Christians do not want to limit anyone's human rights or personal dignity. On the contrary, Christians want to see the social advance and well being of our society and more than anything wants to see all people come to a perfect understanding of self and freedom from any manner of spiritual bondage by the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. who is above everything else in
I hope that one day very soon, people will open their eyes and see the true definition of love. its not whats between the legs but within the heart. We arn't trying to tell you that your religion is wrong, so why do they wanna take away our rights?
@scorand my understanding is vikings very much despised homosexuals , some would use homosexual rape as a means of breaking someones spirit , but to be accused of being on the receiving side of a homosexual relationship was considered a grave insult
@bearsagainstevil yes to anyone who wasnt one of their own, but for some one who was it was somewhat simular to how native americans saw them as two spirited. at least if i remeber it correctly.. and besides your argument is a strawman argument.. as most acredited psycologists agree there is nothing wrong with gays, there is something wrong with the interpretation of said scriptures and the ideology and mentality behind those interpretations.. even if you arent religous. its the same process
@sandworm3 asks, "The guy in the video talks about rights, what is the right? To redefine marriage to whatever a group so chooses?"
Well, to open up the confines of marriage so it's accessible to all citizens, with no one minority being singled out for exception based on invalid, irrational grounds. Remember, they "redefined" marriage by letting blacks marry other blacks, by allowing interracial and interfaith couples to marry, to cement women's equality into law. Marriage has always evolved.
Removing racial marriage bans AFFIRMS marriage by stating that any MAN or WOMAN have the right to marry each other, regardless of race. Same-sex marriage however, REDEFINES marriage. What is more, it is developmentally very different for a child to grow up with a white mother and Asian father, than two mothers or two fathers. Think on that.
Classic case of homosexual agenda comparing apples to oranges. Not the same as a race issue. Race is about unchangeable characteristics. Cannot be an ex-black or ex-hispanic. Ah, but ex-gays exist. Something this movement will try to silence big time. The church should have (or maybe they did) welcomed them in for services. Christ is still in the business of deliverance.
Sandworm3, of course, no sane, educated person believes in the myth of the "ex-gays". They only exist in the minds of the self-deluded, who are so desperate to justify the irrational tenets of their chosen religious lifestyle, that they will go through all sorts of dishonest backflips in order to rationalize their bigotry. "Religious" people did scream blue murder when blacks were allowed to marry other blacks & when interracial marriage became law, because they claimed it redefined marriage too
@GodCreatesGays2 No myth. I heard a wonderful woman give her testimony. She was the editor of Venus Magazine, a gay activist magazine. She at one point met a Christian woman who shared Christ with her. Had nothing to do with her sexuality. She was delivered from the lifestyle and gave her story at a gay rally. Many others came to her afterward seeking too, that they wanted out. She found her mission field. The Exodus Movement is another group founded by ex-gays.
@sandworm3, of course, the woman in question merely caved in to societal, "religious" pressure in order to fit into a society that routinely bashes, harasses, and condemns gay people. She didn't "stop" being gay, if she really had been a lesbian in the first place. Sexual orientation is innate; believing myths about ex-gays in order to justify a religious lifestyle is a choice.
@GodCreatesGays2 Please read John 9. The account of a blind man healed. Getting to vs. 13 the investigation takes place. They even question if he was really blind. A true deliverance is always going to be in question in this same manner. It is how the enemy works.
@sandworm3, why read myths and fables written by men, whose stories cause so many of the problems to begin with, when you can just accept God's will directly? The devil corrupts men's eyes, deceiving them through "religious" misinterpretations, but the Lord is never wrong. His decisions are good enough for me.
@GodCreatesGays2 I don't agree. Sexuality is to be expressed between a man and a woman in the confines of marriage, anythng else, be it gay or straight, is sin, and moreover short circuits our programing for intimacy. Next, You seem to be representing your view as a believer, but deny the scriptures by calling them myths and fables. Sorry but that doesn't work and sums up why you are creating your own order of things astray from a biblical standard.
SW, I understand that the indoctrination of your religious lifestyle has led you to accept certain ideas as truth, and that is fine for you. We all have free will & can choose whom & what to believe. My acknowledging that the Bible's myths hold no sway over me does tend to unnerve & bother those who want to accept the book's supposed veracity, but I'm not asking anyone else to discard the comforting stories they choose to believe in. I'm just saying that I, personally, prefer going with God.
@GodCreatesGays2 One cannot separate the two. In John, the very beginning is - The Word became flesh. This flesh is Jesus Christ. We don't access God in any other way than through Jesus Christ. Can I ask the question? How do you deal with the person of Jesus Christ?
@sandworm3, again, you are taking your beliefs directly from the Bible, which instructs you believe unquestioningly in its veracity. That is fine for you. I don't disbelief in Christ's existence, but His recorded history, as written, edited, translated, interpreted, etc., by human, fallible men in the Bible, is open to question and interpretation.
@GodCreatesGays2 It's all about authority. 2 Timothy 3:16 claims all scripture to be God-breathed. God used humans as writers and authors, yes, fallen sinners. He uses us. Something that separates our faith from all others. Absolutely, the bible is open to your questions, and they all get answered. The lens of interpretation is a careful one. Is it black and white? Somethings are, some are not. I believe that with a sincere heart God will reveal truth to the reader.
@GodCreatesGays2 (cont) To understand this book however, one must be born again. How do we do that? Repent of our sins, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. It's all about Calvary. We cannot do anything to right our wrongs. It's all about the cross and the blood. The blood of this man, Jesus. The blood of God. It heals the leper, gives sight to the blind, heals the sick and the dead both physically and spiritually. Believe this, and confess Him as Lord and you will be saved.
@GodCreatesGays2 Christ says, come as you are. We don't clean up or straighten up. With a sincere heart to receive Him by faith, He will make us step by step to be the people He wants us to be. He does the cleaning and straightening. Our heart becomes His home. Grace and Peace.
@sandworm3, yes, the Bible purports that Jesus said many things, much of it may very well be true. As a firm defender of the downtrodden, Jesus would be the first one to fight against inequality and injustice for any of God's children, including the gay ones. Peace out.
@GodCreatesGays2 Agreed. I am against injustice even if you aren't one of God's children. I approach this through the lens of truth and grace. The truth is that we are all sinners and we are all fallen. The bible being the written authority and the moral order of the way we should live has spoken on these matters. The grace part is, that because we are sinners and fallen, we can't live up to this standard. We have a mediator and that is Jesus Christ. Perfect in our place. (cont.)
