12 people dont have a damn clue that thumbs down this video. chances are those 12 are 12 angry men that realized " damn I VOTED FOR THE WRONG GUY " lol and are jealous of that fact.
I love Ron Paul and I love what Ron Paul stands for; his decency and sincerity and I'm not even American. I can't believe that Americans didn't even consider him for office beyond the primaries. He was the star of the debates and he clearly had the only voice of true change. If I were American, you couldn't even drag me into voting for someone else. Too bad Americans fell for the same trap-they forgot 8 years ago, Bush Jr also promised change.
This road trip by Tucker was his turning point. Prior this, he used to always couch his support with a negative that undermined all he previously said. After this trip, and meeting these folk, and spending a lot of time with Dr Paul, he became a full on convert. If that hasn't happened to you yet, please keep researching him, and find out for themselves why his followers are so passionate.
I LOVE Ron Paul. But the media knows what a lot of Americans don't. It has nothing to do with votes. It has to do with bloodlines and familys. And according to this concept, Hillary WILL be the next president of the United States. I STRONGLY hope I am wrong. But remember my words when she is being sworn in. Masons run the world...
He certainly can say it, it's his right. I understand him expressing his skepticism does not help the campaign, but I also understand his skepticism about Ron Paul's chances for success. Just because Paul is the best candidate does not mean he'll win.
Possibly, but not getting your own hopes up and dashing everyone elses are two different things. And I don't see any reason for him to keep asserting that ron paul supporters don't know what hes about. I don't know any RP supporters who don't know what hes about. I really don't understand why 80% of what he says about RP is negative and then he claims to support him.
I also don't like how he keeps asking him who he would vote for if he doesn't win and if hell be switching to the libertarian party, HES ALREADY ANSWERED THAT MANY TIMES IN YOUR INTERVIEWS YOU DOUCHE.
Everybody else is saying it, yet you guys rip on the guy that is all about Ron Paul. Tucker voted for Ron Paul 19 years before you even knew who he was.
No not everybody is saying it, and I rip on the few other so called journalists who are saying it just as much and that stupid woman on the view also. It's bully propaganda as I said before it makes people believe their vote is wasted on him, which is wrong. Cut and dry.
Who isn't saying it? While I want Paul to be a frontrunner, he isn't. But the NH primary could change that. But still, just because Tucker points out the obvious, he isn't like that bitch on the View that told him he won't win. There's a big difference between calling him a guy that has no chance vs a non-frontrunner.
No Tucker has stated flat out, you're not going to win, as though it was a fact. Want me to find the video link? And it's not a FACT until people have voted, thx.
And you know besides flat out saying he wont win which I'm still looking for the second time he said it. In nearly every video where hes talking about ron paul and not directly to him he insinuates that people who support ron paul don't really know what hes all about. Which is horse shit, I haven't met a ron paul supporter yet who doesn't know nearly all of his ideas. Hes anti ron paul in about 80% of everything he says about him. Pretty odd coming from a supposed supporter.
CFrostyTheSnowman you're exactly right about Tucker Carlson. He's an A1 corporate whore and propagandist for the Neocons. He definitely does NOT want Ron Paul elected and he's just playing mind games with Ron Paul supporters. I'm actually surprised so many of these people fell for this act.
Gawd if you had told me last year that I would agree with Tucker Carlson on ANYTHING I would have thought you mad. Now here I am registering a Republican (from Independent) and voting for Ron Paul!
olbermann tells it like it is. he may be a liberal but he's still american and thats his right. I dont agree with his politics for the most part but i respect what he has to say. He's not a talking head. he actually has a respect for journalism. Apparently so does tucker
you are full of it. when the government prints money it falls in value. it is that simple. you can put away your supply and demand charts and crazy math formulas. the us gov could not afford the "war on terror", which is costing almost a billion dollars a day, with direct taxation. they would have had to take on average 3000 dollars from every american. so instead they print money. nuff said.
You can't pay attention to the Supply side and not the Demand! With scarce money supply interest rates trend up, capital investment becomes too costly, unemployment rises! Therefor, a growing economy needs a money supply that can keep up with its production! We are not paying an inflation tax, we are paying a deficit interest rate (T-Bonds). They don't just "print the money", they balance assets and liabilities. The key here is deficit spending, which the fed has NO control over.
after watching all 5 parts i think it's only the smart, progressive people that get ron paul. and like tucker said, the masses want big gov't to give them free stuff. they dont have the time or capacity to understand ron paul's message, they are living in the now and not thinking about the future. there is not enuff time in the msm to give all his positions, and avg ppl are too lazy/uncaring to research on their own.
Keep talking to with your family and friends. Get them to realize that there is an honest politician out there, offering real hope for Americas future. KEEP PROMOTING RON PAUL EVERYONE!
If we, as a group truly want to get him elected, then we need to stand the mainstream media, while despising them. Like it or not, exposure to the silent majority via the media is how he will get elected.
Ron Paul needs to check his rhetoric about the Fed. There are plenty of economists who could school him, unfortunately many people have been led to believe that the valuation of the dollar is solely dependent on the money supply (as if the supply of money in it's competing currency's respective countries is not increasing) and inflation, which going to the "gold standard" will do nothing to stop.
