It is my guess from the way Laura sings that she has undergone formal classical voice training. A singer with her talent would gain the full attention of foreign audiences the moment she lets out her first notes. I always get dismayed when Filipino audiences don't pay attention during a performance. Whether good or bad, every performer deserves some courtesy from his/her audience. The irony here is that the audience remained inattentive despite a beautiful rendition of the song by Lara.
