Hats off to this band for their talent. You may not like punk but I dare anyone to listen to Strawberries or the Black Album or Phantasmagoria and not realize their talent as musicians. Even more so than the Sex Pistols.

The diversity of the Damned is, well, damn good. Great pop (anything from Strawberries, Grimly Fiendish), punk (as in this video song and their early albums, even progressive (History of the World). How many bands can claim that?

The damned put out a great record Grave disorder in 2000-2001 that was great too along with the black album and strawberries in the early 80s- but MGE is the biz!

Blink 182 is another punk band, but they blend pop into their version of punk. Those bands, while playing punk, play a variant of it. The Vandals, The Descendants and Blink 182 don't make sense in the same grouping with the Damned or the Sex Pistols.
