This was brilliant! I thought that you were a Gypsy, you were playing so well.

Basically, would you say that this music style involves a lot of moving up of conventional chords? Such as a conventional C-chord, but moved up 5 and 7 frets upwards?

However, I saw some very unconventional challenging looking chords with very mesmerizing dissonance patterns.

It's all about the strumming and rhythm... The chords are common enough... A6, D6, E7 with minor variations etc etc.... I have been trying to strum and get the rhythm down but it's tough.....

yeah it's minor swing. (E7B means it has a B in the bass, EG# has a G# in the Bass, Bb7F is a Bb7 with the F in the bass an so on, between //'s theres always a 4/4 beat, sorry my english). With these chords you can play a similar version.

Am6 / Am6 / Dm6 / Dm6 /

E7 E7B / E EG# / Am6 / Am6 /

Dm6 / Dm6 / Am6 / Am6 /

E7 / Bb7 Bb7F / Am6 / F7 E7 /

the las line could be replaced by:

E EG# / Bb7 Bb7F / Am6 / F79C E79B

It's just an idea to get near it.
