he didn't leave, he was left out :/

  • i love and miss fred

  • agreed.

  • I dont care what happened then and whats happening now, they will always be amazing. this video is so good omg

  • i think fazzi actually is a good fit with the band...lets admit it, theyre not who they were, geez tell all your friends was what, like six years ago? idk the exact date, but everyone changes, an their music reflects that, i didnt really like their new cd, but it grew on me ,especially everything must go, very honest and heartfelt, keep rockin tbs

  • @start2finish85 Just be glad Nolan and Cooper are back! :D

  • @start2finish85 john nolan and shaun cooper are back in taking back sunday hows that for change?

  • Crazy how the original line is back together now, right? I guess the fans got what they wanted, but tbs will never be what they were in their prime. In my eyes that was what they had with Fred, but the line from Tell All Your Friends was also amazing. They're growing, but New Again hurt. TBS will forever have a home in my heart. =].

  • @start2finish85 Well said, that song was the only one on that record that really felt like it was truly them. They weren't trying to sound like anything. I think it's kinda lame though how they just "let go" matt and matt after years of being in a band. Those guys were awesome, especially Rubano.

  • You guys are saying that things would be better with fred in the band. Immagine if John nolan was stil in the band

  • hell yeah john nolan was the best part of the band

  • You're definitely in the minority.

  • is don't get it

  • i saw them play live in saratoga. matt fazzi plays well but i feel like it would have been better with fred. but its not bad whatsoever. just not the best =)

  • feel it out for once and feel nothing like everyone else!

  • Sigh, I miss the old Fuse. The random logos, the awesome bands... Now they play more 50 Cent than anything.

At least Stephen Smith has another new show now. Love TBS.

  • fuck yea totally agree with u, i was pissed when they got rid of SURS and URANIUM now its al to 40 mtv bullshit. lol

  • fazzi deffintaly has some BIGG shoes to fill

  • im kind of a newb when it comes to tbs. but over the past month ive taken basically they ever made and listened to it. i like fred more. he actually sings really rough and mixed with some screaming. rather than just screaming, they were both good but i think fred deff kicks ass. sad he had to go and make music that is wayyyy fuckin different sounding than tbs

  • fred was shit. john nolan canes fred

  • Fred was so awesome, I wonder if they're able to do these types of songs with the new guy. Really the guy before Fred was even better. I wish he'd come back...

  • Fred was one of my favourite members! Gutted he left.

  • in the video for this song you barely even see fred sing...

  • Adam captures the crowd so easily,

  • lol i swear fred was like the lead singer

  • this version is 1/2 step down. i think.

  • Why the fock do they not play like this more often!?

  • fock, i giggled:P but yeah i agree, i miss fred ;<

  • good call

  • I miss Fred. =(

  • on this song fred pretty much does lead vocals

  • freds the shit

  • I miss Nolan alot more then Fred...lol

  • samesame

  • i agree with you,

  • i miss fred!!!

    ugh!!!

  • i think there better off without fred. fazzis better. ffreds a jerk

  • Fred brings everything to a band. Great voice and a good guitarist. Too bad the Color Fred isn't as good as him with TBS.

  • I miss Fred too.

  • i miss fred :(

  • Mark is such a great drummer.

I think Taking Back Sunday have one of the best rhythm sections ever.

  • Dido!

  • wtf is with their mics that make them sound so good

its like reverb but its deff not reverb

  • They have a shit load of Delay on their mics.

  • I liked fred, but he was kinda douche-ish to the band. Fazzi is pretty good, but I still think that John Nolan was the best guitarist/vocalist they ever had.

  • i like the new guy, but this video gives me fred nostalgia!

    awesome performance.

  • I hate to be like this but this is the good stuff! serious compare how amazing they are here to the live video of sink into me. Like these lyrics and meaning compared to sink into me...i like sink into me, its just gosh dang it i wish fred didnt leave...hes amazzing compared to the new guy!

  • sooory to break it to you, but fred barely did any of the writing for the band.

  • About that...Fred wrote a lot for the band. He wrote the majority of What's It Feel Like to Be a Ghost. He wrote a lot of lyrics, at least as much as Adam, and quite a few guitar parts. So saying he didn't do much writing is crap.

  • yeah really he only wrote a couple songs...

  • Don't count out Fazzi, he's brought some amazing ideas to TBS.

  • like what? Fred brought a lot more to TBS then Fazzi does!

  • like changing the time signature in Catholic Knee's without you probably even noticing, adding certain lyrical touches, writing guitar parts and and in general bringing a new spirit and moral to the band. I'm not discrediting fred, but give matt a chance before you just write him off. thats a douhe-ish thing to do.

  • @itztricky1000 fazzi was a better singer

  • @rbtl10 maybe but lets lyrically wise, guitar wise and style wise fred was better

  • @itztricky1000 agreed

  • @rbtl10 Oh god yes. As much as I liked Freds guitar style, I couldn't stand his live voice. Still can't when i watch older live footage.

