  • Either way Iran gets a nuke. We aren't going to do anything to stop it because there's already enough international pressure to punish the shit out of them without going to war.

  • If Obama feels in the slightest way threatened by this 'competition', then he must have done something MASSIVELY wrong.

  • It's funny because America is leftist now (thanks to Obama), which means America will suck every Arabs' cock. This man here lives in the wrong era, Americans like sadly don't exist anymore

  • pff here we go again, how long will it take for the US to attack Iran? And the EU of course gets sucked in with another war while we have no reasons to be there. Thank you America! Here we fuckin go again!

  • Aren't most people - Republican or Democrat - tired of these blue-blood, draftdodgers (Bush, Cheney, Romney) "talking tough" about starting wars for purely political posturing reasons?

To threaten to start a war SOLEY to get elected is so fucking cynical Romney should be thoroughly disgraced. But, since our "liberal media" always treats GOP faux toughness as "serious strength", this asshole - just like Bush/Cheney - gets a free pass for his own gutless, draft-dodging history!

  • @HNK222

If you're a plutocrat in the post-draft age, there really IS no downside to starting wars. 1) You make a fortune on your defense company stocks. 2) You actually get a TAX CUT during wars these days. 3) Running up the national debt isn't a problem as long as they fix it by only cutting programs you never use, and best of all 4) YOUR KIDS don't have to go and fight it. Only the poor bastards who had to pay for college by joining the Army Reserve. Bring back a draft and a war tax!

  • IF OBAMA WINS YOU DIE

    IF I WIN YOU LIVE

WHO WILL YOU VOTE FOR YOU FUCKING MORONS?

  • Gee thanks Mr. Romney. I feel so much safer now. You should have added that you would prevent that by any means necessary - including WWIII, the end of our lavish civilization or even the end of humanity.

Only WE have the wisdom and moral character to wield the ultimate destructive force. Those crazy ass Mullahs would definitely start some serious shit if they had the bomb.

Obama keeping the wars, targeted killings and keeping gitmo going just isn't badass enough. What a wimp

  • So many disgusting people in politics. Cold hearted, greedy and immoral fuckers!

  • The big reveal is that Willard makes money off of his investments in Iran.

  • :11 He has to clarify that he is Mitt Romeny because republicans seem to want to forget about him

  • Yeah? What are you going to do to prevent it, Mittens? BUY Iran, and then LAY OFF all the nuclear scientists?

  • @TrollBuster9090 Look at Iran's behavior during weak presidents: FDR, Carter, Obama. They did whatever they wanted and provoked everyone around them.

During strong presidents: Reagan, W. Bush. They kissed our ass and didn't dare openly challenge us.

But you could be right, if we suck up to them and be mean to big bad Israel, I'm sure they'll be nice to us then.

  • @4PFrog The worst attack on American soil in 50 years, on top of a military quagmire that has destroyed our economy and weakened our position internationally; all during GW's presidency and you call him strong?? and you call FDR, the president that won WWII for us and made us a superpower weak? (BTW Iran was invaded and occupied by Allied forces during WWII, when FDR was president, learn some history)

  • @TZ3k 9/11 couldn't have been prevented. We can stop it from happening again, but we didn't see it coming that's why it hit us so hard.

Yes, I call FDR a weak president that turned a depression into The Great Depression. Without WWII we would have crumbled under his administration. And the continuing of his policies have led to the US becoming a welfare state. And we did invade Iran because they were allied with the Nazis!

Stop looking at history through your crazy Ron-Paul lens.

  • @4PFrog

The stock market crashed in 1929 on Hoover's watch, after a decade of Coolidge-style market deregulation. History repeats itself.

When FDR assumed office in 1933 unemployment was 25%. By the fall of 1941, BEFORE the start of the war, it was down to 10%. Aside from the temporary retraction of recovery in 1936-37 when conservatives convinced him to cut back on New Deal spending, the New Deal worked. As did Glass-Steagall in preventing another crash, until Gramm-Leach repealed it.

