  • Seems perfectly reasonable.

Yes, I would celebrate the mother's day of birth.

Candles are celebrating the Celtic religion. But it is fun to show the years with candles and blow them out. Harmless.

The sun calendar is the only one correct: 365.25 days in a year.

He SHOULD shave. Cleanliness issue and neatness and appearance issue.

    Women like clean-shaven men.

  • ohh i hope allah forgives me for celebrating birthdays

  • How many birthfay have yoc celabrate .?hipoix

  • ISLAM IS WRONG! ALLAH DOES NOT EXIST! MUHAMMAD PLAGIARIZED MOST OF THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE & CALLED IT THE QURAN! CHRIST WHO CAME LONG BEFORE MUHAMMAD SAID THE BIBLE IS SEALED & CLOSED & ALL OTHERS ARE FALSE PROPHETS! (MUHAMMAD IS FALSE & EVIL!) • @tigersforchrist Dear friend before you talk about Islam and Christianity, I would suggest you go and learn more about this universal monotheistic religion of God, the religion preached by prophets before Muhammad S.A.W and Jesus('Isa A.S) - Noah, Abraham, David, Solomon & Moses (peace be upon them all).

The greatest commandment since Adam 'til the time of Jesus, and then Muhammad, has always been the same: "...The Lord our God, the Lord is one." (Mark 12:29)

May God guide you to the truth.

  • Jazak Allahu Khair? brother

  • lol. Plucked eyebrows disgust me. What's attractive about them?

  • @ficesdsuarez Please don't say that. Please. I am so sick and tired of people mis judging my religion. Just... please.

  • @ficesdsuarez have you ever read the Qur'an? a hadith book? do that with honesty and sincerity, with a mind clear of bias and misconceptions, then see what you think. And if you still think your religion is better, then so be it. "For you is your religion, and for me is my religion" (Qur'an 109:6)

  • This is a false religion.

  • @Jon30307 shut up.

  • @Jon30307 Please bring your facts, and state your religion, lets debate this topic

  • @bbqze19 False because Islam appropriates and distorts the prophets of the Bible. Mohammed is not mentioned in the Bible, and the Bible is clear the Jesus is the Son of God, and the final revelation. This is Jews and Christians reject Islam with hesitation as a false religion.

  • @Jon30307 in the bible it's not mentioned about Mohammad (pbuoh),but name of jesus(عيسي)(pbuoh) mentioned many times in holy Qu,ran. and bible was clear before and jesus isn't son of god, just it was a miracle birth.and muslims rejact jews and christians,

  • @wahidullahazad Which book was written first? The Christian bible. The Quran was written 600 years later and plagerized many of the Christian and Hewbrew stories, which had nothing to do with the Arabs or Mohammed. You're rejecting something to which you have no rightful claim.

  • @Jon30307 Well, it just proves that the source of all those Messages sent to Moses (pbuh), Jesus (pbuh) and Muhammad (pbuh) is the Only God...

  • @wahidullahazad CRICKEY MATE ! YOU CAN REALLY GO TO TOWN WITH THAT VERSE. AND STILL MAKE IT TO HEAVEN NO WONDER YOU LIKE ISLAM. !!

  • @wahidullahazad

Mohammed is mentioned in the Holy Bible....you just have to read ind interpret it correctly

  • @Jon30307 Oh, I hope your eyes get opened someday. Pease.

  • @Jon30307 Oh, I hope your eyes get opened someday.

  • there is no good man on this earth not even my self .people are like dog shit all people in the right sense are evil and always want thingss for the self you people who speak about god and allan i can be sure you drive a car and as a lot off money and fooling others who are like sponge sucking poison from others and car not see with they own eyes,

  • @dennis18745 wow you do have a male crush on joker..=)

  • allah say dont kill allah dont love money allan say dont fool people, all say help your self ,allan say dont judge no one.

