  • The triumph feels racier out of the box, but any of the middleweights respond well to basic upgrades. Suspension, brakes,tires and weight reduction (wheels, pipe,etc.) can alter a bikes performance into a whole new category. Some goofy cheerleading arguments thrown around here.

    In the FUN department the 675 motor is unique for sure!

  • I have a 2002 Daytona 955 and there is nothing out there that sounds or looks better!

    It is not the fastest bike but it will hold its own against any 1000

  • only have a vfr 400!!!!, I had one and it's a fantastic bike, will be nearly as good as the 675 on back roads etc

    Then to the point:

    First of all, the Triumph isn't in the same class as a 4 cil 750. A 4 cil 600 is the right comparison.

  • Second: basing your wiews on how a completely new bike performs in ONE endurance-race is beyond stupid. Try looking up how it did in BSS 2007, or let it's debut in WSS 2008 be the judge eh?

    Third: your very own pb's Nordscliefe laptimes shows it just trailing the WAY more powerful 750 gsxr by less than 4 seconds. That is a fraction of a percent slower..

  • Unfortunatley, the SOUND of a bike does not make me like a bike. This bike blows because it wont last, get killed by the gixxer 750 and burns oil. should i keep going? fuck triumph.

  • You are a retard, and obviously know nothing of the new Triumphs. They are now just as good as the japanese when it comes to how long they last. I also doubt you have ever driven one. I have. And it just blows everything else out of the water.

    I suggest you do some research before you throw out bs like that again.

  • then wat does you make like a bike? going the fastest around the track? the daytona 675 will be at least as fast as yamaha r6, I think that with 1 cilinder less it is fear that the capacity is 75 cc more, in motogp 2 cilinder may have more cc as 4 cilinder .

  • people vary on what types of bikes they like, since the fact that a 675 is a 3 cylinder which is rtaher unique may intrigue some people, i personally like the sound (with a few Ixil cans) and i wouldnt wanna use it to bomb around a track on

  • All I have to say is theres a reason MCN and basically every track rider out there has given the D675 the supersport of the year award, for only every year it has been in production. For a 750cc machine your suzuke is a heavy slow slouch. Although I will give you 1 point for comfort.

  • You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. The GSXR is not comfortable at all! Its a bitch to ride more than half hour on and its a better sportbike than any trumpet, for sure.

    But with Wolf exhaust will sound much much better...

    Arata exhaust will do fine for this bikes to.

  • i live in vancouver and i'm thinking of getting one just for street riding, i've heard mixed reviews for it being used as a street bike(aggressive race style seating, is it more aggressive than other 600cc's?) whats your take on it for the steets

  • i just got the D675 after driving a zx6r across the country. the seating position is far more cramped and "aggressive," as well as the potholes and bumps are felt far more harshly.

    but, i'm glad i switched. the bike pulls more responsively, it's easier to throw around when dodging cars in the city, and the narrow seat makes up for the aggressive posture.

    i can't say i have any interest in going back to a 4cyl. ever!