  • @4PFrog

1919? Not sure what you mean. The great stock market crash began on Oct. 24 1929 (aka 'Black Thursday') and ended the following week. Unemployment went from 3% in '29 to 25% in '33, all during the Hoover presidency. FDR took office in '33, and by '36 New Deal programs had lowered unemployment from 25% to 17% As I said there was a '37 retraction due to New Deal spending cutbacks.

    u-s-historyDOTcom/pages/h1528DOThtml

By fall '41, BEFORE the war, it was down to 9.66%

  • @TrollBuster9090 You don't know history! The post WWI market crash [correction] from 1919-1921 should have caused a depression but didn't because of wise economic policies based in capitalism. Read the numbers you're quoting: Unemployed(U)/Total Work Force(TF) 1.55M/49.44M - 9.66% - 1929 5.56M/57.53M - 3.14% - 1941 1941 - 1929 TF-57.53M - 49.44M = 8.09M U-5.56M - 1.55M = 4.01M The TF went up by 8M but U went up by 4M. Gov't spending went up and GDP went down. The gov't stifled job creation!
  • The 1921 depression was not caused by a collapse of the financial system, that's a big problem for the Austrian prescription for the current economic downturn. Banks were willing to actually lend money in the 1921 depression, and persons were willing to spend their earnings. Right now we need massive fiscal stimulus to get out of our current mess.

  • @4PFrog

Um...Iran was a puppet of Britain during the Pahlavi Dynasty when FDR was President. As for Obama, his speech to the Turkish Parliament, stating that the U.S. was not an enemy of Islam (basically the same speech Bush gave at home), Iranian youth nearly topled the Islamic Republican govt.

Reagan? Please. Under his watch Hezbollah blew up the Marine compound in Beirut, causing him to cut and run, encouraging more terrorism. He also traded arms for American hostages with Hezbollah.

  • Liar.

  • Sounds like a Corporate Owned Candidate ... Is Romney going to fight Russia as well? Mabe China?

    Romney = obama = romney=obama

  • Am I crazy , or are the conservatives slowly creating support among the people for an invasion in Iran?

War is a great way to deflect the masses from dissatisfaction with the growing inequity at home . Just like religious and emotional subjects deflect from the important stuff like economy and education.

  • @62netty

No doubt about it, except that they're not crazy enough to INVADE Iran. They just want to bomb the crap out of it. Do you remember late in the Bush administration (early fall 2007) they were trying to gin up hysteria over an alleged Iranian nuclear program, and the possibility of air strikes. The military chopped the knees out from under them by leaking an NIE that said Iran was YEARS away from a nuclear weapon. But If they get back into office, I have no doubt what they'll do.

  • who wants to die by this Conspiracy Theorist aka the new r truth vote up to die vote down if u want to live

  • Ah, the beat of the war drums, the bugles sound--unleash the dogs of war!!!!

  • Sounds like a threat to me. If you don't elect him Romney is selling a nuke to iran.

  • Fear much lately? You will with Mit as President! oh ya, Corporations are NOT people Mit!

  • We can all thank the previous GOP administration for it's many years of intense sabre rattling demanding that Iran end its nuclear (nook' ya-lur) program. Thank you, thank you VERY much Dubya, Dick, Condi, Rummie, Wolfie and everyone else who talked up a storm. We can be equally grateful that a serial flip-flopper from Massachusetts has just served notice that he too will be serving up lots of hot air as soon as HE gets elected as prez. What?? Oh, correction -- hot air is blowing as we speak!

  • Signs of desperation coming from thw GOP camp.

  • Kids that's a very small brain in a huge skull...avoid....

  • Wow, here we go again...the fear card.

  • Yeah I am sure the second Romney is elected the Iranians will be clamoring to get rid of their nuclear program. Do the Republicans live in reality???

  • Why is it wrong for Iran to have nuclear weapons but it's ok for Israel (who won't admit to having hundreds of them and won't allow IAEA inspectors to check them)?

It seems to me if I was Iran and all these warmongering countries are threatening to attack I'd want nuclear weapons as a deterrent. North Korea is safe from the bloodthirsty colonists. Why?

  • @badgeless because the Jewish and Evangelical voters are stronger than the Muslim voters.

  • What Romney said is true. BO is creating one new Islamic state after the next, in the mid East. Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, ... with Yemen and Syria to follow, ... and BO wants credit for changing those nations? Hell, I say we give it to him. The peace and love, cut, run, and surrender crowd will still be singing Kum Ba Yah, with all moral superiority, right up until the moment when Islamic fundamentalist nations start dropping nukes.

  • OMG! I'm so scared I'm going to vote for Mitt Romney so that Iran does not nuke us.

  • Iran gets nukes if the Federal Reserve wants them to get nukes.

They'll have nukes (even if they don't have nukes), if that is what the Federal Reserve wants... and it looks like they wants...

