The MIVV doesn't seem all that much louder than stock, at least the with dB killer in. Just seems to give it a lot more character.. greater range of sound frequencies. Sounds great, dude. Nice work. Thanks for the video.
I did a custom "open tuneable" pipe. (loud!) 2.5 to 1.5 reducer on 4 to one(stock header) gut cat-verter. cut 1.5 side ten, 2cm slots, 1 cm wide. attach a 1.5 in Tailpipe (paint black for sw arm) Tune it by bendind the slots into the exhaust stream(more= more backpress, more bottomend pwr or leave open for top end pwr. tune by bending diff # of strips. Works like supertrapp system
I got 'em bent in for gobbs of bottom to mid rnge pwr. Good drivability in city trffk. Don't get into a race in this config, U will be humiliated. no top end pwr. Open 'em up if you want yer FZ 's front wheel to stay airborne as you pin the tack thru all 6 gears.
That Russian blood coarsing thru my vains, (My life sucked in the U.S. since I came here @ 2 yrs old) I should've stayed there (LOL) Gimmy a beer can and some duct tape.(exageration) and This loser in the gene pool can make anything(lol) Russkies are smart. while U.S. gangsters eat pasta and play bochieball, the russian mobs slam vodka while playing chess

Nice work bud. I have an 08 FZ1 and just put on an Akrapovic exhaust and never knew how bad the stock exhaust really sounded.
Thanks for the hard work, I bet it took a while to change out all three.

The last one, the MIVV w/o DB killer sounds GREAT!! Nice job bro.

i think the original exhaust is the best ;). its the second one. others are like shit...

Exactly, this should be mandatory for anyone who installs exhaust on their bike.

This is so helpful to have all these clips done with the same recording equipment in similar acoustical conditions. Nice pipe!