  • Salamaleikum to all, for people who do not want to watch the whole video. Celebrating Birthdays is HARAM because it is not prescribed in the Sunnah or the book of Allah swt. Furthermore the Lunar and Solar calendars differ therefore you are technically then celebrating the wrong day! Also candles on a cake are from other religions, and birthdays i.e Christmas are celebrated in Christianity. LIKE this comment to spread the knowledge. Salamaleikum!

  • Allah SWT knows what's in the hearts of men, most people will live their lives never linking a birthday candle to the worship of fire mentioned...

  • omg if you are not muslim then shut up. this is for people who worship the one god. if you hate islam then dont go to islamic videos! these comments makes me sick!!

  • Islam is so cruel taking away birthdays from children!

  • I have to agree with stylezofom , just because they come from a non islamic origin it doesnt mean when we light a candle and blow it out we're some how doing some sort of worship, it is about your intention at the end of the day.. and secondly one thing I always get from these wahabi type scholars is they always make Islam sound so negative and rigid instead of showing it in a beautiful, logical and reasonable way.. They'll always go for the 'we're forced to do everything' approach which puts p

  • I am a sabbath keeping follower of Christ and I agree with Yusuf. I don't celebrate birthdays, Christmas nor Easter and def not Halloween. But you say, Christmas & Easter are Christain! No. Actually those are based on pagan rituals as the Celtic candles mentioned by Yusuf. We must research the origins of things we do.

  • Please Allah stay out of our business, try saving starving people in Somalia. People dying of floods in Pakistan and people dying of wars in many countries.

Really are that bored that you are concerned of what we do with our friggin eyebrows.

  • I have a question!!!!

Why Islamic people almost always are--> bad people????????

  • @899liatimor That's not true. Most of us are peaceful and quiet. The bad ones always show off more. :)

  • can some one tell the ayah. that is been reciting in the start of the video..?

  • @hilaac89

it is sura Asy-Syura chapter 42 verse 52-53

  • Prime example of the stupidity of religion. Candles on a cake and trimming your eyebrows? Such idiotic and arbitrary rules. How about letting people do what ever they like in their private lifes? I quess that's too much to ask...

Oh well, I have infinitely more respect for the druidic religion, so I won't mind the candles on my cake. It's a pity, though, that the moon has come to be associated with the vilest of the three big religions. The moon is sacred to the Goddess after all.

  • Let's say that A kid wants Celebrate his 14th Birthday , and When he enters his 14 year in the life he wants to Celebrate the first hours of his 14th year just because he hits 14 ( or whatever year ) ? this is stupid , you are Celebrating because you are closer to your grave !

  • hahahahahahahaha

something that's not characteristic of normal appearance of a human being

    I suddenly imagine bigfoot.

  • Well, jehovah's witnesses don't celebrate birthdays and holidays either because of the same reasons.

  • If it's haraam to beautify yourself by plucking your eyebrows, what about wearing make up? Is that also haraam as it also makes one look different/better? o__O

  • @PeaceOutYeahCool

Sister, who are you trying to be beautiful for?

  • @icedudefromZetaR No one lool, I was just wondering if plucking the eyebrows and wearing make up were the same, as they are both used to make one more beautiful...

  • @PeaceOutYeahCool

When you try to look beautiful, you want people to notice it, sister. If the person you are trying to be beautiful for is your husband, or if you simply want to make your sisters jealous (at home), then that is OK. But if you are going to seek the attention of other women's husbands, then that is not OK. Meaning; at home, with family - makeup OK (Not encouraged). Outside, with other men - makeup not OK.

I don't know about plucking eyebrows

  • @PeaceOutYeahCool

actually....wearing make up if its not too thick..its okay...i mean..every girl wants too look pretty rite?

where as plucking eyebrows is like changing Allah's creations...

    get it? ;)

(got this info from a book (: )

  • @NatashaMidnightSky

Ah ok, I get what you mean about eyebrow plucking and makeup being different, thanks =)

  • I alsways thought that celebrating birthdays is for kids only as it's a big deal for them to feel they are "bigger now and no longer little toddler", and of course they like to have their special day with gifts and special attention and warmth and everything..but it's silly for adults to celbrate it...celebrate what??