@GodCreatesGays2 (cont) If we fail to recognize what we do as sin, how does the mediator represent us with grace and mercy? I think the heart of the problem is placing sexuality as a priority ahead of God. I love the verse from Hebrews 12: "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, let us run with perserverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus."
@sandworm3 writes, "If we fail to recognize what we do as sin, how does the mediator represent us with grace and mercy? I think the heart of the problem is placing sexuality as a priority ahead of God."
Since gay people are no more guilty of 'sin" than straights are in this regard, there's no valid, rational reason why they, and only they, must lose the privilege and rights of marriage, when it's the heterosexual community which is actually responsible for its current, fractured state.
@GodCreatesGays2 a fractured state is not a reason to water down and redefine the definition. When laws aren't working, legislators try to fix them. We should strengthen marriage, and many are beginninig to do just that. We've been down this road already, but the moral order of things is marriage between a man and a woman. One husband and one wife. All sexual activity outside of marriage is sin, straight or gay. Gay marriage doesn't somehow legitimize the behavior, it's still gay sex.
@sandworm3 if that is the case then religious leaders sholdnt have imposed their interpretations on the scriptures they use to begin with and shouldnt have redefined it as between one man and one woman.. and it was polygime that was the bases for that definition, not gay marriage, but then if you want to strengthen marriage then alowing gay marriage can only do just that..
@GodCreatesGays2 I will say again, I am no different or better than anyone struggling with homosexuality. All my trash and sin that I allow into my life has been spoken on as well. I turn to Jesus, why? because I acknowledge what I do as an offense to my Holy God, and am weak. In Christ there is great freedom. Not to do as we wish, but to do the things we ought to do and when we fail, He is there, to clean us up, and bring our fall and crawl to a stand, walk, and run again.
@GodCreatesGays2 Just a couple of thoughts... In the created order of things, God created sex. He brought the fire of this wonderful gift. A campfire is good, great actually, when it is contained in the firepit. When my kids make torches and run through the woods, it becomes bad. The order, it is good. To be shared between a man and a woman in the confines of marriage. What the culture suggests, certainly isn't working.
In the order of thing, God created heterosexual sex for str8 people, and gay sex for homosexuals. A wonderful, warming "fire", when shared by consenting adults who love each other & want to share and express intimacy. When heteros need to prove their own fire can burn more brightly than anyone else's, and when they need to torch the village to prove their fire's supposed superiority, it becomes a very, very bad thing. Oppressing God's children, and blaming man's ignorance on Him, isn't working.
@TruthAlwaysHerts WOW! You've been on YouTube less than 2 months and already you spend more time on gay issues than a rent boy at a truckstop gloryhole. I think the verdict is still out on whether you may be that rent boy. MARY.
@moopism yeah thats because I notice faggots are all crying to get attention... whether it is gay marriage issues or gay teen suicides, faggots are all needing emotional attention.
I hate homosexuality.. its a fucking sham. Fuck you all faggots
haha silly fagget get your facts right XD how many of the california poulation is mormon? and it still passed by 12% and trust, california is not 50% mormon soooo if your gunna bitch about it bitch to the other percentage of a\california that voted against you ass jamming fuck tards X]
@idaman12345 our whole government was based on religion the idea of freedom was only a privlage because you can only do things that you want within the law but it was our law that we can make and change laws if california has decided to ban the marrage of gay couples then thats what they chose and you cant keep throwing the voters choice away everytime you dont get what you want
@ma7799 Maybe you should just stick to playing with your trains, 'cause you've got no clue what you're talking about and that comment just makes you look stupid.
For the record, the CA gvt isn't appealing, and NOM, who is trying to, has yet to establish standing. If legal president holds, they won't be able too. So who's REALLY the sore losers?
Someday your grandkids will find your statements old fashioned and bigoted. I already do.
You love to use the term "bigot" to anyone who doesn't praise your deviant lifestyle. It;s really very comical. It is no surprise that you like to ride planes, since you love those TSA employees groping you.
@ma7799 I'm not asking you to praise a goodamned thing. But if you can't own up to the fact that what you support IS, in fact bigotry, then all I can say is grow a pair and be truthful. Chickenshit.
@ma7799 You mean laughable like how if you just say "I'm rubber, you're glue" the whole concept and definition of bigotry magically disappears and you can say all the hateful shit you want AND call the recipients of the abuse "bigots"?
@moopism wow ok dude chill out this comment is old as fck nd within the time i've had i found a respect for the gayy community but the law is law and if the constitution allowed this prop to be past then it meets the constitutional rights we are a democracy and democracy is just that the ruling of a majority vs a minority i ment to offend a socity that i never understood and now i'm sorry but the peoples votes cant just be thrown to heck what happened happened i wish nothing but peace for you
@H3dph0wn5 Fair enough, IF your new found respect is real. However, the constitution is still the final word on whether ANY law is legal, and complaining about the "will of the voters" is ignoring that fundamental truth. Seriously,DUDE, you need to start paying attention in school, because your understanding of how our country's process is sadly lacking for someone who wants to offer opinions in public.
@moopism wow lol ok mr.hawking lol if your so smart you stop wasteing ur time writing all these little things about how i dnt know anything nd take it to someone who gives a crap lol nd btw i'm only in the 9th grade but i atleast know my rights dude so i can offer any oppinion i want stupid or not but gues wht you cant do?....yup your cunt ass cant get married jeeze alot of gay people were cool when they werent all in your face about it but here you are trying to demolderize my new found respect
@H3dph0wn5 If you want to make political statements in public, SONNY, then be prepared to take your lumps. But if you want to plead that you're just a little child incapable of adult discussions or challenges to your obvious ignorance, then don't put your opinion out there.
BTW, your channel profile says you're nineteen, so either you're a liar in violation of the terms of use, or you're really nineteen and still in the 9th grade.
So which is it? Are you a liar? Or just very stupid?
Somebody mentioned Pedophile Marriage. What does that Have to do with anything? Gay People do deserve rights so I would vote to legalize Gay marriage.
@prayforthegaycure That's funny, hearing you talk about "normal" people. You happen to be a 19 year old black male with multiple screen names. You are so ashamed of who you are that you cannot even face this fact. Here are your other screen names:
LakeishaQueen, CHANGEmeansNOwhites, TimothyRed1990, NickiQuest, DoctorSchumacher... I think you have multiple personality disorder. Get help!
