Che’s radicalism was spawned from living in Guatemala during the 1953 overthrow of Jacobo Arbenz by the CIA at the behest of the United Fruit Company (those lovely capitalists who liked to kill brown Central Americans so Americans could have cheap bananas).
Che saw the brutality of U$ Imperialism up close, and gave his life in Bolivia to defeat it. Che fought 3 U.S.-backed dictators during his life (Batista, Mobutu, Barrientos).
History may not ever see such a brave man again. VIVA CHE!!
I used to admire Che until I found out how ruthless he was ..he loved killing people so much that he gave up, actually politely thrown out of Cuba because he didnt know how to do any cuban govt job, except the execution of 1000s of Cubans guilty or not , ...to show how much he loved revolution he went on to revolutions and didnt do his homework .in a revolution you have to have widespread govt dissent ,and not just a dozen men with guns , Che was a fine convincing writer ,but very overated
WATCH THIS ...the CIA was scared shitless of this guy ,CHE was a communist and he wanted to spread the revolution through south America away from "united states Imperialism" in south america so after many tries they had him killed.
4 hours of subtitles with a chance of learning something? What's the problem? Great film and a must for any one with an interest of learning about this important historical figure.
When Del Toro comments that "people over the world know Che...then there are those who know little or nothing.."--those are, of course, Americans. In the U.S., History and Geography are not the strongest points--SAME as poor math, science and reading skills. America has a pathetic LOW ranking in education (No.35 in Math skills, No.41 in Science, in reference to a world poll some months back). Hate to see what ranking it holds in History and Geography--probably BOTTOM OF THE BARREL lol!!
Oh my god 4 hours of reading and listening to foreign people!? Oh wait, I'm not a racist conservative bint that can't read. Scared people might get some REAL information from a film for once, instead of something out of a Marvel comics movie set in Afghanistan?
@thealmightypidgeon Ooooh, I knew one of these fucking comments was going to be up here at the top, but I had no idea it would be this ridiculous. You really think making a four hour movie where you have to 'read and listen to foreign people' is an automatic infallible knowledge stamp of approval or something? It's fucking long and you have to read all the way through, my god, only an awful person would point that out!...
Four hours long, subtitled; How are these downsides? The longer it is, the better it is. If it's in Spanish, it's gives it a realistic feel. Das Boot was subtitled.
how is the down side that is subtitle. what to lazy to read? how stupid would it look if they were all speaking English... any ways that's just me lol
@salsa02 well as we all know americans really r lazy to read and watch a movie at the same time. i have this movie and i must admit that all my years of reading on che, this is the best movie that descrbies everything about the revolution from start to end. hasta la victoria siempre, CHE GUEVARA
Well, to me el Che was aspiring to freedom and equality to everyone, even if his way of doing things weren't everytime the right one, and when I say his way, I mean Fidel's way... .
History lovers to comment on the movie...yes.But seeing commies coming here to talk about their "imperialism, capital, class struggle" and their "enemy of the people" stuff is so annoying...
People who had lived in communist/socialist countries or left from such countries can testify the meaning communism and how "beautiful and nice" it is to the people.Yeah,go to Cuba and wait in line to get food with a State list.Go to China and work like a dog all day.
Most of the US 'critics' hated this movie cause it was too neutral. They wanted it to be an anti-Communism anti-Cuba propaganda movie that satisfied their biased point of view, so when this was not met they started ranting about other aspects of the movie like its length and acting and lighting to make people hate it, because a direct assault against what they really hated about it would have been too obvious.
Want to know what is "too obvious"? Your solid steel head. There are thousands of Cubans who would tell you the truth of che, but the state police would make them disappear.
The Bolivian troops made a worm salad of che and that is too obvious as well.
if you werent a moron, i could discuss with you about USSR (which was criticised by Che either) or North Korea. And i know much more Cuban than you know so dont even try to give me that shit, i went Cuba and see how much they improved about education, health-care etc. (i wrote facts about that improvment) Cuban people adore their revolution.
So i leave you with your stupid ad-hominem comments. I dont have time to waste with lumpens like you.
Yeah...yeah.....and now we have Cuba laying off thousands of workers. Told to fend for themselves. And it will only get worse. Fidel's Cuba has never been anything but a beggar totally dependent on the sugar subsidies from the USSR. I remember when the pay offs from Russia ended. Sugar shock to say the least.
No one escapes to Cuba from Miami you fucking running dog of western imperialistic racist warmongers.
once again i must say please dont group all americans or teachers under one group> i am a mid west son of a history teacher and im also a communist> i love che and what he dreamed of> im not some dumb college kid who weaers a shirt and has no idea about the man> im an american who owns stacks of books and knows che very well> revolution forever until every one is free