  • i dont understand why they say to not attract men, because if u wear hijaab the eyebrows are mostly covered, so is it then allowed?

  • how can you blieve omar and osman ,abubakr ,when thay escaped from holy wars and disresdpacted muhammad pbh

please read surrah tahrim ayah 4 and 5 and read sahih moslem and find out what omar said about this ayah

read surrah moaedeh ayad50 to 55

  • but how come zakir naik said birth day is allowed in islam

  • @allhuakbar1 My friend, Zakir Naik said the CONCEPT of Birthday is not haram

But Birthdays are usually haram because of the way people do it i.e candles music etc..

He said he does not know of any Quran verse or sahih hadith prohibiting it. So we should not make it forbidden

however we must be careful in the way we do it.

  • We shouldnt question what Allah has set .

  • @NatashaMidnightSky Actually I think we should so we can testified the Greatness of Allah and makes our Iman stronger than ever.....

  • what a crock - who cares? celebrate what you like

  • 365.25 days, not 365.4.

  • Interesting!

  • abobakr ,omar, osman, ayesheh ,abusofyan, yazid, moaveyeh, sadam hossin, ghadafi ,al saud, mobarak, taleban all are same all lanatollah .

only ALI AMIROLMOMENIN can save this world.

  • @rahimijoon Aodibiilah, why do you insist in committing Shirk?

ONLY ALLAH SWT DO WE SEEK FOR HELP, AND ITS ONLY ALLAH THAT CAN PROVIDE IT.

Ali (ra) is dead, all those other noble sahab are dead. But Allah does not die, he is the everlasting!

seek Allah's help and no other

I respect Ali (ra) and all the other noble sahaab (ra)

Surely our beloved Prophet would not befriend them if they were corrupt like you shia claim.

I am not Sunni, I am not Shia!

    I AM A MUSLIM

    Assalama'alaikum

  • @TheIslamicWarrior Of course...because the Wahabi's are those who against Tawassul....and Sufism..and Spirituality..No doubt.......

  • @TheIslamicWarrior ok, you can be just muslim in Qura'anic matters, but oooh, it just came to Hadith, you gotta pick Bukhari or Kafi? and my brother, i can give you Sahih hadiths from both sects agreeing on some things...then you pick Haq

  • As slaam o alikum, who is the reciter at the begining? jazak Allah khair

  • With all due respect, but he is drawing his own conclusions, and seems to share the same "better be safe than sorry" paradigm with many other muslims. As a muslim, and a human being with the ability to think, I have the right to have my own share of arguments too in anything that there has been no clear cut statement about in the Quran or the Hadith. And I really don't think christians or muslims are buying a cake to "please the candles". People used to worship the sun, is it haram now ?!

  • another proof of religion stiffling ppl freedom

  • I am a Kafir, or more specifically an Atheist. I don't celebrate my birthdays because I feel nobody owes me anything based on the amount of time I have existed so far. I do understand why people like to celebrate birthdays as a milestone, and when you look at it from an Atheist viewpoint it makes a lot of sense that birthdays represent an acknowledgment of how far you have come in your only life.

Just thought I would offer you an alternative perspective.

    All the best.

  • @papersplease

A kaafir is someone who sees the truth, yet rejects it, or conceals it. Are you sure you're a kaafir? Have you seen the truth?

  • @Oo786oO I understand that there are different variants of kafir. After reading into it, I don't think I fall under any of the categories. I cannot claim to know what the truth is, without evidence. I am not against there being a God, just that I have no evidence for the existence.

Thanks for shedding some light of the term "Kafir".

