Thanks for putting this clip on, loved it!!;))it's hard to believe that he has been gone two years already!;( he was a great guy/ actor! He will be forever missed!;( RIP!;((
nyspats don´t worry about eatherGlen33. she is jeolous and bitter because she never had a chance to be one of the ex-wives, that is simple and obvious to me. The man was very special and all the women he had probably agree with me. To bad I hadn´t had a chance to see him face to face. At 81 he was still gorgeous, maybe for the world he was old but inside lived that DDG man we were all love with and nothing and no one can ever change that.
I angrily responded to eatherGlen33 on another PR video. I came to the realization though that our responses only encourage her moronic behavior. She's obviously a lonely bitter person looking for attention. I suggest her comments be removed by the owner of the video and the rest of us can just forget that she ever existed.
I think its really sad that people on here and you know who you are comment on his personal life..what difference does that make to anyone except those who are personally involved. Just appreciate the fact that he was a good actor, no one is perfect.. he lived his life just like we live ours.
The man was for sure extremelly seductive gorgeous creature and the world knew it not only him. All PR ex-wives were brilliant women to allow themselves to mingled with a loser. I guess he had something that his ex-wives saw in him that was worth taking a risk and so they did. I believe wife number two had the best part but they all had him in a very special way.
HeatherGlen33 - How do you know he lived off his ex-wives? If he used them, they used him even more. As a matter of fact, half of the women population would love to be used by him, if we had a chance. The man had his money. After Bonanza he did 4 to 5 special guests appearances on tv plus his theater, ten years later Trapper John was offered to him and that turned him into a millionaire for sure and plus the residuous for Bonanza re-runs. What on earth are you talking about?
From me, I love him to..... I hope I meet you in heaven someday. And I will love you forever... Let the wind blow in your hair when you ride into the heaven. For me you were my shining star.. And I will never, never ever forget you. Let the angels watch over you, and protect you in the heaven. For all the times who will come.. I will on earth, look up on the stars, and thinking on you, all the times. I just LOVE you so much. Amazing. Pernell Roberts.. R.I.P. Wonderful man..
@Siouxindian7 Another "goupie." What makes you think he will be in heaven? Geez 4 wives, that he cheated on. He was supported on their money. His first wife Vera, passed away in 2010 also. She was 96 years old. He was 81. He used her money for over 20 years and then went on to wives 2,3,and 4. The last wife Eleanor still lives in Malibu. Roberts was a very seductive man. And he knew it. If you want to mourn a real man..try Gregory Peck. He was the greatest actor and loved one woman
@HeatherGlen33 Heather, I'm sure someone might appreciate your comments, but a memoriam to a man's death doesn't quite seem like the proper place for such disparagement. Perhaps you should simply start your own blog somewhere.
Another beautiful memorial to a most interesting man. RIP Pernell, if there is something out there beyond this life, I hope to run in to you, if for nothing more than to tell you that you made my life a better place. Thank you.
Thank you, Mr. Roberts, for giving us so many wonderful memories of your work, your talent, and your integrity. This world is a better place because you passed this way. We celebrate your life and the accomplishments that you left us as a lasting legacy. Your candle will burn forever in our hearts.