Oh, im not racist dude :) Dont get me wrong. I'm nothing to do with American people. What i'm criticising is USA's imperialist politics, their embargo and economic pressures and false propagandas against Cuba.
As for the often repeated "Che shot a 12 year old" (sometimes it's listed as 14 as well) usually found on conservative blog posts, that is "NOT INCLUDED IN ANY RELIABLE BIOGRAPHY", but derives from a Dec 28, 1997 Letter to the Editor at the El Nuevo Herald - written by a Cuban exile who claims to have been a former prisoner and claims to have seen it. (hardly a reliable source).
Anyone who accuse Che about killing innocents are pure liars.
"I have yet to find a single credible source pointing to a case where Che executed an innocent. Those persons executed by Guevara or on his orders were condemned for the usual crimes punishable by death at times of war or in its aftermath: desertion, treason or crimes such as rape, torture or murder."
Che Guevara: A Revolutionary Life by Jon Lee Anderson (An objective investigation about Che)
I wonder if people who accuses Fidel with dictatorship know that, it's against law to builg Fidel's sculptures in Cuba. Cuba's election system is one of the most democractic elections in the world and Fidel got %95 of the votes almost in each one of them. USA's system is much more status quo than Cuba. If Fidel built 5-6 skyscrapers in Havana instead of creating the free health and education system for all Cubans and other poor latin americans, you would call him "democrat". You dumbasses
Accusing Cuba with dictatorship today's total ignorance. Cubans're the most organized people. %95 of them're member of syndicates. They choose their delegates with direct-democracy and those delegates creats councils. It's like nested circles and the origin is head of the state. All delegates have to explain their works once in a 6 months and if public are not satisfied, they can choose another delegate instead. EVEN for Fidel, it's same, but he got at least %95 of the votes in all selections
If you dont call "putting a thief in jail" as dictatorship, you can't call socialism is one either. Minority who exploits whole world and hide in capitalism are the biggest thiefs ever lived. In capitalism, if you steal so much from proletariat, you're a good citizen; in socialism, if you try to steal and exploit labor of workers, you gets your ass kicked. If you call that "dictatorship!" than yeah, we are...
@Atalay Wow you don't give up. It's nice how you don't need facts or anything to advocate an ideology that would change many people's lives. It's cute that you can consider yourself well-rounded in a pro-socialist argument while 1) never having lived under it and 2) apparently considering any objective history about any other communist/socialist nation to be "propaganda." Real cool man.
Like Fidel said "They talk about the failure of socialism but where is the success of capitalism in Africa, Asia and Latin America?"
To call, Cuban revolution as a failure, you need to be really ignorant. I writed with numbers and rates how much Cuba improved after tyranny of imperialism. Just research from "objecktive" sources, ypu will see.
And murders? What about USA's holocaust in Iraq, Vietnam, what about their exploitation all around world? LoL. What'ta ignorant country
@Atalay An interesting thing is you and many other 'socialists' 'communists' are actually passionate about doing good, but you just got it so incredibly backwards. There really is something unique in history regarding the last few hundred years of profit-motivated ingenuity, except to many this seems to be 'exploitation.' Oh, and if you take up the myth that 'true communism has never existed,' I have an interesting article you ought to read denouncing that lie for what it is.
@Atalay On those who say "true communism has never existed"- It remains an elusive unicorn, a reputedly beautiful but mythical beast. Its numerous rumored sightings are as maddeningly evasive as those of the Virgin Mary, Elvis, and UFOs. Western Leftists initially spotted True Communism in the Soviet Union.
@Atalay In other words, P suggests that I should develop an "understanding of history" by ... ignoring history. Rather than judge Communism as it exists, P recommends that I "study Marxism." P is somebody who was arguing, very similarly to you, that those who argue against communism as it exists clearly doesn't know Marx. Which is fine, but as this guy says- you're trying to tell me to acquaint myself with history by ignoring it.
@Atalay To date, Communism has always resulted in repression and murder. In Europe and Asia and Africa and Latin America. In industrial nations and agrarian nations. In nations ethnically homogenous and ethnically diverse. In former monarchies, and former colonies, and former democracies. Whatever the cultural, geographical, and historical preconditions, Communism has been consistently murderous. How many more chances is it entitled to? How many more victims?
IN Cuba; there're free health, education systems which takin awards from all over the world (even from USA, poor students go the Cuba to study medicine). There are no baby-deaths, no crimes in Cuba. %100 of the people know how to write-read. There are no homeless, hungry people in Cuba right now, unemployment rate is around %1. Cuba is the conscience of the world where pregnants finds milk at their doorsteps each morning. They give their bests with their poor economy thanks to USA's embargos
@Tripo1iSamson oh so capitalism did not? At least not in USA but while that, US implanted dictatorships all over latin america which resulted in thousands, if not millions of lifes, most people who were tortured and executed didn't agree with that kind of tyranic government. It happened cause USA were afraid any latin country become another "CUBA". It really happened, students went to the streets to protest and never came back.