  • @papersplease

No problem dude. Take care. I pray you find The Truth through your reading. Peace

  • who is reciting quran at the begging of the clip ?

he got a nice voice Masha Allah

  • @01Nouf I thought it was Mohammad Jibreel but I'm not sure

or maybe it is Shefik Sadiku but i'm also not sure

I don't think they are him actually but try

  • who is reciting quran at the begging of the clip ?

he got a nice voice masha Allah

  • Candles were used for lighting long before Celtic religion existed. Christmas goes back to Sol Invictus, long before Christ was born. Lunar years have many problems, especially when you want to promise a future date as moon sight can change up to 15 days every year. Surat Al Najim has a clear lingual explanation for how to counter Pagan religious holidays within reasonable boundaries. The real problem here, Sir, is that you studied the religion not the language or philosophy of the Quran. Salam

  • in Islam, we believe that u shouldn't celebrate birthdays because ur supposed to think of it as ur 1 year closer to death instead of being a year older

  • @TweakSaan

And we SHOULDN'T be celebrating the fact that we are a year closer to seeing Allah in the afterlife, inshallah? lol

  • @TigerheartA lol yeah man but its not that, im saying will u be prepared to meet Allah in split second, u could be doing anything and suddenly ur standing before Allah, u never kno how it will be so u gotta keep doing as many good deeds as possible

  • @TweakSaan

I don't worry about dying or meeting Allah. As far as I'm concerned, my records straight. I know what I've done wrong, I've repented for it and I do the best I'm able with what Allah gives me. Thats all you can do. Its not a race and theres no 'point system'. Its not about the number of good deeds, like its some contest or something, its about your intent and your willingness to be kind to your fellow humans. Allah will judge me accordingly. I'm not worried about it.^_^

  • @TigerheartA Hmm,judging by your comments,you should be worried.

  • @SayAllahIsOne

[ Quran 17:84] Say, "Everyone works in accordance with his belief, and your Lord knows best which ones are guided in the right path."

I follow Allah alone by following only what His messenger gave us - the Quran. NOT the reports of his personal opinions hundreds of years later.

[Quran 17:46] We place shields around their minds, to prevent them from understanding it, and deafness in their ears. And when you preach your Lord, using the Quran alone,* they run away in aversion.

  • But I know your type. You think everyone who is not Sunni is condemned to hell.

check out (free-minds)(org) for more information on Quran Alone and the various arguments.

  • @TigerheartA Really not bothered to go on that site to be honest and you sound like a stubborn person who will refuse to accept the truth so we're all wasting our time here.

    May Allah guide you.

  • @TweakSaan

As far as birthdays go, do you really think Allah gives half a crap about that? If it was a sin, it would be in the Quran AND ,aren't there more important things for people to be worrying about than pigeon-holing every little action into the haram or halal category? Its a sin to make something haram that Allah did not specifically state as haram in the Quran.

  • @TigerheartA .. there are al ot of do and don'ts which are cleared by Hadith...

we not only need Quran to guide.. to understand the true message of ALLAH we need to see both Quran and hadith and follow sunnah..

and theres no concept in sunnah to celebrate birthdays,

Mafhoom-e-Hadith: the one who resembles non muslim (a/c to events) are amongst them (i.e., non muslim). and as far as eyebrow pucking is concerned, its cleared in hadith that it is haram. ( increse ur knowledge about fiqh o sunnah)

  • @TweakSaan

Sorry but fuck Yusuf Estes. We're *Muslims*, not Christians. We should be able to think for ourselves instead of hanging on scholars every word about irrelevant crap, as if they're some kind of holy man. Surah 17:36 Allah gave us a brain, I really wish people would use it.

  • @TigerheartA I'm Muslim too!! just incase if u dont kno... nd Yusuf Estes is Christian?

  • @TweakSaan

No, what I'm saying is that we are treating the scholars like the Christians treat their pastors or preachers. As if they are ordained by God, when in FACT they are just like us. Their opinions are not any more important than ours. Allah says in the Quran that he will make its message clear for *all* who wish to learn, not for a select few who devote their lives to it. We are meant to be able to understand it ,with the amazing brains that Allah gave us for that purpose.

