I think every little girl (including me, and I'm in my 20s) wishes they were (or could have been) Bindi. I always imagined myself being some kind of jungle princess, because I loved animals. I especially wanted to live with a wolf pack and study them (I still do).

i know she's been working on this show for a long time. before her father's death. he would be proud. i'm glad to see the show finally on the air.

She doesn't pronounce her ending R's as W's. She speaks in her natural Aussie accent, and Australians, like speakers of many British and British-derived dialects, drop or soften their post-vocalic "R" sound. In America, Southerners and New Englanders do the same thing.
BTW, the kid's a real charmer. She has a vivacious, outgoing personality and obviously loves what she's doing.

um, what kid doesn't like animals. i sympathize with her...losing her dad and all. but he was in a dangerous job. he should have considered his family with his career. i don'tt think he would approve of the show: he didn't want to be know as a hero, he refused to have that country-funded funeral. i mean, his family said he wanted to be known as "an ordinary bloke." just because her father is dead doesn't mean she should have her own show. i just don't agree with it.

why do you people get so offended! i didnt mean it like that. i'm saying the limelight is bad for children. child stars don't turn out well. and i worry that without a father figure and the pressure of limelight, she might be corrupted. i have faith in her mother, but just look at the statistics: child stars are a bad idea.

you are mean. even if Steve's alive, Bindi should have her own show! Fighting for animals and helping in conservation doesn't limit anyone to just one tv show. I say, the whole television network should be helping out in animal conservation, awareness and world protection. If you don't care much about the earth, go live in Mars.

i didn't say i didn't care about the earth. don't get so offended. yes, she should fight for conservation. i just don't think a show is the way to do it. she should form an organization and do public campaigns. really interact with kids all around the globe. her message is important, but i don't think a TV show should be all she does. we need people getting out there

i know her mom does a great job on campaigns, you're not the only one watching the news. i'm glad bindi has a show, but she is accomplished not because she has a time slot. her work before should be focused up more. that is true dedication.get a life? i'm not the one cursing someone over a show. guess who i think needs one?

so next time you leave a mean comment, don't jump to conclusions. i am proud that bindi was able to overcome her grief and rather than turn against the animal world for being her dad's downfall, she has become an advocate for animals. she turned negative into positive. THAT is why she is an ideal rolemodel for kids, not because of a TV show or because her dad was the croc hunter.

Haven't you seen her and mom's campaign in US? She appeared almost in all talk shows talking about conservation and animals. get a life.

aren't you a little too crazed over a comment about a kids show. watch the language! don't get all riled up over a harmless comment. it is MY opinion. I'm thinking about Bindi's well-being. "she's eight years old". that is what i am worried about: the constant media affecting her.

She's had her show since BEFORE her dad died. It's not because her dad is dead. Any clips with she and her dad in the studio were all filmed for her Bindi the Jungle Girl show. You can't perform on camera when you're dead! And I would have killed to have my own animal show at 9 and 10 years old. I'd love to have one now!