And i said that i support more liberterian socialism. I believe, free worker organizations, local managements should have great influence on governments. I support a bottom-up system, a direct democracy and freedom of speech. Thats why i criticise Soviets about Kronstadt. BUT socialism is a revolution process before communism so you have to fight with kontgerilla either. It's a necessity. Like Fidel said "The revolution is a dictatorship of the exploited against the exploiters."
And i'm not saying you are idiot, i'm saying with liberal politics of USA, and propaganda against communism make you blind against condition of world today. Denying that imperialist countries exploit poor ones by using their government (like Batista) for cheaper labor and use that wealth for creating lumpen consumers by their own people, is ignorance even for a capitalist. You're creating false arguments to deny that inequality and exploitation is core of capitalism.
@Atalay ...yet always, the rainbow faded. Instead of a Pot Of Gold, they found only more corpses. "You make such uninformed blanket statements based not on any understanding of history, social relationship or even a study of Marxism. Instead you use your own limited experience with visiting a Stalinist eastern bloc country."
Difference between you and me is, i criticise socialist experiences too, getting lessons from them for a real Marxist and liberterian socialism (I hate Stalin for example). But you dont even see the inequality and injustice are the core of capitalism. You dont even accept the damage of imperialism to the world, how it makes billions of people starving.
If you dont see the damage of imperialism to the world, if you dont see making means of production private property is just slavery in illusion of freedom, if you dont see billions of people who starving, exploited by the system just for a minorities luxury..
There are nothing to discuss with you, it's just normal for your bourgeois ass to not understandin what Che stood for. Cause u dont know the value of equality, freedom and justice
Expecting from u to know smt about communism was stupidity
@Atalay "Expecting from u to know smt about communism was stupidity." I guess I'm an idiot for looking at the starving masses and various immigrants who did everything they could to get out of their communist/socialist/broke/poor nation, and you're a genius for living in a democratic country while advocating a policy that would see you with none of the advantages you have today. So yeah buddy, whatever you say.
When i went Cuba, everyone i spoke was really greatful for revolution of 26 July Movement, they were all hate Batista, imperialist tool of USA. Yeah they got problems like i said before (i give you right about some of your criticising either) but they are really honorable and wise people, they understood why they need equality, trying to pass all the difficulties together ( Organizations of workers, local managements etc.have great influence on government in Cuba btw. )
You still use arguments on ad-hominem expressions. Do you know me? How i live etc.? I explained you supporting socialism is not an obstacle for bein rational. There are no worth of your arguments because of that.
@Atalay Good! Unfortunately most people never read Marx so, most of them don't even know why they criticize or do not like Che or marxism! But i'm glad there are people like u on the net! Most people are just easy going with media and lie major opinions spreaded all over internet
@Atalay exactly, and i'm proud to say i have a big poster of Che above my computer now (next to my poster of Mao). If you know anything about magicians it's that the trick is getting peoples attention in one area while you do something else. Capitialists distract attention form themselves by pointing out what Communists do while they actually do that stuff only 10 times worse.
They can't do that forever though, the youth now is more liberal than ever... it's only a matter of time...
Oh Admiral of the toilet, just how stupid can one person be? Reality rules not matter what you wish. che caused more death and terror than fidel. You can sit unafraid in front of your computer unlike Cubans, even now, must be careful what they say. They might just disappear.
Go live in Cuba if it is so wonderful. And take notice that every year people escape che's paradise for Miami.
BTW if you would try to learn something useful besides that BBC shit, you could see many Latin Americans go Cuban every year to get education, even from USA. So stop that stupid comments about people running away from Cuba :) I will go there for MA either. If you werent a brainwashed jackass you could see the overwhelming majority of Cuba love their revolution cause they know how much they improved after USA minion Batista's tyranny
You must certainly get Darwin Award for self-inflicted stupidity. Take notice that there no masses of anybody dying to escape Hong Kong to china. And how many died escaping Miami to Havana?
You speak in mind-numbing leftist cliche's. Care to take holiday in North Korea?
You are one of the most ignorant person that i have argued about communism. Cause all you know about communism is just propaganda of USA's. Read some Marx, Engels, Luxemburg, Pannekoek, Chomsky, Bookchin, Lenin etc. and learn stuff before use stupid argument. What you understand from "equality" is Communism is not about makin "everbody poor", isnt it? Everybody is poor already idiot. Cause they work for 15 per day for a minority's luxury.

