when i log into gts i dont recieve the pokemon, it just defaults to seek, deposit or quit. ive got the right ip adress entered, its just that nothing happens when i enter the gts? anybody know what the problem is?

When it closes immiadetly, just close Skype and other programs you run at the moment. When u should be good.if u get a code error again by entering the GTS, don´t care and try again, sometimes it can tike about 2-3 runs.

The reason why it 'closes' is because you need to extract it somewhere first. :B

solved my problem since i cant drag my pkm file i just type it in so if you have it in the Pokemon folder here is what you do to put in 'Pokemon/whatever the name of the pokemon or file then .pkm' so it should look something like this 'Pokemon/charizard.pkm'

Run the program through cmd by searching for cmd in your computer's start menu. When the command prompt pops up, type in the program's file location on your computer (should be something like D:\Programs\IR-GTS-BW\ir-gts-b­w.py) and press enter. Then, the program will not close after displaying the error and you will be able to read it. Also, try closing programs like Skype & Steam, as those sometimes cause errors in IR-GTS-BW. Hope this helps. :)

@UniqueBeastz ok, this is how i got mine to work: close everthing, including skype. make sure you right click on the skype icon and hit quit skype, otherwise it is not off. try opening the file. if that doesnt work go to control panel, click on uninstall a program, find python 2.7, DO NOT UNINSTALL. at the top, there should be an option to uninstall, change, repair. click repair. after it finishes, try to open the py file. if none of that works, restart your computer and try again to open it.

okay if you are trying to open ir gts bw and it closes really fast, all you need to do is extract (take out) all the files in the zip file into open space. Then, create a pokemon.

(by sending or by typing) Is dragging is not working, send it to your C drive and type in

C:\Thenameofyourpkmfile.pkm then it should say sending or something

I dont know what to do if it says invalid filesize ### bytes ill try to find out though

For the people having connection issues make sure you have Port 80 and Port 53 Forwarded on your router other wise you will keep trying this and never make it work.

52010 = Keep trying, nothing is wrong with your connection. I get this sometimes, ignore it and press Yes to connect again at the menu

It does work, I have a DSi XL :D. Tried it recently and works just fine. If you read the Readme section for the software you will realize any Pokemon under GenV does not work unless it's altered using PokeSav. Like shown in the video read what the program prompts you to do.

@iYasseni When you set up the DNS from the advanced settings, say no to connection test. Allow Python through your firewall on your computer and then it should work. Did an error code come up? That would help me to help you.

ok another strange problem. I sent a Gigalith from my game to my pc, edited it in Pokesav, and sent it back. However, i received an egg???? I'm sure the egg is probably a "bad egg" and is most likely going to screw up my game so i just threw it in a box so it doesnt hatch. any idea what may have gone wrong? i overwrote the pkm file i got from transferring from game to pc. could that be what screwed it up?

Hey I'm having trouble with this. I've been tryign sinc elast night and no luck. I did EXACTLY what this video shows, and I also followed the notepad instructions and tried several times. Once I've changed my primary DNS to the DNS given to me by ir-gts-bw, it always shows a connection error (52100). Could it be my router is blocking something? or a firewall somewhere? any tips on how to fix this?

I tried to do it manually instead of dragging the pkm file by typing in the location, but then it just exits out of that black box where you're suppose to drag the pkm file. It does let me receive pokemon from my DS though...

The only way I know of recoding DS would be to use an emulator, but that wouldn't be appropriate in this case. (as emulators can't use wifi(i think)).