@prayforthegaycure and, you also know that 98 percent of pedophiles are HETERSEXUAL MALES? Just like YOU... And, you are too late to call gay marriage something other than marriage. You should have brought this up BEFORE Massachusetts started marrying gays. It is done now, and will not go away...
@prayforthegaycure I guess if you are advocating tor pedophiles to go to jail, you are advocating for HETEROSEXUALS to go to jail? So, why are you bringing gays into this discussion? 98 percent of men who molest boys are STRAIGHT, and 100 percent of men who molest girls are heterosexual.... Write congress. Urge them to put the heterosexual molesters in jail!
@namasteywhat what you also don't realize, since you are Canadian, is that Prop 8 has the very real potential of giving gay marriage to the nation, since it violates the US Constitution. The FOOLS who voted for it, are going to have to deal with the consequences of their actions, aren't they? In addiiton to that, the USA is the ONLY country to vote on gay marriage. In YOUR country it was decided by courts. It is IMMORAL to vote on civil rights issues of a minority.
@namasteywhat LOL! This is without doubt the stupidest comment on this thread. Good job! I guess you weren't aware that the California legislature was the very FIRST to pass a gay marriage bill? If Schwartzenegger had signed the bill, we would have been the first state to pass gay marriage through the legislature. He didn't have the courage to sign it. And, not only did they pass this bill once, but TWICE! He vetoed it twice, cause he's a girly man.
Gays should not have any rights whatsoever. The gay lifestyle is an abomination. God condemns homosexuality. If you are gay and you don't change your ways, you will burn at the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Remember that God loves you, He just hates the sin. Please forsake all of your sins and come unto Christ because he is your Redeemer as well. You can be forgiven! Just need to repent and change your ways!
@crxracer805 who cares what an "imaginary" god thinks? God doesn't exist, he was "created" by men. Any fool knows this... And, since you claim to be so smart, please explain what the "gay lifestyle" is. I'm dying to know, since I'm a gay person and I know DOZENS of gay lifestyles. I happen to be happily and LEGALLY married to my same sex spouse, so my lifestyle is the same as most married straight people.
@lisztnut The gay lifestyle is simply being gay...being attracted to the same sex. For men, it's getting it in the butt, and for women, they get the carpet munching. Simple enough. OH and the Founding Fathers WERE inspired by God and guided by God to lay the foundation for this great country
@crxracer805 OK, here's the lifestyle of a gay man I know. He is married to a WOMAN, and has never had sex with another man. So, is he living a "gay lifestyle?" You clearly have NO clue of what you're talking about. Then again, you believe in magic underwear, celestial marriages, and temple recommends. Case closed...
@crxracer805 there are LOTS of gay people in your cult. Many of them are in "fake" heterosexual relationships. Do you consider them to be living a "gay lifestyle" despite the fact that they have no sexual contact with persons of the same sex, and yet ARE gay people?
@lisztnut The male lifestyle is the same as the Asian style. However, the gay male lifestyle is different than any straight man. The gay male is attracted to the same gender and so the way they live is completely different? Ok why did you ask that? Are you stupid or something. Are you stupid to think that being gay is the same as being straight?
@crxracer805 Oh, I see, so I come home to my husband every evening, we have dinner together. We take our vacations together, and, just like other straight couples, we don't have children by CHOICE. Now, tell me how this is a different lifestyle than a straight married couples.... I'll be waiting for your reply... There is only ONE difference, and that is our gender is the same. That is the ONLY difference, otherwise our lifestyle is IDENTICAL.
@lisztnut Of course the world views the LDS church as a cult. Don't you think I know that? It's because the Church is true, I know it is and I know that we have high standards and the Church does not have control over us. We have our agency to choose. We hold marriage between a man and a woman sacred, and it is ordained of God. I'm sorry that you are going against God's laws and you can't seem to recognize that you live a life full of sin and filth which is an abomination in the eyes of God
@crxracer805 Oh, you have SO much to learn. Where can I begin? Marriage is a LEGAL contract between TWO adults and their government. The "blessings' of your imaginary friend mean nothing to me, and they should get NO legal recognition. In France, ALL weddings are civil and EVERY couple marries at city hall. That's as it should be. If a French couple wants to have a "religious" ceremony, it's their business, but the government won't validate it. Separation of church/state.
@crxracer805 didn't you know that marriage was a Pagan ritual that the early Christians STOLE? There was NO "creation" of marriage by your heavenly father. You clearly know nothing about this history of marriage.
@crxracer805 look, I don't hate you or think you are a bad person for belonging to any religion. However, I draw the line when you force these beliefs into MY government. I don't care if you believe in Santa, just don't force this on the rest of society. If Atheists can marry in this country, which they DO, then you CANNOT use religion as a reason to deny gays and lesbians the same LEGAL benefit, can you?
@crxracer805 do you think Atheists should be denied marriage rights? What would prevent a straight Atheist couple from suing the LDS to marry in their temples?
@crxracer805 , It's quite obvious you are mincing politics with your religious views. While a minority seems to be able to abstain from that, you are clearly in the majority. Plus your views on WHY people look at the LDS church as a cult are just silly. They say it's a cult because what the church says is true? What kind of logic is that? I live in Salt Lake and know just as many scumbags that are Mormons as nice folk.
@crxracer805, My mother who is Mormon even admitted to me that if I'm going to use logic and reason I'm going to win against her in a theological debate. She is practically a scholar for your church and even she knows that the lack of archelogical evidence and the way the Book of Mormon was translated is highly suspicious at best.
@crxracer805 as a matter of fact we are using our state joint tax refund for our vacation this year, just like many straight couples who are married. If you described our "lifestyle" in great detail and left out the fact that we are of the same gender, it would be impossible to tell us apart from a straight couple. Our lives are VERY much the same. In fact, we have a straight couple as our closest friends. Their lifestyle is the SAME, and they are also childless by CHOICE.
@crxracer805 oh, there is one major difference in our marriage and that of our straight friends. We have BETTER sex. WAY better sex, as a matter of fact. It's a simple matter of anatomy 101. People of the same gender generally have better sex, because only someone with the same body parts can please their partners sexually.
@crxracer805 And, I think this is something that shows up a lot when religious homophobes such as yourself discuss the "gay lifestyle." You have heard about our wonderful sex lives. Well, the myth is TRUE!
@lisztnut I thought you were a woman all this time. Hmmn you're a guy. Dude that is gross, I don't want to hear about your disgustingness. If you're so educated why the heck do you waste your time on here for a while? I'm done arguing. I'm not going to convince you, nor are you going to convince me. So do as you please and suffer the consequences in this life or in the life to come. Have a goodnight
@crxracer805 Yes, I'm male, and proud of it. My husband is ALSO male, and we have a GREAT sex life, which I bet you're dying to hear about, aren't you?
