For people who need it...to get down to those low tunings, something that may help are Ernie Ball "Not Even Slinky" Strings. My guitar is an epiphone les paul (not built for low tunings) and its in Dropped A# right now, trust me they help A LOT.

Also, during the end of the 1st chorus that goes into the next verse, that little filler riff? You said it's hard to play the 1st fret on the A string, the 3rd on the D, and the 5th on the G? Well there's an easier way, and it's the way Breaking Benjamin plays it. Bar the 8th fret on the low E and A, then the 10th fret on the D and G string (again, think in standard tuning). It's the same chord, but easier to play. Alot of bands use that chord nowadays, and that same chord progression.

So during the verse section, you got the most of the rhythm right, but in the video, you say to play the 7th frets on the G and D string (think in standard tuning for these purposes). Well, those are actually natural harmonics that you play by lightly putting your finger in between the 5th and 6th frets on the A and D string. So you play the open E string (again, think in standard tuning), and then play the D string harmonic, followed by the A string harmonic.