The Federal Reserve System is privately owned, and they tell the United States Department of the Treasury how much money to print and when to print it. The money supply is totally in control of 12 families 3 of which are Jewish. There is a provision in the founding of the Federal Reserve that allows the United States to opt out for $2 Billion, which was a lot of money in 1913.
Privately owned is a sorry characterization. The member banks have a vested interest in seeing the fed balance its books, as they own non negotiable, unsellable shares of stock at a fixed dividend. They elect 6 of the 9 reserve banks' directors, however, their mandate is immutable and Chairman nominated by Pres and Confirmed by senate. Essentially, this is the Supreme Court of the Economy. Can you imagine if we had politicians voting on reserve cuts and money supply?
Can you imagine if we had politicians voting on reserve cuts and money supply? Every blip bubble and shut-down factory would get a reaction. As far the jews, i'm not sure where you're going with that, but i'll fall short of calling you an anti-semite, since everytime i criticize our relationship with Israel i am called decried as "racist" rather than, perhaps, "thoughtful" Oh, America...the work in progress.
hey moron, do you even understand how the fed work? obviously not. Ron Paul is an Austrian economics scholar, he has written ten books on the U.S economy and government, and won the Groseclose Award for Leadership and Monetary Writing. And just recntly Steve Forbes endorsed his plan to challenge the federal reserve...........do some research, unless you just like repeating fox news talking points...
If you are going to intellectually debate a topic you must... how do I put this.. debate intelligently? Try bringing up viable assertions as opposed to blanket statements.
I just said that the valuation of the dollar has more to do with demand for foreign investments, rapid industrialization in developing foreign economies, cost of capital in those currencies, and their productivity, all while the money supply in those countries is increasing at a faster rate. I like Ron Paul, but he doesn't have a formal education in economics. He rails on the fed for anything he can think of, but the solution to his woes of deficit spending is to BALANCE THE BUDGET.
Divide and conquer! Look at the responses and Ron Paul is a Libertarian with the resolve to understand he has to be one or the other. Don't label others we are all Americans and all hate BUSH.
I belong to the local Ron Paul group. I intend to vote for him, it just disgusts me that hes a Republican. Why would he even want to be associated with such scum.
Ron Paul is a constitutionalist and sometimes he is the only no vote on some bills this is due to the fact that he believes that it is your money that he is voting for, most congress people vote to spend money like drunken sailors. I am a Republican and I have donated money to Ron Paul and will vote for him. The United States is broke we cannot aford to fight a war. I am tired of Government being in control of my life. Vote for freedom by voting for Ron Paul.
"We The People" want to say no to the! Real ID card, No! Too the North American Union, No! And we want too take back our money from the Fed Bank, and get out of the IMF and World Banks. Will Hilary do this? Not! Only Ron Paul
Your very welcome. Just trying too help us learn is one of my goals. My other goal is to give the world a gift, that will change the way everyone lives, just like Nikola Tesla.
The one thing that most people are missing the point is this, America will be a thing of the past by 2010 when the NAU takes into effect. Keep focused "We The People" for we are loseing America. Google "Money Masters" and the THE EMPIRE OF "THE CITY" (World Superstate) part 1& 2 too learn more. After you will see Ron Paul is helpfull.
Correct me if I am wrong, but here is where Ron Paul stands on foreign policy. Leave Iraq by August 2009, Afghanistan in 2010or 2011, the Arabian Peninsula in 2010 or 2011, and South Korea by 2011 or 2012.
I haven't hear him belittle him at all. In fact, I have heard him say he really likes paul and supports his ideas, but he doesn't think the American people as a whole will.
A very good point, it's pretty difficult for a movement whose message is "think for yourself, be free & responsable..." to spread it's message with proper grammar.
I think its great that Tucker is going out there mingling with supporters. He may flip flop on tv about his support, but he is taking real steps trying to find out what is going on and for that I give him credit. Credit where its due.
Actually keep watching part 2, Tucker appears to be showing some geniune interest and it was good that he encountered intelligent Ron Paul supporters who I think gave him some really good leads. Of course it remains to be seen in what form it gets spat back out in the MSM.
I saw the whole thing all parts and he is just getting information from the crowd. I think he thinks some of them are nuts. Some of them reminded me of Jack Lemon at the end of The China Syndrome when we know he is right, but comes off like a crazy person. if you have seen the movie you know what I am talking about.
He definately does look uncomfortable, I think he's trying to not give away too much about what he really thinks of some things a TV pundit isn't allowed to agree with (or is that naive?)
He says what eh believes. I have never seen Tucker not say what he believes. But let's be honest here. Do you really think he is going to get himself into a heavy debate with some of these people? Like I said above, some of them come across like Jack Lemon in China Syndrome, right but crazy.
Let's not make any undue judgments on Tucker's support of Ron Paul. He was there collecting other people's opinions to be used in an article he was being paid quite nicely for. Well at least he was there.
I wish someone would ask Tucker why the fuck he's so passive aggressive about Ron Paul and the people who support him. He's like a petulant child who liked something before it became faddish and can't stand that it has become popular somewhere down the line from his early adopter status.
yeah, I think he's kinda confused "How can I support Ron Paul and keep in Journalism Business....shit, why me....my career was just getting started......Puck, Puck, Puck me"...
Passive Aggressive sure is becoming a popular phrase, but not entirely inapropriate for Tucker here. I get the impression he likes pushing the slightly contrarian position with anyone he's talking to whether he agrees with them or not, at least that's what I gleaned watching him on Real Time w Bill Maher.