@crxracer805 it is NOT a waste of time to help someone get "free" of a religious cult. If I can help one person get out of the LDS cult, I have not wasted my time...
@crxracer805 my husband works for a university, just as I do. So, our "lifestyle" is very similar, as is our schedule. We have the freedom and ability to travel a lot because we have no kids to worry about, and are on an academic calendar.
@crxracer805 by the way, when I get done educating you, you can kindly send me some tuition... I know you Mor(m)ons are taught some pretty terrible things about gays. How do I know? My spouse's ex-partner was a Mor(m)on who left the church, divorced his wife, and was able to live openly as the gay man he was born to be. He eventually went into gay porn...
@lisztnut Thanks for that list of websites you gave me, I checked them out. Nothing but filth and lies. I feel sorry for those Church members who felled away...that is just wrong. Anyway I'm out, I'm not going to waste my time on this. I got better things to do
@crxracer805 fine, continue to live a life of denial, or learn the TRUTH about your cult. The choice is yours.... And, one word of advice, next time a gay right's issue comes up again, you'd better think twice about supporting the opposing viewpoint. You see Prop 8 has the potential to give gay marriage to the NATION. That's because it violated the US Constitution and WILL be overturned in court. It means that gay couples in UTAH will marry because of Prop 8! Cool, huh?
@crxracer805 I guess you never wondered why employees lump race, gender and sexual orientation into the SAME category when you apply for a job? Why do they say this:
We do not discriminate based on gender, race or sexual orientation.
@crxracer805 nobody chooses their sexual orientation, and nobody (not even your imaginary friend, the heavenly father) can CHANGE their orientation. The ONLY thing you can change is your sexual behavior, but your orientation remains FIXED for life.
@lisztnut First of all God does exist. If you say that God doesn't exist you're basically saying that there was no creation. If there was no creation, then we don't exist. Hmmm you're mental. Second the gay lifestyle is just being gay, being attracted to the same sex. Third, Gay people DO NOT live the same lifestyle as straight people do...are you kidding me? Stop living in SIN, REPENT, REPENT!!! REPENT!!! AND FORSAKE THE WICKED LIFESTYLE THAT SATAN WANTS YOU LIVE.
@crxracer805 no, god does NOT exist. Give it up. You are an adult now, it is time to GROW UP, and realize that god was created by men. There is NO creation, because there is NO creator. OK, so what about the man I know personally who does NOT have sex with other men, and yet identifies as a gay male? What is his lifestyle? He's married to a woman. Tell me how his lifestyle is gay. And, YES, I am legally MARRIED to ONE person who is of the same sex.
@crxracer805 I have been on every continent except Antarctica, and I can tell you unequivocally that each culture CREATED a god in their image. You have done missionary work in ONE country. What experience of the world do YOU have?
@crxracer805 your so-called "religion" was concocted by Joe Smith around 1830. Do you mean to tell me that it is the one and only true religion? Other Christians do not even consider your cult to be Christian.
@crxracer805 see the problem with you brainwashed religious nuts is that you can't rap your brain around the FACT that some people are BORN gay and others are born straight. There is NO lifestyle that will adequately define all gay people, nor is there a "lifestyle" that defines all straights. You religious people started using that word in relation to gays in order to dengrate us, and make is sound like being gay is a choice.
@crxracer805 being gay isn't any more of a sin or moral issue than being Asian or female. They are one and the same. Sexual orientation is identical to race and gender. They are INNATE and IMMUTABLE characteristics.
@Nobama0000 yes, and gay married couples will soon be living in military housing. AND, they will get spousal benefits if one of them dies in combat. Times are changing for the better.... It's about time that gays are treated EQUALLY in society. THE GAY AGENDA:
@namasteywhat yes, thank god for Prop 8, it will likely give gay marriage to the NATION! Just think, gay couples in Utah can marry cause of Prop 8! Can't WAIT... It's on its way to being invalidated by SCOTUS as we speak...
Interesting...but, when some Christians ventured into a "gay area" in San Francisco, they were run out, cursed at and police had to be called to control the hate mob...NOT the Christians..the "gay" but, not happy people. Who are the haters??
@djosings you don't understand this story at all (what's new?). Imagine a gay group coming into your church and kissing and making out in front of your congregation. Would you welcome that group openly, or ask them to leave? The Christian group was politely ASKED to leave. They didn't, and they kept insisting on preaching AGAINST homosexuality right in front of some gay bars. This was OFFENSIVE, and I wish I'd been there, as I would have joined in on chasing them out of our neighborhood.
@djosings I bet you've also heard about the old woman who had her cross brutally yanked out of her hand by some out of control gay people? Knowing you as I do, I would imagine you are a regular viewer of FOX news. Let me tell you the TRUE story about that old woman. She staged that whole scene. She called a local news station and told them to meet her at this rally. She forced her way into the crowd, and virtually BEGGED them to respond as they did. She's a FRAUD...
@djosings you see how news stories get twisted around to support an agenda? There were also many stories about Prop 8 signs getting stolen out of people's yards. Well, the TRUTH is that it went both ways, and in fact San Diego's mayor had his NO on Prop 8 sign stolen and his yard vandalized by some anti-gay marriage folks. And, I ask you which is worse, losing your sign or your civil rights?
@djosings I think I'd rather lose my lawn sign than my civil rights. Some time I'll explain to you what it feels like to LOSE your civil rights. You wouldn't have a CLUE...
Funny how "religious people" target Homosexuals. I cant remember the last time I stood inside a church and protested jeebus, come to think of it I never have. Am I a judgmental person? No Im not religious.
@BlessedMeWithHisFire He created Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.....to multiply in his land look it up in the book of Genesis if a man and a man can multiply and spread forth life unto the earth I am sure it would be ok in God's eye's but thats not the case....a man and a man can't have child nor can a woman or a woman
@idaman12345 It's a saying or riddle....but no it not a scare tactic is not a tactic at all its love or respect God isn't real huh....you'll see he is
@FlyinSpaghettiMnstr7 hey, the truth is god didn't create anyone. In fact, man created god, not vice versa. Also, I guess you didn't know that mankind was on earth 1.4 million years BEFORE Adam and Eve! oops!
@lisztnut u missed my point, i said he was half right that god did not create adam and steve. if that's the half he was right about, guess what he's wrong about.....
@charlietuaau61 actually, you are half correct. God didn't create Adam and Eve either. In fact, god created NOTHING. Man created god, not vice versa. And, mankind was on earth (documented) 1.4 MILLION years BEFORE the Adam and Eve myth. And, let me guess, you believe Eve talked to a snake and this place a curse on all humanity unless we believe in an imaginary being. Is that right?
@charlietuaau61 and, correction, it will soon be possible for two women to procreate. Researchers in Britain are working on a procedure to inseminate one woman's egg with another woman's stem cell. And, frankly I don't give a fuck because I'm a gay male and have NO interest in procreating. My purpose in life is FAR higher than reproducing myself...
