Just a heads up try washing it inside out and letting it air dry, also try washing it on delicate (with your underwear) if you have the setting on your washing machine. If none of that works/is possible try taking it to the dry cleaners

Instead of washing a sweater like this in the machine , hand wash it (or put in hand wash cycle in washing machine/the lowest setting possible) and hang dry instead of putting it in the drier and then you won't have the problem of the embellishments falling off (this is the same process you would do with store-bought clothing with embellishments, the same rules go for DIY embellished pieces) thumps up this post so people can see! :D

@stinkyflo I turn mine inside out and put them into these laundry bags (those made for washing the more fragile garments) and machine wash them. You can also handwash them if you are not as lazy as I was. Lol. If it's sewed well, it should be fine. The pearls won't come off.

@stinkyflo The best answer is to hand wash it but since that's not very practical I would turn it inside out and stick it in a zippered net bag and wash it on delicate. There actually are little bags made out of netting for laundry. It helps keep the stuff inside the bag from getting stuck or being abused to much in the washer. =)

I have a challenge for you, Chriselle:

I am a sophomore in high school, and I have played tennis most of my life. As a result of this, my shoulders and arms are ridiculously disproportionate to my short, Asian stature. How can accentuate the rest of my body while hiding my arms?
