  • If he picked Mike Huckabee as VP, he might've had a chance.

  • PINCHE PENDEJO GUEY

  • McCain gave a beautiful concession speech. If he had this personality during the elections, he might have had a better chance of winning.

  • i agree

  • I voted for John McCain and could not have been more sure of my decision, his speech showed what a true hero and outstanding man he is. Anyone who has an ounce of common sense and researched what the canidates stood for should have realized that McCain was the right decision. Now all that I can do is pray for America that Obama gets out of office soon.

  • I have to say as an outsider looking on to the US election, this was a dignified, superb concession speech. Very moving.

Hopefully Democrats will learn from this example of how to lose an election with some grace.

  • I respect McCain for his humility in accepting defeat but how can he call Obama his friend? Why does he say to help the man? I feel sorta betrayed by Senator McCain.

  • As an American citizen, you should always wish the best for the President. I do not agree with Republican policies, but if McCain had won, I would have hoped that he would lead the country to the best of his ability. I supported Obama in the election, but I would have respected Senator McCain and hoped he would make good decisions for this country. I'm glad Sen. McCain is respectable enough to wish Obama the best, as you should. That you shun Obama before he has taken office is very low.

  • It took humility for McCain &he has my respect4 the speech alone.I hope his words were honest &sincere. He may have lost the election but he has gained a great President.I'm looking forward with hope that we can unite as Americans & do away with the pettiness that we 2 often when it comes down 2 politics. We can do better. The world is watching but more importantly, the children, the future leaders of the world.Let us each do our parts in building&maintaining unity&peace amongst our brethren.

  • *AirGuitars* Omfg We got ourselves a sexxxy president not over the age of 50! I am so glad.

Rock on Mr.President, Rock on 'em HARD!

*Queen playing in background "We Are the Champion"*

  • Sileni: Sexxxy president? WTF, who cares what they look like it matters who they are.John McCain at least doesn't have terrorist friends and hates America like Obama does.Listen to the stuff Obama says about this country, he truly resents the USA.McCain loves his country ,he took 5 years of torture for this country! What can you say Obama has EVER done for this country? Nothing! He has done absolutely nothing! BTW,he is not sexy at all, he looks like curious George, ears and all!

  • Whatever man he is the president of the United States of America. Monkey, muslim sympathisor whatever he still kicked your asses.

Bush or Mcain makes no difference, history was made and Obama will show us what he's made of!

  • Funny though you wanna hate on republicans so bad when the African-American's biggest hero Martin Luther King was a republican himself. I don't know if you're black, but either way you insulted a great American hero: MLK! Shame on you!I wished people would educate themselves just a little b4 they go around saying stupid stuff like that!

  • Great Speech!! Great American!!

  • :22 was my fav part. people started booin obama, and john ceased that noise. he really came across in this speech. i never thought he was so humble. he knows about the crap earlier people did back then. new age, new times, new people, new problems with hopefully new solutions. (in rick james voice) UNITY!!!!!

  • as much as i supported obama, this totally changes my view of mccain. i have so much respect for him after this speech, it is truly amazing

  • He has been like this the whole time... Did you see the add where he congradulated Obama on his nomination from the RNC? McCain is a good man, No a Great man.

  • This speech really shows that we need to seperate a politician's political views from his integrity as a person. There's a reason why John Kerry considered McCain as a potential vp running mate. He is truly one of the most respected and admired politicians of our generation. The fact that we had two candidates with such differing views is a good thing because thats the only way things will change.

  • McCain's speech was really touching, congrats Obama

  • I voted for McCain and this speech made me feel I made the right vote. It would have been hard press to find a canidate in this election who did more and loved our country more then John McCain. Thanks for you class and service to America. You will always have my respect.

  • Does anyone know where I can get a high quality picture of the speech from the back of the audiance like in 2:27 or 3:19?

  • If McCain would've gave speeches like this throughout his campaign I honestly believe he would've won, this speech was full of sincerity and honesty, I was a Obama supporter, but after seeing this video I think I would have voted for McCain, lets just hope America made the right choice (fingers crossed.

  • This was the best speech I heard from McCain. Hopeful, optimistic and sincere. Well done John! After all the negativity from your compaign and the involvement of less than adequate supporters such as "Joe the plumber" and Elizabeth Hasselbeck at your rallies (Using them was a bad decision) ....you have moved back up a few notches in my view.

  • Nothing he could have done would have changed your vote because he has been like this through out... you just weren't watching.

  • I agree, John McCain is an extrordinary patriot and an American hero, i'm proud to have voted for him in this historical election dispite the outcome.

  • I couldn't disagree more. He used to be like this, but during his disgusting campaign he was anything but. If this was the side he showed while campaigning he may have won. I agree that he has a long history of great service, and that he is what republicans frequently talk about and seldom embody: a patriot. This was a fantastic speech, but during his campaign he was unable to put aside petty partisanship and personal attacks. He looks embarrassed by his supporters here, but he made them.

  • Sorry for the late reply, but disagree with you, I was what you would've called one of the undecided voters (I am Hispanic), therefore I watched speeches from both parties, most of McCain speeches he would seem angry specially during the debates, he would sometimes focus more on attacking Obama than trying to address the issues, that last speech I personally believe that It came from his heart rather than a script put together by his campaign, however Sarah Palin HUGE MISTAKE.

  • How can you honestly boo so much at something like this?

  • you know, as much as i hate McCain, this has rejuvenated my respect for him... if he ran again, i might just vote for him...

  • i agree with you (:

  • "and tonight.. i remain her servant."

well said Senator McCain.. you've my respect.

  • Magnifique discours, magnifique orateur, magnifiques USA. Congratulations Americans, You showed the world your greatness.

  • Well Spoken. Everyone should watch this.

  • good speech, cant same the same about some people in the audience

  • dito sa amin walang tumatanggap ng pagkatalo!

  • pretty good speech