@charlietuaau61 and, whose to say that gays can't have children? That's nonsense. I suppose you think that infertile straight couples and senior citizens ought to be forbidden from marrying too, since you view procreation as the only purpose of marriage? But, something tells me you are a hypocrite in this regard.
@lisztnut stop trying to put words in my....and are infertile staight couples gay no.....or senior citizens gay no.....I am not against them but agaisnt gay marriage and if you don't know don't call me a hypocrite
@charlietuaau61 I see, so your ONLY reason to oppose gay marraige is cause you don't like gays, is that correct? How very enlightened of you... NOT! What an idtiot you are. But, at least you are honest. Prop 8 was NOT about anything BUT bigotry against gays, at least you admit it. Those against gay marriage thought up all sorts of LAME reasons, without admitting their true reason: they HATE fags!
@lisztnut again putting words in my mouth.....where did I say i didn't like gay people where.....I said I was agaisnt gay marriage and I have that right to say that.....so the problem with people like you is you want to fight others who have other beliefs or opinions thats not the same as yours....
@charlietuaau61 You clearly don't understand anything. My stance is that it is IRRELEVANT what the public says about gay marriage. It shouldn't be up to the majority of voters, 95 percent of whom are straight, to decide whether 5 percent of the population (gay people) should be allowed to marry. This decision should be decided in courts and legislatures, as was done in EVERY country EXCEPT the USA. The majority has NO right to dicate civil rights issues to the minority. It is IMMORAL.
@charlietuaau61 see, it's called "FREEDOM.' That means if I happen to be gay, then I should be afforded the FREEDOM to marry who I love, and not who YOU think I should love. Got it?
@lisztnut wtf no.....Freedom huh what about Laws and Rules that this country was build under the very fabrics of the country was build around christianity and to make life better the it was in England get you facts straight
@charlietuaau61 LOL! Clearly you know NOTHING. Our founding fathers were mostly DEISTS. In fact, many of them were AGAINST Christianity. Thomas Paine said: The Christian bible is a FRAUD which insults god. Thomas Jefferson: I can find NO redeeming factor to the superstition known as Christianity. Our country was founding on SEPARATION of church and state, until you idiots started bringing god back into government. Get god OUT of government.
@lisztnut Actually our Founding Fathers were Christians and this country was founded by God himself in order to prepare it for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be restored in America
@crxracer805 I hope you are joking. You seem to know very little about the history of America. Is this perhaps because you are an immigrant? The people who came to our shores to form our country were ESCAPING a government which was ruled by one religion. They were adamant that we not repeat the same mistake here. That's why many of our early leaders were AGAINST god in government.
@crxracer805 Thomas Jefferson said: our civil rights have no dependance on our religious opinions, any more than our opinions in physics or geometry; that therefore the proscribing any citizen as unworthy the public confidence by laying upon him an incapacity of being called to offices of trust and emolument, unless he profess or renounce this or that religious opinion, is depriving him injuriously of those privileges and advantages to which he has a natural right,
@idaman12345 your wrong why try and hurt someone's belief when you want other to respect yours that why alot of ppl don't supporty Gay's they believe that they are not wrong what ever they do and other who support against then are wrong where is the equility in that
@charlietuaau61 how about I respect your belief to believe in any imaginary being you wish, but you don't trample on MY civil rights in return? Sound fair? I promise not to step foot in your church if you allow me to be married to the man I love. I think it's called FREEDOM...
@Nobama0000 the point is that gays shouldn't have to fight for our rights at the ballot box. Marriage shouldn't be a popularity contest. It should be up to the courts and legislatures, as it was decided in EVERY other country who has discussed gay marriage. Voting on civil rights issues is IMMORAL, because the minority ALWAYS loses.
@Nobama0000 and, you should be pretty worried that 45 percent of STRAIGHT voters voted FOR gay marriage in both Maine and California. How in hell could five percent of the population prevail at the ballot box? It's statistically impossible. Thank goodness for the decent straight folks out there who voted FOR gay marriage...
... Okay. I didn't realize that it was my job to get gay marriage passed in a state in a country I don't even live in. Sorry for shirking my responsibilities everyone!
Part IV. and no where they talk about marriage. It is really dumb enough to believe that. We get scared so easily because of new things that might not be normal. I was so mad and disgusted that the yes on 8 people were protesting in front of a school. We teach our kids to not hate but people are spreading the hate. Children are not born with hate or prejudices. It is us who teach them to hate the other person and I think God hates that and is sad to see that we hate other people. Prop 8= Prop H8
Part III. married. Love is unconditional and doesn't see who is straight. I think God loves us for who we are and is too busy to see who we love. He is seeing how much hate we have for one another. He sees that we are at war killing other people who also have families, and the children who are starving in Africa. We should pay attention to those things instead of gay marriage when they are not hurting our lifestyle. It is a lie that they are going to teach it at schools. I work at a school
Part II. While others will want to put them in gay detox camp or religious stuff should they could be changed. You can't decide who you are. Its not like a change of clothes that one day your straight then gay. Who would want to be discriminated, hated, killed. No one but we think its a decision. Also, if our children tell us that they're gay. I would feel bad knowing that because of me they can't get married. Prop 8 should have not been passed but hopefully it will be repealed so people can get
Part 1 My boyfriend and I are straight but we are disappointed with prop 8. We think that everybody should be happy no matter who they are. We believe in equal rights for everyone and we wouldn't want no one to say You straight people can't get married because its not normal. Also what would happen if one of our children happen to be gay themselves. Myself I would accept him and it wouldn't hurt me. For other parents they would be kicked out of their houses.
Women should read the first two pages of the Book of Timothy in The Bible. They should know their place and be obedient to a man. Funny how blacks and hispanics, the ones committing the majority of crime in this nation escape criticism, yet these groups were largely responsible for putting these amendments and Proposals passage in the various states. Get back to me with the statistics on gay crime in America. If anything, gays in America are way too docile.
I sincerely hope you are kidding OS, because I am a complete pacifist but if you really think that way... then you seriously do need to die for the greater good.
Hey, I think that we're in agreement on Prop 8. I would like to suggest, though, that incendiary racist speech is not the way to persuade hateful religionists to cool down. Prop 8 stinks, but it's the fault of a large cross-section of Californians, and the undue influence of evangelicals from across state lines.