@Atalay Lol you keep saying to read the same diehard revisionist nutjobs and then refer to objective history as propaganda. Get over yourself. I don't care if you consider me ignorant, you seem economically illiterate and completely unaware of how human motivation and economic freedom are responsible for shaping the modern world and most of its improvements.
@Atalay I guess that's why every one of your videos is in English, and every one of your favorited videos are in English, and that's why you've argued nothing but English-written and read statements. Awesome. Believable. Or maybe that's just the fault of the evil exploiters you hate so much about, while using your computer on the internet on youtube.
@Atalay "For some time, Cuba has been experiencing a housing shortage because of the state's failure to keep pace with increasing demand." Is that somehow the fault of America too?
Some ignorant people say "Che killed people :( He was a murderer!" Why dont you talk about Batista's dictatorship? He was minion of imperialism and rule the country, exploiting proleteriats for USA, people were miserable. Learn what Batista did to the pacifist protesters
Che, Fidel, Raul and all members of 26 July movements' dream was a free Cuba. They had no choice but using force. They fought for equality and justice and yeah they killed for that. That was a "revoluition" idiots.
@Atalay I tend to subscribe to the realistic notion that the parts of the world of the world that achieved the most were the ones who offered their people the least economic stifling. Which basically rules out the Soviet Union and other totalitarian states. It's really cool of you to reference an equal US action for every shithead dictator you love the cock of, but it doesn't change the fact that you're sitting back, eating McDonald's, typing on your US-made computer, on the internet, bitching.
And yeah, Cuba was a fucked up place before the revolution. And communism wasn't much better. That's the thing about 'revolutionaries,' you people can always emphasize how great a revolution is, but don't seem to mind things like cultural revolutions or forced labor camps. Conversely, you will bitch about the American prison system constantly. Gets old after hearing it for the 354th time from somebody who's nation is flirting with both radical Islam and leftist dictatorship.
Communism wasnt much better? (Btw communism is different than socialism, read some more Marx) If you get your head out of sand, you can see how much better it is. I went Cuba, and see how people adore their revoluition. Cuba's education and health system is one of the bests. And more importantly for "everyone" not a minority. There are no unemployment, people are not hungry anymore. And if you research their election system, you can see one of the most democratic system.
On the other hand, yeah Cuba still have problems. It's not perfect of course. Embargo and pressure of imperialist countries are two of the main reasons of their economical issues. And i criticise as liberterian socialist some of their actions too. I never looked that kind of conditions like dogmatisms. But please, if you can go Cuba, talk their people. Some people who was burguoise before revolution dont like it as normal :) But if you say there wasnt improvement, it as huge lie
@Atalay As a result of computer ownership bans, computer ownership rates are among the world's lowest. Right to use Internet is granted only to selected people and these selected people are monitored. Connecting to the Internet illegally can lead to a five-year prison sentence. I guess that makes it really hard to talk to any Cubans myself, huh? Those evil Amercans must be embargoing their interweb. Oh wait, that's leftist politics for you, put in practice.
@Atalay Your assertion that Cuba's economy is entirely affected only by embargoes and not by, say, planned and centralized economies that were proved to fail in every nation they're exercised in, is hilarious, if only you didn't so obviously believe that bullshit.
@Atalay By the year 2006, public sector employment was 78% and private sector 22%, compared to 91.8% to 8.2% in 1981.[87] Capital investment is restricted and requires approval by the government. The Cuban government sets most prices and rations goods. Moreover, any firm wishing to hire a Cuban must pay the Cuban government, which in turn will pay the company's employee in Cuban pesos according to Human Rights Watch.
@Atalay I guess government stifling of human spirit, excessive government jobs, and around 16 dollars a month average pay is all the fault of those evil capitalist countries who aren't cool with Cuba exporting revolution and importing Russian missiles. Gee I wish I could see it as clearly as you.
I never said they are living in luxury am i? They are not exploiting poor countries with imperialist politics at all arent they? Stood against slavery and tyranny of imperialism by yourself is hard for little countries with Iimited sources like Marx said. With imperialist pressures added that, yeah they sure got economical problems. But when you compare them to poor countries which exploited by system you can see how far they come from Batista to today easily.
@Atalay yeahhh there it is. Any nation's success is inherently from exploiting people- regardless of how many imports/exports are sent around, creating jobs and trade. Yeah, anyone who does good is exploiting some poor person. So we should all be poor and broke and live in shit, so that people like you will feel happy about yourself. Oh, just no computers or meat.
That's really how you imagine communism? :) LoL. Today %90 of the production consumed by %10 of the population. Billions of people live miserably exploited by system just for a minorities luxury. Like Kropotkin say, if we collectivize our means of production and use them equally, with 4 hours work per day, everbody can live in a comfort of middle-class family.
@Atalay Yeah that's totally believable buddy. Also please cite a source for the 2 claims you've made about "%90 of the production consumed by %10 of the population." These things are not static. South America uses more than it did years ago. So does America. Import and export rates fluxuate. It's not some simple black and white image, despite your flimsy reference to the 90-10 production/consumption rate.
@Atalay lol to say that the production rates are that inefficient is hilarious. I suppose you believe central planning in all its famine-esque glory is so much more efficient. I remember Ukraine being called the "Breadbasket of Europe" before it was under communist control. After a few years- largest importer of wheat. I wonder what their production rates were like, considering that to go from producing and exporting food to starving and importing food is no great accomplishment.
@Atalay I think your image of "billions of people live miserably exploited by system just for a minorities luxury" is a little extreme. Incredibly extreme, and pretty unfounded.
You live in comfort because of your imperialist politics. You dont even accept that. You use poor countries as cheaper labor potential by controlling their governments, givin them no social rights at all. Your bloody wealth coming from African boy's who just work for food for 15 hours per day. You live in a dream, cause your government use liberal politics to make up capitalism's true face. You are just mindless consumers for your government
@Atalay In ten years, when more and more countries practice this "evil system of exploitation," such as China and every other "modernizing" country in the world, where is your 90% of the oppressed victimized population going to be? When you are forced to see that people can produce for themselves or for the benefit of others as long as there is motivation, are you still going to tout your whiny views?
@Atalay "Imperialism" is kind of an outdated term. Russia goes to war with Afghanistan blatantly for its resources and sphere of influence- falls on a deafening world silence. America enters a war with the same country and is hunting down groups who've organized attacks in many parts of the world- and the bitching is deafening. Been through this before. American wealth= evil. Soviet bankruptcy= America's fault. North Korea's starvation = America's fault. Rockets from Gaza= heroism.
@Atalay Somehow I don't think the end-result computer America gets is exploiting anyone. Somebody in one country sells so much of his labor and parts for it, in another part of the world someone else gets paid for shipping. But that's exploiting. Too bad the whole world doesn't do everything for free with no gain to be had. Oh wait, then there'd be nothing, because that's against human nature. Gee. Too bad all those idiots won't agree and just start giving away their selfish opportunity.
