If 100 people called into 911 reporting a sighting of a foreign military jet you can bet there'd be an official investigation and the next aircraft seen in the area would be US fighters. But when a UFO is reported by 100's of people at the same time, no calls for jets, no official investigation and usually never more than an "It was an air show" response. Why? They then left at over 7000 miles per hour.