@norseczar27 brays, "Gay people suffer a mental problem"
So by your own standards, you are a confirmed homosexual. :)

God obviously disagrees with you; why else would He continue to create gay people? Argue with Him and you'll lose every time.

You really should get help, yes. Start with and education. Learning is not the enemy, I promise.

@norseczar27 so your a norseman? hope you realize gays were very much valued in viking times by the vikings.
scorand 9 months ago
@scorand my understanding is vikings very much despised homosexuals , some would use homosexual rape as a means of breaking someones spirit , but to be accused of being on the receiving side of a homosexual relationship was considered a grave insult
bearsagainstevil 9 months ago
@bearsagainstevil yes to anyone who wasnt one of their own, but for some one who was it was somewhat simular to how native americans saw them as two spirited. at least if i remeber it correctly.. and besides your argument is a strawman argument.. as most acredited psycologists agree there is nothing wrong with gays, there is something wrong with the interpretation of said scriptures and the ideology and mentality behind those interpretations.. even if you arent religous. its the same process

The guy in the video talks about rights, what is the right? To redefine marriage to whatever a group so chooses? Authority issue big time.

GodCreatesGays2 10 months ago
Removing racial marriage bans AFFIRMS marriage by stating that any MAN or WOMAN have the right to marry each other, regardless of race. Same-sex marriage however, REDEFINES marriage. What is more, it is developmentally very different for a child to grow up with a white mother and Asian father, than two mothers or two fathers. Think on that.
sandworm3 11 months ago
Classic case of homosexual agenda comparing apples to oranges. Not the same as a race issue. Race is about unchangeable characteristics. Cannot be an ex-black or ex-hispanic. Ah, but ex-gays exist. Something this movement will try to silence big time. The church should have (or maybe they did) welcomed them in for services. Christ is still in the business of deliverance.
sandworm3 11 months ago
Sandworm3, of course, no sane, educated person believes in the myth of the "ex-gays". They only exist in the minds of the self-deluded, who are so desperate to justify the irrational tenets of their chosen religious lifestyle, that they will go through all sorts of dishonest backflips in order to rationalize their bigotry. "Religious" people did scream blue murder when blacks were allowed to marry other blacks & when interracial marriage became law, because they claimed it redefined marriage too
GodCreatesGays2 10 months ago
@GodCreatesGays2 No myth. I heard a wonderful woman give her testimony. She was the editor of Venus Magazine, a gay activist magazine. She at one point met a Christian woman who shared Christ with her. Had nothing to do with her sexuality. She was delivered from the lifestyle and gave her story at a gay rally. Many others came to her afterward seeking too, that they wanted out. She found her mission field. The Exodus Movement is another group founded by ex-gays.
sandworm3 10 months ago
@sandworm3, of course, the woman in question merely caved in to societal, "religious" pressure in order to fit into a society that routinely bashes, harasses, and condemns gay people. She didn't "stop" being gay, if she really had been a lesbian in the first place. Sexual orientation is innate; believing myths about ex-gays in order to justify a religious lifestyle is a choice.
GodCreatesGays2 10 months ago
@GodCreatesGays2 Please read John 9. The account of a blind man healed. Getting to vs. 13 the investigation takes place. They even question if he was really blind. A true deliverance is always going to be in question in this same manner. It is how the enemy works.
sandworm3 10 months ago
@sandworm3, why read myths and fables written by men, whose stories cause so many of the problems to begin with, when you can just accept God's will directly? The devil corrupts men's eyes, deceiving them through "religious" misinterpretations, but the Lord is never wrong. His decisions are good enough for me.
GodCreatesGays2 10 months ago
@GodCreatesGays2 I don't agree. Sexuality is to be expressed between a man and a woman in the confines of marriage, anythng else, be it gay or straight, is sin, and moreover short circuits our programing for intimacy. Next, You seem to be representing your view as a believer, but deny the scriptures by calling them myths and fables. Sorry but that doesn't work and sums up why you are creating your own order of things astray from a biblical standard.
sandworm3 10 months ago
SW, I understand that the indoctrination of your religious lifestyle has led you to accept certain ideas as truth, and that is fine for you. We all have free will & can choose whom & what to believe. My acknowledging that the Bible's myths hold no sway over me does tend to unnerve & bother those who want to accept the book's supposed veracity, but I'm not asking anyone else to discard the comforting stories they choose to believe in. I'm just saying that I, personally, prefer going with God.
GodCreatesGays2 10 months ago
@GodCreatesGays2 One cannot separate the two. In John, the very beginning is - The Word became flesh. This flesh is Jesus Christ. We don't access God in any other way than through Jesus Christ. Can I ask the question? How do you deal with the person of Jesus Christ?
sandworm3 10 months ago
@sandworm3, again, you are taking your beliefs directly from the Bible, which instructs you believe unquestioningly in its veracity. That is fine for you. I don't disbelief in Christ's existence, but His recorded history, as written, edited, translated, interpreted, etc., by human, fallible men in the Bible, is open to question and interpretation.
GodCreatesGays2 10 months ago
@GodCreatesGays2 It's all about authority. 2 Timothy 3:16 claims all scripture to be God-breathed. God used humans as writers and authors, yes, fallen sinners. He uses us. Something that separates our faith from all others. Absolutely, the bible is open to your questions, and they all get answered. The lens of interpretation is a careful one. Is it black and white? Somethings are, some are not. I believe that with a sincere heart God will reveal truth to the reader.
sandworm3 10 months ago
@GodCreatesGays2 (cont) To understand this book however, one must be born again. How do we do that? Repent of our sins, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. It's all about Calvary. We cannot do anything to right our wrongs. It's all about the cross and the blood. The blood of this man, Jesus. The blood of God. It heals the leper, gives sight to the blind, heals the sick and the dead both physically and spiritually. Believe this, and confess Him as Lord and you will be saved.
sandworm3 10 months ago
@GodCreatesGays2 Christ says, come as you are. We don't clean up or straighten up. With a sincere heart to receive Him by faith, He will make us step by step to be the people He wants us to be. He does the cleaning and straightening. Our heart becomes His home. Grace and Peace.
sandworm3 10 months ago
@sandworm3, yes, the Bible purports that Jesus said many things, much of it may very well be true. As a firm defender of the downtrodden, Jesus would be the first one to fight against inequality and injustice for any of God's children, including the gay ones. Peace out.
GodCreatesGays2 10 months ago
@GodCreatesGays2 Agreed. I am against injustice even if you aren't one of God's children. I approach this through the lens of truth and grace. The truth is that we are all sinners and we are all fallen. The bible being the written authority and the moral order of the way we should live has spoken on these matters. The grace part is, that because we are sinners and fallen, we can't live up to this standard. We have a mediator and that is Jesus Christ. Perfect in our place. (cont.)
sandworm3 10 months ago
@GodCreatesGays2 (cont) If we fail to recognize what we do as sin, how does the mediator represent us with grace and mercy? I think the heart of the problem is placing sexuality as a priority ahead of God. I love the verse from Hebrews 12: "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, let us run with perserverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus."
sandworm3 10 months ago
@sandworm3 writes, "If we fail to recognize what we do as sin, how does the mediator represent us with grace and mercy? I think the heart of the problem is placing sexuality as a priority ahead of God."
Since gay people are no more guilty of 'sin" than straights are in this regard, there's no valid, rational reason why they, and only they, must lose the privilege and rights of marriage, when it's the heterosexual community which is actually responsible for its current, fractured state.
GodCreatesGays2 10 months ago
@GodCreatesGays2 a fractured state is not a reason to water down and redefine the definition. When laws aren't working, legislators try to fix them. We should strengthen marriage, and many are beginninig to do just that. We've been down this road already, but the moral order of things is marriage between a man and a woman. One husband and one wife. All sexual activity outside of marriage is sin, straight or gay. Gay marriage doesn't somehow legitimize the behavior, it's still gay sex.
sandworm3 10 months ago
@sandworm3 if that is the case then religious leaders sholdnt have imposed their interpretations on the scriptures they use to begin with and shouldnt have redefined it as between one man and one woman.. and it was polygime that was the bases for that definition, not gay marriage, but then if you want to strengthen marriage then alowing gay marriage can only do just that..
scorand 9 months ago

@GodCreatesGays2 I will say again, I am no different or better than anyone struggling with homosexuality. All my trash and sin that I allow into my life has been spoken on as well. I turn to Jesus, why? because I acknowledge what I do as an offense to my Holy God, and am weak. In Christ there is great freedom. Not to do as we wish, but to do the things we ought to do and when we fail, He is there, to clean us up, and bring our fall and crawl to a stand, walk, and run again.
sandworm3 10 months ago
@GodCreatesGays2 Just a couple of thoughts... In the created order of things, God created sex. He brought the fire of this wonderful gift. A campfire is good, great actually, when it is contained in the firepit. When my kids make torches and run through the woods, it becomes bad. The order, it is good. To be shared between a man and a woman in the confines of marriage. What the culture suggests, certainly isn't working.
sandworm3 10 months ago
In the order of thing, God created heterosexual sex for str8 people, and gay sex for homosexuals. A wonderful, warming "fire", when shared by consenting adults who love each other & want to share and express intimacy. When heteros need to prove their own fire can burn more brightly than anyone else's, and when they need to torch the village to prove their fire's supposed superiority, it becomes a very, very bad thing. Oppressing God's children, and blaming man's ignorance on Him, isn't working.

@H3dph0wn5 Hey headphones, turn down the volume, your brain's turning to mush.
The point of the constitution is to place a check on the tyranny of the majority; as in, voting to enact laws that discriminate against a minority.
It doesn't matter if the law passes a vote if it fails to meet constitutional standards.
Maybe you should give the headphones a rest a try listening in class when civics is being discussed.

It is IMMORAL to vote on civil rights issues of a minority.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@namasteywhat LOL! This is without doubt the stupidest comment on this thread. Good job! I guess you weren't aware that the California legislature was the very FIRST to pass a gay marriage bill? And, not only did they pass this bill once, but TWICE! He vetoed it twice, cause he's a girly man.

Gays should not have any rights whatsoever. The gay lifestyle is an abomination. God condemns homosexuality. If you are gay and you don't change your ways, you will burn at the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Remember that God loves you, He just hates the sin. Please forsake all of your sins and come unto Christ because he is your Redeemer as well. You can be forgiven! Just need to repent and change your ways!