@Atalay One thing inherently wrong with people who share your beliefs is that if one man has a meal and one man doesn't, you say it is the fault of the man with the meal that the other has none. You don't take into account personal responsibility, or any factor that doesn't fit into your excessively simple framework. It gets old hearing the same rhetoric 24/7. See, if you were objective, you could address the good and bad. But that isn't going to happen.
@Atalay Your views have been expressed a thousand times over by a number of useful idiots from all over the world. Wouldn't be so annoying if you didn't have all the same technology and easy living at your hands as people who don't take their life for granted. I'm sure nobody's stopping you from living in a socialist paradise on any of earth's fucked up little totalitarian states, so how about your protest the US from a Cuban computer? Oh wait, you can't do that.
@Atalay Even funnier is you gobble down any "oh, our corruption and starvation of our population is the fault of the capitalist world" propaganda these countries say, but then you don't address how insecure places like Cuba are when it comes to tourists. State controlled hotels with meats and foods that their own people don't get. So Cuba, after being evilly disrupted by the US, somehow cares so much about its image? Perhaps its because its a decrepit state, of its own volition.
@Atalay I'm pretty sure if we lived in a system where you and I had the same job, and you've been hungrily waiting to gobble down somebody else's work, and I'm trying to advance my life, I'm going to be miserable, because we're all broke and have artificial currency and nothing to eat, but you'd be amazingly happy, beacuse at least you don't have to try at all. That's about how it goes.
USA government makes propaganda against Che for years, because USA pictures all the things he stood against. He dreamed a world of equality, justice and freedom. And he knew that, he'd have to fight to gain those. And he did... He lived, fought, killed and died for that dream, never stepped back. Anyone who shares that dream, have to respect Che. And others, who live in comfort by their countries' imperialist politics, are blinded by liberal politics will never understand what Che fought for.
@FTJproductions LMAO..."Too scared"....Of what?? A totalitaran Marxist thug, whose only rule was "Do it my way or I'll kill you". Guevara's stupid adventure into Marxism ended like all others.......Dead in the dirt.
btw: Love Che's $5,000 Rolex @ 1:44. Is that standard Marxist issue equipment?
@Dealit707 actually, if you read non bias material on che, he killed the people that tried to kill him. Which was A LOT OF PEOPLE. Right wing fucks like you mix up shit and twist it around to make it sound like he killed the people that didnt do what he wanted.
As an informal scholar of history, I can tell you that che was indeed a monster. I have several Cuban friends who were there during and after the revolution. I must believe them before I would believe a vulgar camp follower like you.
Executing people with hands bound, on their knees is not killing the people that tried to kill che. che personally murdered young boys in Cuba for the real or imagined actions of their fathers.
What this man did for the world was nothing better of what any guerrillero, or any army did.he commanded militians to a war, for a cause. maybe he had good intentions, maybe he has seen all over sudamerica the extreme poverty, people suffering.what he has seen on his first travel around sudamerica, the one that is narrated on the movie "diarios de motocicleta",was a truth that changed him, he was no longer a man in peace.but you can't help that with a war, that just brings death.
From what I have learned, Che never, ever had any good intentions. The Bolivians who put several bullets in his revolutionary skull would disagree with you as well.
And this actor, typical of actors, fairly genuflects at the alter of che. He is either very ignorant or just another limousine-liberal who would NEVER want to live within 100 miles of Che's famous temper. Question: why do people escape FROM Cuba and not TO it?
I watched both parts one after another in same day. Brilliant. Brought my spirit up, coz I didn't know that much about Che Guevara except his picture on the tobacco I buy. So it was educational and fun to watch at the same time. Che was a fuckin hero of the people but an enemy of the state. Great man, even greater movie.
What do Che Guevera fans say to people who've survived the gulags? What do advocates of that belief system say to the Eastern Europeans who escaped or lived under tyranny? I mean, how is a spoiled middle class westerner qualified to say socialism/communism/Stalinism is good?
@Tripo1iSamson I'm a liberterian socialist (Bookchin, Chomsky, Pannekoek etc.) and a Marxist who criticises real socialism experiances too, takes lessons from them. I believe horizontal organizations, direct and bottom-up democracy with local managements, worker organizations, public assemblies etc. should be main tools for communism. But socialism is a revolution process, so you have to fight against capitalism and kontgerillas. Otherwise as a internationalist term, communism can never exist
And, while you are blaming communism (without know anything about Marxist theory appearently) let me ask you, what do capitalist people say about billions of people who exploited by the system and live in misery in poor countries just for a minorties luxury? What you say about %90 of the production, consumed by %10 of the population today while people dying and killing each other just for hunger? Capitalism is the biggest tyranny of human kind.
@Atalay lol, so I said what do people like you say to the Russians and Cubans who've survived the various horrors they are put through once they become government property, and your response is that I'm blaming. Then you go on to say capitalism is the biggest tyranny- while using a computer that you/someone you know bought, on the internet, that is kept alive through business and $. But no, you're above it all, aren't you?
lol No U.S funding... why am i not surprised at this? I am happy in fact it wasn't funded by people he despised all his life. VIVA Che... and Benicio for a marvelous role.
"why o why make another ?" There's been millions of MURDER and SADIST movies, and they keep being made. Has this journalist genius asked why ?
"...AND It's all subtitled" - because 80% of the world's life happens in other languages you thick and incompetent cow !! Try learning the word TONTA - not a whole language, as it is BEYOND you. Keep asking the moronic question, and take the breadcrumbs home !!
I am happy that no one decided to air that movie about this socialistic murdere in my Country, most of You here doesn't know nothing about comunism and about evil that sicked utopic totalitarian system brought. Things like "social justice" does not exist there is only one Justice. And there is no such thing like equality coz we are all difrent.. Diversity is natural and beutifull. Glad that horried XXc. passed with both socialsitic totalitarisms, nazism and communism.
@SauroniastyPL Oh please Sauronias... don't be unfair to yourself by regurgitating the same old crap about "you don't know anything about socialism... bla bla bla..." SOcialism in Poland might have been one thing, but do us a favour: if you're going to pretend to be a historian then tell me: WHO did Guevara "Murder".... put the facts in front of me and make it look real, please.
why people always hatin' on long films? it just means more awesomeness! and subtitles would be way better than translating it into a language that has nothing to do wid diz!!!!!!1
Toda libertad trae sus muertos. Che was one of the greatest man his love for humanity went beyond any man can do, he gave his life for freedom and social justice for everybody that was his love.
Cuba is a dictatorship!!!There is no freedom since Castro took over!!!Now I am not Cuban but lived next to Cuban family for many years who risked their lives to escape Fidel and Che's free Cuba!!!They were thugs and murderers!!!
@glasgolatt I can imagine Glasgo... most of the gusanos that escaped from Castro's Cuba were thugs and murderers, and still are. Just look at the way they set about trying to murder people who do not agree with them, not just Castro but people in their own community. They ain't known as "gusanos" (worms) for nothing..!!

