I've flown this way a few times,but its always coming back from LA to Atlanta.The plane usally originates from Sidney,if memory serves. Oh alsmost forgot.It ROCKS.

I have flown in this cabin between LAX to SYD and between JNB to ATL (16hr 40 min on the return leg). Delta has a real winner with this seat. I would fly anywhere in this cabin and it's way cheaper than buying a business class ticket on Emirates. Having flown Emirates A380 and Singapore 747s in business class, I will gladly forego the opulence of the asian and middle eastern carriers since their seats and Delta's seats are equally as comfortable.
this is only because this same flight continues on to sydney which is LONG haul!!! lol had this coming back from mumbai to jfk.....gotta say great seats buy not as good as emirates to dubai from jfk

That plane looks nice and I'd love to go on it, but is a 777 necessary to fly from ATL to LAX? Not a complaint, I was just curious.
I know they need those for the "loooong" journey one (ATL-NRT or DTW-HKG, etc).

This is actually the plane they use to fly to Sydney. Starts in ATL with a stopover in LAX.