  • We don't need people like Yusuf Estes to tell us whether something as trivial as eyebrows and birthdays is right or wrong. We should be able to use the brain Allah gave us and reach a reasonable conclusion for ourselves and our situation. If you blindly follow people like that and just do as your told and never think for yourself, you are WASTING the gift Allah gave us. There is NOTHING unIslamic about birthdays OR eyebrow grooming. Its a matter of CULTURE and personal preference.

  • @TigerheartA what made you belive that we as christian follow our pastor like sheep to the slaughther house ?? no man , we use our brain and the pastor have to deal with that ,in fact muslim are a lot more obdient to its iman that us to our pastor , i don't know about what christian are you talking to talk about , not me of course

  • OMG YUSUF ESTES PRONOUNCED CELTIC LIkE SELTIC!! SHAME!!!

  • Candles (fire) are just used to materialize the number of years on a cake... The fact that druids used to worship fire many centuries ago (as you say) has nothing to do with it, you cook with fire don't you ?

I am sure we can find a cult somewhere worshiping air.... would you stop breathing if we did ?

Your arguments are so weak it is amazing people even listen to what you say...The fact that some muslims seam to think you are "speaking the word" says a lot about their level of education.

  • It's his findings and we should not always rely on anyone's answers because at the end we will be responsible for our own deeds. Saying something HARAM is a BIG responsibility and I must say that any act should not be said HARAM until and unless mentioned in QURAN. See 10:59

  • Yusaf Estes Green is an amazing role model and he has one of the most powerfull voice's Alhamdulillah

  • Comment removed

  • the candles on the cake is not being worship...the birthday is a gift from God..I am not a muslim but I respect all religons...peace to you!!

  • LOL a shocking moment 0:51 xD.

  • So, in the end: it's haram to celebrate birthday? or it's haram to use candles?

  • islam is derived from the QURAN and only the QURAN.. rest is opinions of one cleric or the other..

the QURAN does not touch on either subject so .. in actuality ISLAM does not say a thing about either of these things.. just the mullahs make it an issue becuase they have to create a mountain out of a mole hilll.. sheeeeeeeeesh

  • whose the erector?

  • who is the reciter at the begining

  • @kingbravewisdom i think he is shaikh abdulrahman demashkieh

    watch?v=c6ay5rNa16I

  • whos the recitor

  • Perfect

  • i like when he said who did all g

the work, it was s the mother.

  • @ masterboyn : funny that, you forget to mention "why" he said the candle in his opinion was haraam, because indeed to his opinion that its derived from a different belief therefore its inappropriate. personally, am not sure what to make of candle's precisely on a cake, for one, i think its really just unoriginal if you're not western to just blindly imitate a different culture. However, i would not go as far as what u said and call them "stupid" because they have basis....Salam Alikum.

  • So is brushing one's teeth haram because technically, you are altering what God has given you from birth by making your teeth more whiter and of course we do find people with pretty teeth some sort of attractive?

  • Not funny. The Prothet (s.a.w) used to brush his teeth with a miswak ( a little peice of branch from a certain tree, and you find that recent studies show that a miswak is much more benificial for us that using modern day toothpaste. And the Prophet use to use his miswak when he woke up, and every time he entered his home, you'll find that he brushed his teeth way more than we do. Cleanliness is half of our Faith. Altering is different to CLEANING.

  • @MissCherryBunny Likewise, I can say that it makes a woman more beautiful, because obviously, no man wants a woman with an ugly set of teeth. What about cutting your fingernails? You are altering what God has given you by cutting it off, similar to a beard. What about health drugs if your sick? Obviously its altering your health because the drugs use Chemical reactions to fight bacteria.

  • Again your getting confused with cleanliness and altering. If you look into Islam, you'll see that cutting your nails is ALSO something very important n to not keep them long, and obv. thats because of hygiene reasons. About the medicine, there is a hadith (what the Prohphet said) that states: Allah has sent down the disease and the cure, and for every disease there is a cure. So take medicine but do not use anything haram (unlawful) as medicine. (Reported by Abu-Dawud)

  • To you of course its Hygienic but likewise, I can say that of course plucking the eyebrows is hygienic as well. Also I believe its stated that your allowed to pluck the hair in the middle of the eyebrow (Unibrow) because its not part of the eyebrow. Though, it is still part of the human body and thus it would be altering. Furthermore, the beard of a Jew and a Muslim is no different, you only see the difference in their clothes. In today's culture, shaving one's beard is of course hygienic.