Case closed...
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 there are LOTS of gay people in your cult. Many of them are in "fake" heterosexual relationships. Do you consider them to be living a "gay lifestyle" despite the fact that they have no sexual contact with persons of the same sex, and yet ARE gay people?
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 could you also describe the "male" lifestyle?" Or, "Asian lifestyle?"
lisztnut 1 year ago
@lisztnut The male lifestyle is the same as the Asian style. However, the gay male lifestyle is different than any straight man. The gay male is attracted to the same gender and so the way they live is completely different? Ok why did you ask that? Are you stupid or something. Are you stupid to think that being gay is the same as being straight?
crxracer805 1 year ago
@crxracer805 Oh, I see, so I come home to my husband every evening, we have dinner together. We take our vacations together, and, just like other straight couples, we don't have children by CHOICE. Now, tell me how this is a different lifestyle than a straight married couples.... I'll be waiting for your reply... There is only ONE difference, and that is our gender is the same. That is the ONLY difference, otherwise our lifestyle is IDENTICAL.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@lisztnut Of course the world views the LDS church as a cult. Don't you think I know that? It's because the Church is true, I know it is and I know that we have high standards and the Church does not have control over us. We have our agency to choose. We hold marriage between a man and a woman sacred, and it is ordained of God. I'm sorry that you are going against God's laws and you can't seem to recognize that you live a life full of sin and filth which is an abomination in the eyes of God
crxracer805 1 year ago
@crxracer805 Oh, you have SO much to learn. Where can I begin? Marriage is a LEGAL contract between TWO adults and their government. The "blessings' of your imaginary friend mean nothing to me, and they should get NO legal recognition. In France, ALL weddings are civil and EVERY couple marries at city hall. That's as it should be. If a French couple wants to have a "religious" ceremony, it's their business, but the government won't validate it. Separation of church/state.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 didn't you know that marriage was a Pagan ritual that the early Christians STOLE? There was NO "creation" of marriage by your heavenly father. You clearly know nothing about this history of marriage.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 you should wonder why your cult was forced to flee the Eastern US and set up your Utah compound. You were chased out for a reason.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 look, I don't hate you or think you are a bad person for belonging to any religion. However, I draw the line when you force these beliefs into MY government. I don't care if you believe in Santa, just don't force this on the rest of society. If Atheists can marry in this country, which they DO, then you CANNOT use religion as a reason to deny gays and lesbians the same LEGAL benefit, can you?
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 do you think Atheists should be denied marriage rights? What would prevent a straight Atheist couple from suing the LDS to marry in their temples?
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 , It's quite obvious you are mincing politics with your religious views. While a minority seems to be able to abstain from that, you are clearly in the majority. Plus your views on WHY people look at the LDS church as a cult are just silly. They say it's a cult because what the church says is true? What kind of logic is that? I live in Salt Lake and know just as many scumbags that are Mormons as nice folk.
hoboboxerjoe 1 year ago
@crxracer805, My mother who is Mormon even admitted to me that if I'm going to use logic and reason I'm going to win against her in a theological debate. She is practically a scholar for your church and even she knows that the lack of archelogical evidence and the way the Book of Mormon was translated is highly suspicious at best.
hoboboxerjoe 1 year ago
@crxracer805 as a matter of fact we are using our state joint tax refund for our vacation this year, just like many straight couples who are married. If you described our "lifestyle" in great detail and left out the fact that we are of the same gender, it would be impossible to tell us apart from a straight couple. Our lives are VERY much the same. In fact, we have a straight couple as our closest friends. Their lifestyle is the SAME, and they are also childless by CHOICE.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 we happen to live in a big city, by choice, too, and this is also something we share in common with many straight married couples.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 oh, there is one major difference in our marriage and that of our straight friends. We have BETTER sex. WAY better sex, as a matter of fact. It's a simple matter of anatomy 101. People of the same gender generally have better sex, because only someone with the same body parts can please their partners sexually.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 And, I think this is something that shows up a lot when religious homophobes such as yourself discuss the "gay lifestyle." You have heard about our wonderful sex lives. Well, the myth is TRUE!
lisztnut 1 year ago
@lisztnut I thought you were a woman all this time. Hmmn you're a guy. Dude that is gross, I don't want to hear about your disgustingness. If you're so educated why the heck do you waste your time on here for a while? I'm done arguing. I'm not going to convince you, nor are you going to convince me. So do as you please and suffer the consequences in this life or in the life to come. Have a goodnight
crxracer805 1 year ago
@crxracer805 Yes, I'm male, and proud of it. My husband is ALSO male, and we have a GREAT sex life, which I bet you're dying to hear about, aren't you?

@crxracer805 it is NOT a waste of time to help someone get "free" of a religious cult. If I can help one person get out of the LDS cult, I have not wasted my time...
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 my husband works for a university, just as I do. So, our "lifestyle" is very similar, as is our schedule. We have the freedom and ability to travel a lot because we have no kids to worry about, and are on an academic calendar.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 by the way, when I get done educating you, you can kindly send me some tuition... I know you Mor(m)ons are taught some pretty terrible things about gays. How do I know? My spouse's ex-partner was a Mor(m)on who left the church, divorced his wife, and was able to live openly as the gay man he was born to be. He eventually went into gay porn...
lisztnut 1 year ago
@lisztnut Thanks for that list of websites you gave me, I checked them out. Nothing but filth and lies. I feel sorry for those Church members who felled away...that is just wrong. Anyway I'm out, I'm not going to waste my time on this. I got better things to do
crxracer805 1 year ago
@crxracer805 fine, continue to live a life of denial, or learn the TRUTH about your cult. The choice is yours.... And, one word of advice, next time a gay right's issue comes up again, you'd better think twice about supporting the opposing viewpoint. You see Prop 8 has the potential to give gay marriage to the NATION. That's because it violated the US Constitution and WILL be overturned in court. It means that gay couples in UTAH will marry because of Prop 8! Cool, huh?
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 I guess you never wondered why employees lump race, gender and sexual orientation into the SAME category when you apply for a job? Why do they say this:
We do not discriminate based on gender, race or sexual orientation.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 nobody chooses their sexual orientation, and nobody (not even your imaginary friend, the heavenly father) can CHANGE their orientation. The ONLY thing you can change is your sexual behavior, but your orientation remains FIXED for life.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@lisztnut First of all God does exist. If you say that God doesn't exist you're basically saying that there was no creation. If there was no creation, then we don't exist. Hmmm you're mental. Second the gay lifestyle is just being gay, being attracted to the same sex. Third, Gay people DO NOT live the same lifestyle as straight people do...are you kidding me? Stop living in SIN, REPENT, REPENT!!! REPENT!!! AND FORSAKE THE WICKED LIFESTYLE THAT SATAN WANTS YOU LIVE.
crxracer805 1 year ago
@crxracer805 no, god does NOT exist. Give it up. You are an adult now, it is time to GROW UP, and realize that god was created by men. There is NO creation, because there is NO creator. OK, so what about the man I know personally who does NOT have sex with other men, and yet identifies as a gay male? What is his lifestyle? He's married to a woman. Tell me how his lifestyle is gay. And, YES, I am legally MARRIED to ONE person who is of the same sex.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 I have been on every continent except Antarctica, and I can tell you unequivocally that each culture CREATED a god in their image. You have done missionary work in ONE country. What experience of the world do YOU have?
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 your so-called "religion" was concocted by Joe Smith around 1830. Do you mean to tell me that it is the one and only true religion? Other Christians do not even consider your cult to be Christian.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 see the problem with you brainwashed religious nuts is that you can't rap your brain around the FACT that some people are BORN gay and others are born straight. There is NO lifestyle that will adequately define all gay people, nor is there a "lifestyle" that defines all straights. You religious people started using that word in relation to gays in order to dengrate us, and make is sound like being gay is a choice.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 I can tell you that I've had a BETTER life because I was gay. Here's why:
1 Gays earn more money than straights per capita
2 Gays have higher education per capita than straights
3 Gays travel more than straights
4 Gays have BETTER sex MORE often than straights Now, who wouldn't want to be gay, given those facts?
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 being gay isn't any more of a sin or moral issue than being Asian or female. They are one and the same. Sexual orientation is identical to race and gender. They are INNATE and IMMUTABLE characteristics.

A lot of gays will be leaving their friend's behind when they join the military, now that Don't Ask, Don't Tell is being repealed. Jest sayin'.