Benicio del toro takes the audience, to the very end of Che Guevara in Bolivia, and in four hours he touches on many things important o trivial and some relating his life, but completely bypasses and ignores all that time that Che spend in Cuba signing or executing hundreds of men women and youngsters, accuse of counter revolution, and some others, of being political opponents.
I guest that part, wasn't to the liking of his liberal hart, and of his commie friends and investors.
The narrator talks to the prospective audience like we are idiots..."it has subtitles"...wtf most of us can read!
Also to all of the haters on this board...Get some fucking talent and make your own movie according to your "facts" in which you NEVER cite sources for.
kate they remaked that there's subtitles for those that can't speak spanish so its translated to english, not that you guys can't read lol I got the movie and is very touchin and a little depressing how things ended up for Che but like the Sid after his dead he still winning battles.

- 1% of the population controlled 46 % of the wealth
- Batista's goons and secret police killed 20,000 Cubans (tortured even more)

Most of the US 'critics' hated this movie cause it was too neutral. They wanted it to be an anti-Communism anti-Cuba propaganda movie that satisfied their biased point of view, so when this was not met they started ranting about other aspects of the movie like its length and acting and lighting to make people hate it, because a direct assault against what they really hated about it would have been too obvious.

Atalay 1 year ago
Anyone who accuse Che about killing innocents are pure liars.
"I have yet to find a single credible source pointing to a case where Che executed an innocent. Those persons executed by Guevara or on his orders were condemned for the usual crimes punishable by death at times of war or in its aftermath: desertion, treason or crimes such as rape, torture or murder."
Che Guevara: A Revolutionary Life by Jon Lee Anderson (An objective investigation about Che)

Che’s "CRIMES" were ...
~ Overthrowing a brutal U$ backed dictator allied with the Mafia (Batista)
stopping American companies from owning 70 % of the arable land in Cuba
~ Teaching peasants to read, by bringing the Cuban literacy rate from 60 to 97 %
~ Having the 200 or so War Criminals who killed 20,000 Cubans for Batista shot against a wall
~ Speaking out against South African Apartheid to the UN in 1964

I wonder if people who accuses Fidel with dictatorship know that, it's against law to builg Fidel's sculptures in Cuba. Cuba's election system is one of the most democractic elections in the world and Fidel got %95 of the votes almost in each one of them. USA's system is much more status quo than Cuba. If Fidel built 5-6 skyscrapers in Havana instead of creating the free health and education system for all Cubans and other poor latin americans, you would call him "democrat". You dumbasses
Atalay 1 year ago