  • Comment removed

  • And as for the beard, the Prophet said: Let your beards be! But they have to keep it neat so it doesnt resemble a Jew's beard (ie. when it divides into 2 when it gets too long).

  • that remark is based on YOUR definition of what you are bcball, its one thing taking care and another showing off. One might say the natural way we were made by Allah is the most beautifull, why enhance and change what we have been blessed with? unless your intention is to receive ATTENTION?

  • Peace

  • beautifying one's self is haram... but wouldnt allah smile upon one taking intricate care of a vessel created by him? wouldnt he bless the idea that one is making his vessel more pleasing to others? i dont bash religions, but in my most humble opinion, i see nothing but oppression in islam. to regulate and abstain is to deny yourself of what you really are.

  • Most hijab-wearing women around here pluck their eyebrows.

  • Oh FFS, combing the hair? Beautifying oneself. Removing a rotten tooth can be seen as beautifying oneself. Applying henna? Beautifying oneself. Whats the difference between removing the hair from your pegs/pits/pubes and your eyebrows? All a load of bollocks. It's a far cry from plucking your bushy eyebrows to inserting silicone into your tits to attract men and earn money. Get a fucking grip.

  • ask your dad

  • ok a christian priest fucked little kids in northen island ha!!! your dad is not p[eaceful because he bashes you all day long!!!!!!1

  • What about this; ans what about that? Read the Qur'an!

  • Wish you have great Day, a great year,

Wish you learn from the mistakes of past year, Wish you hold no regrest, Wish you do things better than the last year, Wish you be closer to your relgion this year,

I wish to wish a lot BUT

I can't cause you are strolling to death or somthing, Or because some people a gazillion years ago did something on this day (nothing related to what i am doing but) cause they did somthing i can't wish you happy birth day...

I am very sorry my friend....

  • There is not a single place, in Holy Quran or Prophet(pbuh)'s hadhees that says celebrating the day of ones birth is haram. But these preachers create reasons to make it haram.

But there is a hadhees that says you have to pluck the hair on your armpit. But these preachers create reasons to make it something unnecessary.

It is amazing how these preachers can twist halal and haram for their own conveniences.

  • But don't you think its kindaa odd to celebrate BD bcz one's age is not decreasing infact he/she is strolling towards his/her death..does not make logic to celebrate that particular occasion.

  • It all depends on your perspective, i mean would you say the same thing about your baby who just turned one year old? Would you take a moment on that day to think about how he has grown and to thank God for making him healthy and celebrate the good things you n your wife as parents did?

Or would you be thinking, "oh shit he is strolling towards death"

  • I think if you are saying thank you to God for another year your child has lived is not wrong but blowing out the candles is haram because it is following the traditions of those who worship other than Allah.

  • then why not just make blowing up candles haram.. without making birthday haram??

  • We thank Allah for every breath we take not every year ...

  • I thank Allah for every breath, every day and every year..

  • @serpensortia01 but theres one thing he could be happy about his birthday that as hes closer to death hes close to meet Allah

i dont mean that death desire is good ,its not good at all its prohibited but true muslims shouldnt be scared of death ..that a true fact and everyone should accept it that they are going to die one day so whats the big deal ..if you are a true muslim you shouldnt be scared :)

  • @serpensortia01 but when bd are celebrated they're not celebrating because ur getting closer to death but the day Allah has given us a life ??

  • @serpensortia01 you must be a very sad person to have such a view. a person is getting closer to his death every day, hour, min, second. that is not what your birthday signifies. we celebrate birthdays because that was the day on which you came into being. we see it as a milestone in your growth as an individual. that is why we celebrate with friends and family.

