Haha! Awesome! By the way, it can be in 3/4, it's just that the music doesn't line up with the grid. Well, it does like every four of them. So, for eighth notes, don't skip every other line, skip two. I'm uploading another video soon where the second half of the song does this, Only it's more of a 6/8 feel than 3/4.
Ah yeah! I can do that! Good thinking! Man, tracking on a DS is as much about problem solving and figuring out how to make the best of what you've got (samples, channels and capabilities) as it is about makin' tunes that sound good.
I spent hours and hours picking out samples, and then finding ways to downrez them so they'd fit into the DS's memory without destroying the sound of the instrument too badly. I wound up using less than 1/4 of the memory with the samples used in this song. Finally, I have a pretty decent pocket orchestra!
I know... You told "us" not to ask things... Bug I can't find any Orchestra-Samples on the internet, so... How you get these? Thx