Atalay 1 year ago
@Atalay Wow you don't give up. It's nice how you don't need facts or anything to advocate an ideology that would change many people's lives.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay On those who say "true communism has never existed"- It remains an elusive unicorn, a reputedly beautiful but mythical beast. Its numerous rumored sightings are as maddeningly evasive as those of the Virgin Mary, Elvis, and UFOs. Western Leftists initially spotted True Communism in the Soviet Union.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay In other words, P suggests that I should develop an "understanding of history" by ... ignoring history. Rather than judge Communism as it exists, P recommends that I "study Marxism." P is somebody who was arguing, very similarly to you, that those who argue against communism as it exists clearly doesn't know Marx. Which is fine, but as this guy says- you're trying to tell me to acquaint myself with history by ignoring it.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay To date, Communism has always resulted in repression and murder. In Europe and Asia and Africa and Latin America. In industrial nations and agrarian nations. In nations ethnically homogenous and ethnically diverse. In former monarchies, and former colonies, and former democracies. Whatever the cultural, geographical, and historical preconditions, Communism has been consistently murderous. How many more chances is it entitled to? How many more victims?

I support a bottom-up system, a direct democracy and freedom of speech. Thats why i criticise Soviets about Kronstadt. BUT socialism is a revolution process before communism so you have to fight with kontgerilla either. It's a necessity. Like Fidel said "The revolution is a dictatorship of the exploited against the exploiters."

Atalay 1 year ago
@Atalay I tend to subscribe to the realistic notion that the parts of the world of the world that achieved the most were the ones who offered their people the least economic stifling. Which basically rules out the Soviet Union and other totalitarian states. It's really cool of you to reference an equal US action for every shithead dictator you love the cock of, but it doesn't change the fact that you're sitting back, eating McDonald's, typing on your US-made computer, on the internet, bitching.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
And yeah, Cuba was a fucked up place before the revolution. And communism wasn't much better. That's the thing about 'revolutionaries,' you people can always emphasize how great a revolution is, but don't seem to mind things like cultural revolutions or forced labor camps. Conversely, you will bitch about the American prison system constantly. Gets old after hearing it for the 354th time from somebody who's nation is flirting with both radical Islam and leftist dictatorship.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Tripo1iSamson
Atalay 1 year ago
@Tripo1iSamson
Atalay 1 year ago
@Atalay As a result of computer ownership bans, computer ownership rates are among the world's lowest. Right to use Internet is granted only to selected people and these selected people are monitored. Connecting to the Internet illegally can lead to a five-year prison sentence. I guess that makes it really hard to talk to any Cubans myself, huh? Those evil Amercans must be embargoing their interweb. Oh wait, that's leftist politics for you, put in practice.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay Your assertion that Cuba's economy is entirely affected only by embargoes and not by, say, planned and centralized economies that were proved to fail in every nation they're exercised in, is hilarious, if only you didn't so obviously believe that bullshit.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay By the year 2006, public sector employment was 78% and private sector 22%, compared to 91.8% to 8.2% in 1981.[87] Capital investment is restricted and requires approval by the government. The Cuban government sets most prices and rations goods. Moreover, any firm wishing to hire a Cuban must pay the Cuban government, which in turn will pay the company's employee in Cuban pesos according to Human Rights Watch.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay I guess government stifling of human spirit, excessive government jobs, and around 16 dollars a month average pay is all the fault of those evil capitalist countries who aren't cool with Cuba exporting revolution and importing Russian missiles. Gee I wish I could see it as clearly as you.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Tripo1iSamson
Atalay 1 year ago
@Atalay yeahhh there it is. Any nation's success is inherently from exploiting people- regardless of how many imports/exports are sent around, creating jobs and trade. Yeah, anyone who does good is exploiting some poor person. So we should all be poor and broke and live in shit, so that people like you will feel happy about yourself. Oh, just no computers or meat.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Tripo1iSamson
@Tripo1iSamson
Atalay 1 year ago
@Atalay Yeah that's totally believable buddy. Also please cite a source for the 2 claims you've made about "%90 of the production consumed by %10 of the population." These things are not static. South America uses more than it did years ago. So does America. Import and export rates fluxuate. It's not some simple black and white image, despite your flimsy reference to the 90-10 production/consumption rate.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay lol to say that the production rates are that inefficient is hilarious. I suppose you believe central planning in all its famine-esque glory is so much more efficient. I remember Ukraine being called the "Breadbasket of Europe" before it was under communist control. After a few years- largest importer of wheat. I wonder what their production rates were like, considering that to go from producing and exporting food to starving and importing food is no great accomplishment.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay I think your image of "billions of people live miserably exploited by system just for a minorities luxury" is a little extreme. Incredibly extreme, and pretty unfounded.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Tripo1iSamson
Really? Extreme?
You live in comfort because of your imperialist politics. You dont even accept that. You use poor countries as cheaper labor potential by controlling their governments, givin them no social rights at all. Your bloody wealth coming from African boy's who just work for food for 15 hours per day. You live in a dream, cause your government use liberal politics to make up capitalism's true face. You are just mindless consumers for your government
Atalay 1 year ago
@Atalay Wow, genius rebuttal.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay In ten years, when more and more countries practice this "evil system of exploitation," such as China and every other "modernizing" country in the world, where is your 90% of the oppressed victimized population going to be? When you are forced to see that people can produce for themselves or for the benefit of others as long as there is motivation, are you still going to tout your whiny views?
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay "Imperialism" is kind of an outdated term. Russia goes to war with Afghanistan blatantly for its resources and sphere of influence- falls on a deafening world silence. America enters a war with the same country and is hunting down groups who've organized attacks in many parts of the world- and the bitching is deafening. Been through this before. American wealth= evil. Soviet bankruptcy= America's fault. North Korea's starvation = America's fault. Rockets from Gaza= heroism.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay Somehow I don't think the end-result computer America gets is exploiting anyone. Somebody in one country sells so much of his labor and parts for it, in another part of the world someone else gets paid for shipping. But that's exploiting. Too bad the whole world doesn't do everything for free with no gain to be had. Oh wait, then there'd be nothing, because that's against human nature. Gee. Too bad all those idiots won't agree and just start giving away their selfish opportunity.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay One thing inherently wrong with people who share your beliefs is that if one man has a meal and one man doesn't, you say it is the fault of the man with the meal that the other has none. You don't take into account personal responsibility, or any factor that doesn't fit into your excessively simple framework. It gets old hearing the same rhetoric 24/7. See, if you were objective, you could address the good and bad. But that isn't going to happen.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay Your views have been expressed a thousand times over by a number of useful idiots from all over the world. Wouldn't be so annoying if you didn't have all the same technology and easy living at your hands as people who don't take their life for granted. I'm sure nobody's stopping you from living in a socialist paradise on any of earth's fucked up little totalitarian states, so how about your protest the US from a Cuban computer? Oh wait, you can't do that.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay Even funnier is you gobble down any "oh, our corruption and starvation of our population is the fault of the capitalist world" propaganda these countries say, but then you don't address how insecure places like Cuba are when it comes to tourists. State controlled hotels with meats and foods that their own people don't get. So Cuba, after being evilly disrupted by the US, somehow cares so much about its image? Perhaps its because its a decrepit state, of its own volition.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Atalay I'm pretty sure if we lived in a system where you and I had the same job, and you've been hungrily waiting to gobble down somebody else's work, and I'm trying to advance my life, I'm going to be miserable, because we're all broke and have artificial currency and nothing to eat, but you'd be amazingly happy, beacuse at least you don't have to try at all. That's about how it goes.
Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
USA government makes propaganda against Che for years, because USA pictures all the things he stood against. He dreamed a world of equality, justice and freedom. And he knew that, he'd have to fight to gain those. And he did... He lived, fought, killed and died for that dream, never stepped back. Anyone who shares that dream, have to respect Che. And others, who live in comfort by their countries' imperialist politics, are blinded by liberal politics will never understand what Che fought for.

