@Jayyydan Yea, green means you havent been there, so if you look at the map and my map, try get them the same.. Ususally it's a really tiny bit of green you missed so good luck!
hey i still cant find the last location, im starting the game as a different person now to see it that helps. but is it true that the moresby gas station (city) counts as 2 locations. doesnt seem to work for me.
why the hell cant the devs just add a fucking list in the next patch? like have a screen with 1. - 72. with a bunch of ??????????? and have the names of the places you've been to show up, then ppl can say "oh shit i havent found #65" then they can look at an online guide and get the damn achievement??
Before you head to the Prison Island, make sure you have found 56/72 locations first. After you get to 56/72 locations found, head to the Prison Island. The rest of them are located within the Prison. The Prison does NOT count as just one location because there are 16 locations inside. Just be sure to complete all the side quests before you start any main quest to get most of the locations. Location 72/72 will appear once you head toward the Prison rooftop, close to the game's finale.
because I have 56/72 before I went to the prison, but heard you had to have had 57/72 before going to the prison. I spent a day looking for that last location but gave up and headed for the prison. I am currently on 60/72, and hopefully get all the locations

As long as you do every single side quest before any main missions and explore as much of the prison as possible, you will get the achievement. It surprised me because I thought I didn't find all of the locations when I had 56/72 before the prison, but I just wanted to beat the game so I headed to the prison anyway. Once I explored as much as I could and got to the prison rooftop (the finale), I got the achievement.
@XxRaz0rBlad3xX Finally got it today! My last location was Mowens Hut. I dont know how I missed that one since youre required to go on there to get to the Lab. But thank god am I happy I finally got it
If u are having trouble try going to the top right on jungle map as far as poss the in the bottom left there is a village called jungle village with lots of houses and a wooden gate

for anyone that is having trouble with this achievement go to the southwest corner of the city of moresby and check that area first that was where i was missing and a lot of other people got their last spot there 2 its easy to miss as there is no reason to go down there besides to get this achievement i hopes this helps a lot of people cause this achievement is defienetly a bitch and sara underwood is the hottest female in the world YEE!!!!!

i just got this achievement, i had 71 locations found for like 2 weeksbut then i went to the city to the building where the guy gives you the mission to fix the fire hydrants and at the left at the back of the building there was a random location there and i got the trophy, it pissed me off that it was right there.
it says 72/72 on the achievement yet it wont give it to me. last achievement I need and have indeed gone everywhere I possibly could squeeze my way through.

@NWO41508 Trophy is bugged! haha i was playing a second playthrough of my lvl 50 to try to find last spot. was just sitting there duping items in lighthouse and boom out of nowwhere i got it. so just hope you get lucky and randomly it may show up
@dabigboyG the gas station in the city counts twice but if you clock the 2nd time for 72 the achievement glitches and you will have to wait until the blood bath arena dlc

it still shows up as 72/72 places found and my map is exactly like yours. i'm level 50 i've beaten the full play through 2 times and on 3rd in 15th chapter... i have 47/48 achievements and i'm 1 from 1000.. i'm getting extremely pissed because i really want this in my finished games.... gah!!!

I've started the game after the patch was released. Some kinda bug gave me only 14 locations in prison instead of 15. So if you have 71/72 and you're 100% you got everything, travel to prison once more.
My game is being weird... the last progress i saw was 71/72, and i couldn't find the last one. I later checked the achievements, it said i found 72/72, and i still didn't have the achievement. I don't know about you, but 100% sounds complete to me.

@xobangx The abandon house is in the Town, just look at the map and if it's not green on mine, and is on yours go there. If not then you probly already found it.

For anyone playing on the PS3 with 71 out of 72... I was watching this video last night (ironically missed the same location the poster did) when I was fed up with searching. I turned the system off and checked the Dead Island Twitter page. The PS3 update went up that minute and I turned the game back on. As soon as I was spawned, the trophy was unlocked.

Checked once again, had missed 2 places. so had 59/72. Then I decided to go to the prison and finish the game and inside the prison I got my missing pieces. so you will go form 59/72 - 72/72 inside the prison :) So the prison is NOT just only 1 piece :)

Also i heard the reason it wasn't poping up b4 is because the first update unexpectedly set one of the locations from 2 check points to 1, thats why no1 was getting it. And the ppl that didget the trophy, didnt have the update.
Yeh update worked for me, was on 71/72 for ages then i loaded up after the update and "there and back again" poped up when my game was loaded. Also just helped a m8 get his in the spot were this guy in the video says he got his.he was on 70/72 b4 update and he said 71/72 poped up wen he joined my game so deffinatly will work. Thanks heaps to those who fixed it, i got my platinum now.
Installed to latest patch and unlocked the trophy without moving anywhere :) so im guessing if ppl are at 71/72 and have uncovered all maps there must have been some kind of glitch where 1 area didnt register :S hope the new patch unlocks it for other ppl :D