  • Obama killed Osama bin Laden and Khaddafi.

Republicans produce promises. Democrats produce results.

  • Hello President Romney.

  • Lets see If I remember right it was Republicans who scoffed at Candidate Obama when he said he would go after Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan. Me thinks republicans are simply fear mongers and usually cowards that would not confront Iran if there actually was a need. They would rather keep doing business with Iran like Cheney did back in the day even when we knew they were a sponsor of State Terrorism. For Me Im just fine on the topic of Iran with Obama re elected

  • When in doubt, appeal to fearmongering and sabrerattling, right, Mittens?

Sadly, Iran having one nuke compared to how many in the hands of the US. Iran is allie to Russia. Russia signed the non-proliferation treaty THIS year...it is to help stop nuclear WEAPONS. Iran will not jeopardize tech advances with Russia for weakminded war!

A vote for Mitt is a vote for his apocalypse.

  • Of course they do.

  • The only sane ones that are not interested in war are Jon Huntsman and Ron Paul. And of those two the only one that represents real "hope and change" is Ron Paul.

  • What's he going to do? Buy Iran, fire some employees, and sell it back?

  • And let the warmongering/fear mongering begin.... dum dum dum.

  • Wow, you have to be a real megalomaniac to think that you can control world affairs like that. Nobody who thinks like that should ever be in charge of the US.

  • India and Pakistan have a nuclear weapon... Pakistan is a muslim country by rule and i very radical.

Israel have it too and it's a far right governement...

The nuclear cannot be used, plain and simple so who cares who has it

  • If you win, Romney, Jesus will die. How's that for fear-mongering, you conservative douche?

  • America gets another bullshit war in the Middle East if the mainstream GOPers win.

  • @whoo689 we already have under Obama, so it's not a GOP exclusive.

  • The reason Iran has become so powerful is that General Monkey Face crippled its strongest opposition in the region. Congratulations on perpetuating the cycle of war GOP

  • Same old fearmongering bullshit.

In 2004, they claimed that if we elected Kerry, "We'll get attacked again."

In 2008, they were a hair away from claiming OBAMA HIMSELF was a terrorist.

    And now, in 2011, THIS.

  • America is fucked if Romney wins.

  • Wow, so they've stopped spinning things in their favor and just started making shit up out of thin air. Stay classy, GOP.

  • How does Mitt propose to prevent the completion of said nuke, without starting another war the U.S. can't afford?

  • Oh shit there it is, Obama wins....what a total idiot.

  • Why wait until after the election Mitt? Why doesn't Iran do it now while he's actually still president? Oh that's right, they've been working on one for years now.

Honestly, these are the same folk screaming about "too much debt" for "welfare programs," yet in the next breath want to launch another costly war some place else.

  • earth to mitt! iran has been working on a nuke for years!

  • ROLMFAO IF WE ELECT YOU OR ANYONE ELSE ON THAT STAGE WE WON'T FREAKING EXIST ASSHOLE

  • If you want countries bombed to shit, vote Mitt!

  • What a load of shit! That is one slimy turd.

  • Finally, someone spells out the Truth with simplicity.

  • @marcryan71 Romney is not being truthful, but he is simplistic.

  • He remind me of a boy running for student body president. "Vote for me, and I'll get rid of the geeks!

The difference is that Mitty thinks god wants him to kill people.

  • you want world war 3? vote romney!

  • @Geo408 Yeah I agree! Lets go into another war! Yeah! :(

  • This stuff used to really piss me off, now I just laugh at how fucking retarded this shit is. I can't believe there are people out there stupid enough to believe this.

  • give us a break you stupid warmonger. We are tired of using our tax money to advance neo con propaganda

  • mitt romney will change his position in about 24 hours !!!

  • @MarkParham Agreed. He's preaching to the choir. When he goes out amongst the sane, he'll change his position again.

  • The last GOP administration delivered Iraq to Iran on a silver platter. We've heard all these ridiculous claims before. How can you tell when a republican candidate is lying? (his lips move).

  • @j0hnwi11iams Same as a democrat canidate except Ron Paul, the only guy that tells it like it is...

  • The warmongering is strong with this one.

  • @wayne388 You're right, he might actually have to do something to get the Nobel Peace Prize!

  • @4PFrog Nobody got a Peace Prize through warmongering.

  • @wayne388 Peace through strength, not empty words.
