LOL dude, I totally understand where you're coming from. The sad thing is that I don't understand why people think ASOP is such a bad album, the music is really good. The only thing I can see them complain is Anders' vocal.. but pretty much overall really good. Listen to the riffs closely and it's freakin' brilliant.

But then SoAPF isn't that bad either, you just have to let the album in and it's pretty damn good on it's own right.

@killeroforce Not really. It is wrong to classify the "new" In Flames as death metal, if you want "pure" melodic death metal, try looking at their earlier albums, such as "The Jester Race". Don't get me wrong, I love In Flames, even their new stuff, although I must say their stuff from the 90s is a little more impressive.

@mele1408 Still, In Flames founded what is today known as Melodic Death Metal. Back in the day, people called it "Göteborg Metal" or something like that. Regardless of what it is today, and frankly I don't give a toss, In Flames are still among my favourite bands. Not THE favourite, but my library certainly would be missing a chunk without them.

I'll repeat what everyone else has already said, only with less swearing: "Great song!"

I enjoy the acoustic part of the song too. It's amazing, not saying that it was spoiled with the rest, it's a great song as is, but a whole acoustic song revolving around the solo + this acoustic intro would be amazing.