Good video this is the only thing keeping me from platinum-___- I passed the story about 4 times checked areas with friends over and over. I'm think it's in the jungle or the prison, cause I was in the jungle one time. @FrostyKitten0 Well in the Prison you locate the canteen straight away because it's where the last couple guys give you missions and where you buy stuff. If your looking for a place in the Jungle just compare the maps and see what's missing, hope it helps

The GoooRooo is my Tag on XBOX. I am not 100percent certain that is where my location is but Its an area that I still have as green and you have cleared. Cannot get to it though as it seems there is a mountain all around it, Im thinking there is a portal to get in there maybe? Any help in getting me there (even if I dont need the area for an achievement will be greatly appreciated.

@Nickp5954 Yeah if you hold LT ( the button you hold when your about the throw ) then press and hold RT and Triangle ( throw and drop buttin ) and it will throw one and drop one then you end up with 2, and you can repeat the prosess
@JustKiam man I even went on the website and even they aren't to helpful about my situation I sent a picture that showed 72/72 areas found but you know its still locked.

Everyone: If it helps, going to the prison WILL count towards this achievement. I got at least 13-15 locations once I arrived there.

@xobangx The abandon house is in the Town, just look at the map and if it's not green on mine, and is on yours go there. If not then you probly already found it.

@xobangx There was a patch put out last night on PS3. So if that's what you're playing on, try again. You will get the trophy right away.

For anyone playing on the PS3 with 71 out of 72... I was watching this video last night (ironically missed the same location the poster did) when I was fed up with searching. I turned the system off and checked the Dead Island Twitter page. The PS3 update went up that minute and I turned the game back on. As soon as I was spawned, the trophy was unlocked.

Checked once again, had missed 2 places. so had 59/72. Then I decided to go to the prison and finish the game and inside the prison I got my missing pieces. so you will go form 59/72 - 72/72 inside the prison :) So the prison is NOT just only 1 piece :)

Also i heard the reason it wasn't poping up b4 is because the first update unexpectedly set one of the locations from 2 check points to 1, thats why no1 was getting it. And the ppl that didget the trophy, didnt have the update.

Yeh update worked for me, was on 71/72 for ages then i loaded up after the update and "there and back again" poped up when my game was loaded. Also just helped a m8 get his in the spot were this guy in the video says he got his.he was on 70/72 b4 update and he said 71/72 poped up wen he joined my game so deffinatly will work. Thanks heaps to those who fixed it, i got my platinum now.

Installed to latest patch and unlocked the trophy without moving anywhere :) so im guessing if ppl are at 71/72 and have uncovered all maps there must have been some kind of glitch where 1 area didnt register :S hope the new patch unlocks it for other ppl :D

I did, my resort has less green then yours. But I'm not going to let this make me quit. I'll recheck again, and we had the same 71/72. If I find anything I'll post so you guys can find it. I'm also thinking it could of been one of the areas before I updated the game and made it go back to zero.

Good video this is the only thing keeping me from platinum-___- I passed the story about 4 times checked areas with friends over and over. I'm think it's in the jungle or the prison, cause I was in the jungle one time. I found a place where it gave me a point but turned out my game wasn't saving so I had to quit now I don't know where that place was, all I remember it was rocky and some punks where settled there, in the prison I believe it might been the Canteen or the hospital. @FrostyKitten0 Well in the Prison you locate the canteen straight away because it's where the last couple guys give you missions and where you buy stuff. If your looking for a place in the Jungle just compare the maps and see what's missing, hope it helps

Kool how you get 1000 diamonds and when I think about it I've have never Ben to Jason place and it didn't give me there and back I go to alot of places on the jungle were I haven't Ben and it don't count I have brought one of my friends and it didn't give him there and back I think this trophy is glitched ? @Nickp5954 Dude u get champagne mainly in the city and take it to the chick in top right corner of resort map to get diamonds and also i found two spots in the jungle i havent been, 1 was a camp in the mountains and i still didnt get the trophy, its the only 1 i need for platinum aswell, pissing me off this last location bullshit.

Its the only place I havnt been, and i think the update glitched the trophy for that area, it shows up on the map but u cant go in. The GoooRooo is my Tag on XBOX. I am not 100percent certain that is where my location is but Its an area that I still have as green and you have cleared. Cannot get to it though as it seems there is a mountain all around it, Im thinking there is a portal to get in there maybe? Any help in getting me there (even if I dont need the area for an achievement will be greatly appreciated.

@Nickp5954 Yeah if you hold LT ( the button you hold when your about the throw ) then press and hold RT and Triangle ( throw and drop buttin ) and it will throw one and drop one then you end up with 2, and you can repeat the prosess