Have a nice day, Comrade.

@Dealit707 actually, if you read non bias material on che, he killed the people that tried to kill him. Which was A LOT OF PEOPLE. Right wing fucks like you mix up shit and twist it around to make it sound like he killed the people that didnt do what he wanted.
FTJproductions 1 year ago
@FTJproductions .....

What this man did for the world was nothing better of what any guerrillero, or any army did.he commanded militians to a war, for a cause. maybe he had good intentions, maybe he has seen all over sudamerica the extreme poverty, people suffering.what he has seen on his first travel around sudamerica, the one that is narrated on the movie "diarios de motocicleta",was a truth that changed him, he was no longer a man in peace.but you can't help that with a war, that just brings death.
nicolasledesma 1 year ago
@nicolasledesma ..
Cheers

Tripo1iSamson 1 year ago
@Tripo1iSamson I'm a liberterian socialist (Bookchin, Chomsky, Pannekoek etc.) and a Marxist who criticises real socialism experiances too, takes lessons from them. I believe horizontal organizations, direct and bottom-up democracy with local managements, worker organizations, public assemblies etc. should be main tools for communism. But socialism is a revolution process, so you have to fight against capitalism and kontgerillas. Otherwise as a internationalist term, communism can never exist
Atalay 1 year ago
@Tripo1iSamson
Atalay 1 year ago
@Atalay lol, so I said what do people like you say to the Russians and Cubans who've survived the various horrors they are put through once they become government property, and your response is that I'm blaming. Then you go on to say capitalism is the biggest tyranny- while using a computer that you/someone you know bought, on the internet, that is kept alive through business and $. But no, you're above it all, aren't you?

Benicio del toro takes the audience, to the very end of Che Guevara in Bolivia, and in four hours he touches on many things important o trivial and some relating his life, but completely bypasses and ignores all that time that Che spend in Cuba signing or executing hundreds of men women and youngsters, accuse of counter revolution, and some others, of being political opponents.
I guest that part, wasn't to the liking of his liberal hart, and of his commie friends and investors.