@namasteywhat yes, thank god for Prop 8, it will likely give gay marriage to the NATION! Just think, gay couples in Utah can marry cause of Prop 8! Can't WAIT... It's on its way to being invalidated by SCOTUS as we speak...
lisztnut 1 year ago
Interesting...but, when some Christians ventured into a "gay area" in San Francisco, they were run out, cursed at and police had to be called to control the hate mob...NOT the Christians..the "gay" but, not happy people. Who are the haters??
djosings 1 year ago
@djosings you don't understand this story at all (what's new?). Imagine a gay group coming into your church and kissing and making out in front of your congregation. Would you welcome that group openly, or ask them to leave? The Christian group was politely ASKED to leave. They didn't, and they kept insisting on preaching AGAINST homosexuality right in front of some gay bars. This was OFFENSIVE, and I wish I'd been there, as I would have joined in on chasing them out of our neighborhood.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@djosings I bet you've also heard about the old woman who had her cross brutally yanked out of her hand by some out of control gay people? Knowing you as I do, I would imagine you are a regular viewer of FOX news. Let me tell you the TRUE story about that old woman. She staged that whole scene. She called a local news station and told them to meet her at this rally. She forced her way into the crowd, and virtually BEGGED them to respond as they did. She's a FRAUD...
lisztnut 1 year ago
@djosings you see how news stories get twisted around to support an agenda? There were also many stories about Prop 8 signs getting stolen out of people's yards. Well, the TRUTH is that it went both ways, and in fact San Diego's mayor had his NO on Prop 8 sign stolen and his yard vandalized by some anti-gay marriage folks. And, I ask you which is worse, losing your sign or your civil rights?
lisztnut 1 year ago
@djosings I think I'd rather lose my lawn sign than my civil rights. Some time I'll explain to you what it feels like to LOSE your civil rights. You wouldn't have a CLUE...

FlyinSpaghettiMnstr7 1 year ago
@FlyinSpaghettiMnstr7 Oh, sorry, and thanks for correcting me. Have you seen this youtube video:
Atheist Statistics 2008
It will give you a lot of pleasure knowing that Atheism is BETTER for society than religion.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@charlietuaau61 actually, you are half correct. God didn't create Adam and Eve either. In fact, god created NOTHING. Man created god, not vice versa. And, mankind was on earth (documented) 1.4 MILLION years BEFORE the Adam and Eve myth. And, let me guess, you believe Eve talked to a snake and this place a curse on all humanity unless we believe in an imaginary being. Is that right?
lisztnut 1 year ago
@charlietuaau61 and, correction, it will soon be possible for two women to procreate. Researchers in Britain are working on a procedure to inseminate one woman's egg with another woman's stem cell. And, frankly I don't give a fuck because I'm a gay male and have NO interest in procreating. My purpose in life is FAR higher than reproducing myself...
lisztnut 1 year ago
@charlietuaau61 since you are in need of education about your OWN bible and what is says about homosexuality, I recommend this youtube video:
The Bible Told Me So (in ten parts) You will learn why you are WRONG when you use your bible to condemn homosexuality.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@charlietuaau61 and, whose to say that gays can't have children? That's nonsense. I suppose you think that infertile straight couples and senior citizens ought to be forbidden from marrying too, since you view procreation as the only purpose of marriage? But, something tells me you are a hypocrite in this regard.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@lisztnut stop trying to put words in my....and are infertile staight couples gay no.....or senior citizens gay no.....I am not against them but agaisnt gay marriage and if you don't know don't call me a hypocrite
charlietuaau61 1 year ago
@charlietuaau61 I see, so your ONLY reason to oppose gay marraige is cause you don't like gays, is that correct? How very enlightened of you... NOT! What an idtiot you are. But, at least you are honest. Prop 8 was NOT about anything BUT bigotry against gays, at least you admit it. Those against gay marriage thought up all sorts of LAME reasons, without admitting their true reason: they HATE fags!
lisztnut 1 year ago
@lisztnut again putting words in my mouth.....where did I say i didn't like gay people where.....I said I was agaisnt gay marriage and I have that right to say that.....so the problem with people like you is you want to fight others who have other beliefs or opinions thats not the same as yours....
charlietuaau61 1 year ago
@charlietuaau61 You clearly don't understand anything. My stance is that it is IRRELEVANT what the public says about gay marriage. It shouldn't be up to the majority of voters, 95 percent of whom are straight, to decide whether 5 percent of the population (gay people) should be allowed to marry. This decision should be decided in courts and legislatures, as was done in EVERY country EXCEPT the USA. The majority has NO right to dicate civil rights issues to the minority. It is IMMORAL.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@charlietuaau61 Don't like gay marriage? Then don't marry someone of the same sex. Simple, isn't it?
lisztnut 1 year ago
@charlietuaau61 see, it's called "FREEDOM.' That means if I happen to be gay, then I should be afforded the FREEDOM to marry who I love, and not who YOU think I should love. Got it?
lisztnut 1 year ago
@lisztnut wtf no.....Freedom huh what about Laws and Rules that this country was build under the very fabrics of the country was build around christianity and to make life better the it was in England get you facts straight
charlietuaau61 1 year ago
@charlietuaau61 LOL! Clearly you know NOTHING. Our founding fathers were mostly DEISTS. In fact, many of them were AGAINST Christianity. Thomas Paine said: The Christian bible is a FRAUD which insults god. Thomas Jefferson: I can find NO redeeming factor to the superstition known as Christianity. Our country was founding on SEPARATION of church and state, until you idiots started bringing god back into government. Get god OUT of government.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@lisztnut Actually our Founding Fathers were Christians and this country was founded by God himself in order to prepare it for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be restored in America
crxracer805 1 year ago
@crxracer805 I hope you are joking. You seem to know very little about the history of America. Is this perhaps because you are an immigrant? The people who came to our shores to form our country were ESCAPING a government which was ruled by one religion. They were adamant that we not repeat the same mistake here. That's why many of our early leaders were AGAINST god in government.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 too many Christians, not enough lions...
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 Thomas Jefferson said: our civil rights have no dependance on our religious opinions, any more than our opinions in physics or geometry; that therefore the proscribing any citizen as unworthy the public confidence by laying upon him an incapacity of being called to offices of trust and emolument, unless he profess or renounce this or that religious opinion, is depriving him injuriously of those privileges and advantages to which he has a natural right,
lisztnut 1 year ago
@crxracer805 since you're not smart enough to understand what Jefferson said, I'll translate it for you: Keep YOUR god out of MY government.
Thomas Jefferson was one of my great-grandfathers, and he was VERY anti-Christian. You probably didn't learn about this in school.

@Nobama0000 the point is that gays shouldn't have to fight for our rights at the ballot box. Marriage shouldn't be a popularity contest. It should be up to the courts and legislatures, as it was decided in EVERY other country who has discussed gay marriage. Voting on civil rights issues is IMMORAL, because the minority ALWAYS loses.
lisztnut 1 year ago
@Nobama0000 and, you should be pretty worried that 45 percent of STRAIGHT voters voted FOR gay marriage in both Maine and California. How in hell could five percent of the population prevail at the ballot box? It's statistically impossible. Thank goodness for the decent straight folks out there who voted FOR gay marriage...
lisztnut 1 year ago

Part IV. and no where they talk about marriage.
JoyceBMR 2 years ago 3
Part III.
