Guys i'm having trouble with my itouch. When I try to use redsn0w to jailbreak, it wants the firmware choice. I have a 4g ipod touch 64gig with the newest software (4.3.5). Which says that 4.3.5 can use its own firmware or 4.3.4 either one. Yet when i try to use either one, they dont work. I've tried uninstalling winrar and everything and it still cant locate the firmware even though its clear as day on my desktop. Please help :(

Do not upgrade your Iphone or Ipod Touch's firmware. If you use 4.0 to jailbreak with redsn0w, you will have problems with your ipod touch. Cydia will be white. Instead of its color. Trust me i have experienced these problems before.

Do the sane thing that he did to get into dfu mode and iTunes will tell u that it has detected a iPhone in recovery mode. Click ok and then restore. It should go through without any errors. Hope that helped. ;)
