killing off brain cells... and getting a "warm fuzzy feeling" .... huh... kinda like getting pissed then... retards that do this should just resort to drinking lots and lots of alcahol :D
Also, the graphic shows blood flowing up the right left, then down the right. That's pretty silly. Anyone who's taken anatomy knows that's not how it works. CMCD202, your intentions are good, but you're spreading misinformation, and making yourself look absolutely retarded.
The GASP association that produced this video has done tremendous intervention work. At an anatomical/physiological level GASP has strived to be accurate. I believe your intentions are good also. However, wouldn't you agree that the more egregious error is in the misinformation spread here at YouTube depicting this activity as some type of fun "passing out game"? I welcome your post of video/ animation depicting physiological/anatomical response to hypoxia.
Brain cells dying from too much blood? That doesn't make sense. This video isn't very clear. Are there any experts behind it? I thought the brain cells died when they were deprived of oxygen, and then only if the deprivation lasted about 4 minutes. There are too many amature scientists clogging up the space making it hard ro find reliable data.
Blood carries oxygen to the brain. Oxygen deprivation is accomplished in this case by manual or mechanical strangulation. The rush of oxygenated blood flow back into the brain when the ligature or pressure is removed causes vascular damage due to increased pressure. Cells in the brain die at any level of reduced oxygen. You are making reference to brain death which can occur in as few as 4 minutes. If you wish to view recent scientific medical journal publications I can provide those.
@CMCD2020 Please point to one scientific study that has shown the "vascular damage due to increased pressure" that you claim. Where did you learn that that is what happens?
@RobertJohnReport it was pretty clear to me, he said when the brain doesnt get oxygen and does not get any blood, the cells start to die. plain and simple
@RobertJohnReport also, when the cells are deprived of oxigen they make free radical )like poison for the cells) and they are release when the oxygen comes again. so, cells die when there is no oxigen, and also die when the oxygen come again. i'm a med student