That's a very astute observation. Hopefully some people will go rent the movie.

Yeah, but he keeps asking questions, so maybe he WAS interested.

Or maybe just polite, I have to agree with some people here, he looks like "please get me out of this".

Tucker actually supports Ron Paul. ;)

Let's not make any undue judgments on Tucker's support of Ron Paul. He was there collecting other people's opinions to be used in an article he was being paid quite nicely for. Well at least he was there.

I think Tucker gets a ridiculous reaction from Paul fans, like he's lumped in with every other TV pundit. Not all shills are created equally.

I wish someone would ask Tucker why the fuck he's so passive aggressive about Ron Paul and the people who support him. He's like a petulant child who liked something before it became faddish and can't stand that it has become popular somewhere down the line from his early adopter status.

I think he's trying to keep his job.
rpforliberty2008 4 years ago 4
yeah, I think he's kinda confused "How can I support Ron Paul and keep in Journalism Business....shit, why me....my career was just getting started......Puck, Puck, Puck me"...
UnderseaCaveman 4 years ago 6
Passive Aggressive sure is becoming a popular phrase, but not entirely inapropriate for Tucker here. I get the impression he likes pushing the slightly contrarian position with anyone he's talking to whether he agrees with them or not, at least that's what I gleaned watching him on Real Time w Bill Maher.
