Excellent little rantlet... I face some of the same problems but i live in the suburbs... I rarely take the car to town because there is incresingly less parking and increasingly more congestion in town... I need to get to work fast and home after work fast. If I had to rely on the bus system, a seven minute drive would be a ninety minute commute because all buses go downtown where you have to transfer, and then go to outlying regions instead of between outlying regions...
now i'm rich i've got a gas 1997 mazda---you need to get dissabled and get a sticker----good to see you----anyone who works as a parking inspector is as low as a public prosecuter. How can they do it??
That's 5 years newer than my Toy. If you have a grey Mazda number plate BLK 75Q, then I have a bone to pick with you. That Mazda is on my hitlist to be avegended after the owner put their parking ticket onto my car. The message assumes that I am stupid enough to pick it up and pay their parking ticket. But this is in MY street and I have a resident's sticker. I looked at the fine print to find it was someone else's fine. I might film my revenge. Haha. The bastards!!!
What it comes down to is, do what ever you want and fuck the world, let the next generation worry about the mess we leave them with. thank you Jesus...amen.
When you talk like that Greggy, I wonder If that is your way of telling me that what I said was really fucked up. Hmm Am I showing signs of being selfish and careless? I am quite frustrated really that I depend on a car which is not a hybrid, electric or PC. Who can afford that? If I want to make any money at all, it is usually in places inaccessable to public transport. Mind you, the Corolla is very fuel efficient...
stick with what you can afford l say, there is nothing wrong with a corolla, possibly the best line of car ever made, better that a piece of thit Ford like gallah rides in lol
I've never had a problem with my daggy Corolla. It's fuel effecient and I guess I'm attached to it. So many people are pressuring me to sell it because I live close to the city, but I like my old toy, and I do need it for casual work... Yeah, they call them Fords in case they go backwards...
mechanics are horrible here we paid a lot of money for them to not do anything to it... seriously they were supoest to change the filters etc give it a good service... 2 years later we get it servised again and the guy we took it to said the filters were so old they looked like they were about to rust off
This guy fixed the rear suspension. I didn't notice a problem, but he bounced the car up and down and said that it's not supposed to do that. I just took his word for it...
Thank you. Transport will be one of the big issues in the next NSW elections, apart from Health, Education, Housing, and Energy / Water. Is there anything that the NSW Government does well? Too many fat arses in an ivory tower will cause it to topple over. I sometimes wonder if anyone in power listens to ordinary people.