  • what nonsense. so what if candles came from some pagan Celtic religion. we're not literally worshiping the fire. In that case why don't you ban everything that did not come from Islam or Arabia. Don't speak English, don't use technology, don't drive a car (Use a camel instead), dont wear a shirt and trousers wear only robe with agal gatar. and neither calendar is accurate. Solar is better than lunar. it is only an arbitrary point in time that signifies your coming into being. FU

  • @stylezofom I am very patient to everyone in this world.. i dont pick up quarrel. I am always for peace. Except this muslim people/ I just hate them to the core. Trust me. They r really really the most sickest people on earth. I am in london, I wish i had the power to deport all of them. I love London and u wouldnt believe the problems they cause to this land. They love terrorism and violence, they dont like anything GOOD.ONly evil comes from them.A wicked and Evil generation of people.

  • @ihateterrorist1 im sorry what? you cant judge a whole religion by looking at a bunch of people. terrorism and violence is not part of islam. islam teaches about peace. these terrorist that say; this is part of their religion , to walk around killing and terrorising people -they are absoloutely off track. killing is haraam 'forbidden' in islam. Im a muslim and i absoloutely loathe terroist. they kill innocent people and labelling themselves as muslims is even worse

  • Comment removed

  • If you are a muslim then you cannot remove the hair of the eyebrows because you do this to beautify yourself for others not for your husband.Once you make your eyebrows attractive even for your husband that unless you cover them when you go out you alos show that beauty to other men.

  • When we hear celebrating birth day what are we really celebrating, cheering or being happy about? I cannot express the happiness I felt the day my wife gave birth to a healthy daughter by the grace of the all mighty. I thank god for that. And at each birth day of her (Luna or sola) Im reminded of that day. I feel the happiness I felt that day. I dont celebrate by candle or cake, but I serve a meal and enjoy with friends and family to show how grateful we are and to share our happiness.

  • Man... I celebrate birthdays. My birthdays, my siblings, my friends, even my parents and grandparents birthdays too. Is that ok or is it still wrong? May Allah guide us all.

  • According to the video and what is right; basically it is wrong and it isn't okay to still celebrate your birthday.

May Allah (swt) Guide us to the Straight Path; Ameen.

  • Prophet Mohammad never celebrated his Birthday, He would buy a gift for his mother for giving birth to him that day.

Jesus never celebrated his birthday either, nor did the other prophets PBU...

Instead of wasting 200 dollars on a birthday party, Give that money to someone that doesnt have money to feed his family.

Instead of singing happy birthday to your chilld, Ask him if he at least memerized 1 Hadith?

im a Muslim, but i follow the Sunni, Some Muslims these days just make me sick.

  • may ALLAH(swt0's peace and blessing be on you

  • some muslim make u sick...and u said ur sunni..brother u dont have to talk about other muslims,,just talk about ur openion,,salam my allah bless you..

  • yeah, true. Double agree!

  • thanks for ur opinion. but u dont have to quote 'Some Muslims these days just make me sick'. when u point one finger to others, 10 fingers will point back at u. salam. May ALLAH bless u .

  • i quote "some muslims these days just make me sick." is not good at all islamicly and morally since you should not first of all point fingers and pin point a whole group of people becuase of certain one.

  • Prophet Muhammad's (saw) mother passed away when he was 6 years old.

Are you saying he bought gifts for his mother prior to that?

    Jazakallah khair.

  • It's the same reason why b4 you enter your home or someone else home, you have to say Bismillah, BECAUSE if you dont, the Shaytan enters with you.

Same reason before you eat, if you dont say the word Bismillah the Shaytan thinks hes blessed and and he gets to eat with you, Same reason with your wife, you need to say Bismillah b4 sleeping with you wife, then th shaytan thinks hes blessed and gets to share your wife with you. GET IT ? :D

  • thats freaky man

im gonna use this to remind people to say bismillah

  • Inshallah, when you enter your house; give the Salaams.
