We have some rather huge problems in this country. Like energy costs. Gasoline. The environmental cartel has effectively shut us down. We really need to start thinking about other alternative energy resources; such as solar, wind and ethenol. Oil companies lobby for these new technologies to stay on the back burner. There is currently an electric car being developed that can run for 200 miles without being recharged. Running it costs about 1/100th the price of running a normal car. Hemp is also a valuable resource that needs to be explored. 1 acre of hemp yeilds as much paper as 3 acres of trees (over a 10 year period)
The technologies for solar power and wind power have been under development and in use for 30 years. Not so sure about ethanol. Pretty costy and impacts the food supply adversely.

We really need to start thinking about other alternative energy resources; such as solar, wind and ethenol. Oil companies lobby for these new technologies to stay on the back burner. There is currently an electric car being developed that can run for 200 miles without being recharged. Running it costs about 1/100th the price of running a normal car. Hemp is also a valuable resource that needs to be explored. 1 acre of hemp yeilds as much paper as 3 acres of trees (over a 10 year period)

It wasn't as big a war as Iraq, but it was pretty big. The media was 100% in favor of it, didn't run many (if any) negative news stories that I can recall, and to this day still supports it. Why? Because it was a Dem project. I'm convinced the majority of media anti-war coverage is due solely to the fact they want Bush OUT and a Dem IN. That simple.
