I got my lovebird from some people who didn't like his screaming, He was 6 years back then, Now after 2 year he's really tam but He likes me more than other people,
But He's so scared of the world D: I tried to buy very many toys for him but he'll only play with a dog's playrope .. ):
Where did you get that window perch? None of my pets are caged during the day, but they go back to their cages on their own at night and close the door.
Oh, thank you! I love DIY projects so I hope my play gym works out well. My alexandrine parakeet and lovebird gang love to play! My rescued budgie doesn't really know what playing is yet, but I'm sure he will soon.
Can't wait for your birdie store! You must be able to ship outside of the USA. *evil eye*
Question, em our lovebirds are having babies for the first time and we don't realyy know what to do but we've done alot of research and stuff. But we out a nesting box in there cage and all of there eggs are in there but the mom doesn't stay in there all the time to keep them warm, like she comes out when I get them fresh water and food. Is that normal? I'm, worried there never gonna hatch this way. Please help me. Thanx! cute vid btw!
Those window perches are so cool! I checked out ebay, myCozyParrot, birdieBotique, and a few other places but cant seem to find anything like them. Mind if I ask, Where did you find those awesome window perches?
Those babies are so adorably cute, by the way.. I love how round their faces are! :-)
how old are they in the video? they are soo cute i cant wait until i get one! im so excited. is their anything i need to know b4 i get one? like what human foods they can eat. sorry for the questions, you look like you take very good care or your lovebirds and i want to do the same to mine! thanks again
Straws in a ball: great idea! (Which I will borrow for our budgie Babi...) As you state, these birds have all the great qualities we look for in parrots: sweet, tame, well socialized, and playfull!
I know! It is hard, but then I realize that the right homes for these babies will be found and then they will receive the love and attention they deserve. Here, we would have to split our attention even more. But, they are really cute, and I have been known to shed a tear when they leave.
Gosh D: This is soo cute<'3
I wish my lovebird was as playfull as them!

Hey Tamara, where did you get the "tray" on top of the cage? I want to make a play gym on top of my birds' cage...can you please give me some ideas?
By the way, how is your e-bird store coming? I read in your website that it's coming in May. ^.^
jammypets 3 years ago
I actually bought that from us! *wink* You can make it out of particle board or something like that. You can also use dowels to make it.
The store is coming along. I have a deadline (bird fair: May 24th), so that is what is pushing me harder!

8 weeks. They act more like a baby human than a pet so treat them as such, and we have a video on what we feed our birds.