Speaking of guitar, Fazzi did appeal greatly to my pop rock side. He wasn't boring or generic, and you could tell he really tried to use his musical influences while at the same time keeping up with Rubano's and O'Connel's style.

  • @itztricky1000 but it was only one year

  • @itztricky1000 fazzi sucks. GO JOHN NOLAN!

  • @Ozzymandiass john sucks. GO FRED!

  • fucken amazing!!

  • love it! 2:09 \m/

  • on 39000 views? this was probly once of the greatest LIVE performances ive ever seen..better than led zeppelin or kiss or anything this could have been made into a cd and know one woud have know it was live absolutly amazing

  • nolan was best, fred was awesome filling in nolan's shoes, fazzi just aint good enough to fill in fred's shoe.

their new record is okay, i love it. fazzi barely does backup vocals..

  • im not too into their new album, i prefer fred. he's soo sick on back up vocals. i loved how they synced vocals together.

  • agree... New Again is pretty good, but it needs more backup vocals

  • I just saw them live, the backing vocals didn't leave. Its just New Again has more empahsis on Adam. Fazzi is awesome though, he has so much energy.

  • They sound good live!

  • this preformance is sick as hell

  • i miss fred nd u can tell adam does too bc he doesnt perform as well as he used to with such enthusiasm

  • "start with one that works for you....." love that addition to the song.

also, it kind of goes without saying, but this performance kicks ass. major ass.

  • 2:58

  • i love how he plays around with the microfone and the string around his neck!

    i love his hair

    hes so hott!

  • Did I mention that I adore FRED no i'm not mistaken FRED not ADAM

  • I love Fred's Voice

  • i would've killed to be there.

    seriously.

  • you should of killed me then..because i would of died to be there.

  • at 2:36 i mean - it sounds like the breakdown in that song

  • it sounds like a riff in error operator

  • u kno wats werid, i love hardcore hevey metal, but i love emo and pop punk and india (or however u spell it.) werid combo.

  • hands down, best version of this song availible, i want to download this on itunes, i wish i could.

  • omg.....adam is a nutter with that mic :P

  • i think the girl with white shirt is the same of another concert

  • oki lng..astig!!!!!!

  • Tama! Taking Back Sunday rocks!

  • To jlflores06: Fuse started out good with punk and rock/alternative, but imo, in the end unfortunately, every music tv station will eventually find itself ruined with reality shows and shitty rap. Its what the media thinks people want, when in reality rap is pure corruption of the mind and conscience, and truly deteriorates anything it touches, such as the mind of a child who will grow up to degrade woman and leave his respect behind.

  • good point, ''emo'' is also causing a problem to the medai and me personally. labels are making us look stupid.

  • ^ Wow, I've never heard such truth, really.

  • music is the only thing that makes sense now

  • Really well spoken MBlueMunky. Almost all rap has been detrimental to music and society as a whole. Themes in rap usually involve drugs, money, and women as objects. Does anybody ever wonder why rap isnt as popular in places that are culturally and socially ahead of us such as Europe?

  • they are turley over the imaturity. europe is the adult and we are the spoiled obnoxious teenagers.

  • i was here :D

  • jealous

  • kickass performance

  • i am TBS !!!wOohh!!love emo !^^

  • I miss when Fuse used to show good shit like this.

Now all Fuse is is a virtual copyright infringement of MTV.

  • TBS kicks so much ass! I would've gone so fuckin crazy if I was there!

  • i really wanna play TBS songs in gigs but it's such a shame that we're amateurs yet so we can't really play them well, but if we did i'd love to play this song.....

  • being amateur has nothing to do with it, adams not really a professional musician. its just a level of talent.

  • This song isn't really that hard to play, I learned it in like 2 days.

  • i know it aint that hard to play it in terms of bass or guitars but our drummer can't play the beats on the verse, and our vocalist cant sing the high notes, in fact none of us can hahahaaha

  • Awesome just awesome

  • awesome!!! when fuse was still awesome :]

  • not really

  • it took me months to find out how to play that drum part in the beggining!!! it's fuckin hard!

  • How DO you play the drum part at the start??

  • it has something to do with double bass drumming and hitting the side of the snare. hah, i had difficulties learning it at first

  • lol its a single pedal, rebound. and yeah he uses the rims

  • why did Fred have to go? :(((((((((((( gosh it makes me wanna cry

  • I love Fred's voice!!!! they should've let him sing the song! =]

  • why can't tbs ever keep their singers/gutarist first john now fred its a shame

  • and now fred quit and its a guy named matt fazi.

but i saw them with fazzi and hes awesome

  • Sure they got talent. But there bass is half decent and did you forget who writes the songs?
