Rey said on his story even though hes not in luchador wrestling, he wrestles under a luchador contract which means someone cant just take his mask off and show his face unless he loses. He said Eddie Guerrro was supposed to take his mask off when they had fued but eddie refused cause they was close friends like that

in mexico, luchadores lose masks all the time in cabellera - hair - vs mascara - masks matches. Rey when he gave that interview was on character. Even because in WCW Eddie was one of the guys that encouraged him to take the mask off. And it was a good thing. Believe it or not, Rey went to places he hadnt been before after losing his mask in wcw.

He was always entertaining during his face run, and some of the best promos youll get are jericho with the rock, and jericho and stephanie. Jericho like others has put his body on the line for so many years for that company every single night.
