truly stunning.... really....on the technical side the dynamics of the song were spot on and very controlled.... except for that bit at 3:56.... which I know I don't need to mention..... but really... I know that this song is deceivingly difficult.... you don't realize how challenging it is to do well until you try... and you really did well.... if you want to make an impression I would change that part though... since rest is so perfect it really sticks out... just hold back a little there.

How did u record this? did ur mic go into a mixpanel and then into ur mic jack on ur pc or are the mics directly plugged into the pc?

@wannabeers the mic went into a preamp (MBox) which then connected via USB to my computer running Pro Tools LE 7. It's a bit clunky but it's worth it for the quality of the output. thanks for writing!

i really like it. few thoughts from a recording artist standpoint...

1) pop filter

2) check your levels on both your instruments playing as loud as you'll play during the song before you record

3) take out some of the low end on your vocals, they just sound too bassy.

other than that, it was a great performance none-the-less

@anthemofthedark - Yes, I learn by ear, it is a free way of doing music. I can read music a little, but nowhere near fluently enough to make it a quicker way of learning songs than just listening and figuring it out myself.

The chords for the end are the same as the chords for the chorus. As far as playing it "like it should be" is concerned, just go with the chords and let your fingers wander through the notes for them.

And I've been playing piano for maybe 5 years, collectively. Took lessons for a couple years a LONG time ago, and took it back up more recently. Add the two periods together and you get about 5 years, I think.
