I had about 6 years of wakeboarding, snowboarding, windsurfing and about 12 years experience occasionally flying 2 line stunt kites. when started though ;-)
I found reading tips online and actually pushing myself to try new stuff to be the biggest factors in progressing quickly.
hi m8 i am 16 and i am 9 st what wind speed are you meant to fly Cabrinha 12m CO2 would i need a kite leash and where do you attach it i have seen many kiters use them but i have never thought of getting one but will i need one if i am going to learn and also would i need to get a smaller kite and could you recommend a size
also what a great film better than most on you tube you are far the best on hear and also you have a great head cam better video quality than most videos on hear
I haven't flown a Cabrinha CO2 before so I can't really comment on its windrange. I think the CO2 is a C-kite which is not the most beginner friendly kite. I would recommend picking up a trainer kite or taking a lesson as your first step.
Kite leashes are a must have. board leashes are the things you want to avoid using. they can cause the board to recoil back and hit you causing serious injury.
thanks for the quick response i have booked up for lessons and considering to sell my big kite to fund the smaller one thank you for them tips on the board leash as i don't fancy getting killed that way keep up the good work looking forward to your up and coming films i would rate 100% you but i cant find how to do it
as for my future videos. you'll have to find them on vimeo's site. youtube is a royal pain for adding music so I have opted to switch to an easier to upload site

I was wondering if you could help me decide on which speed to get...
im 175lbs, i want a light wind weapon. i alread kite with a 12m LEI. But i need atleast a steady 15mph wind and size 140 board to stay up wind.
Should i get the 19 or is the 15 enough? (8-13mph wind)
