I don't have something personal with Greece, but I think playing a beautiful game is also an important part of football, that is why I don't like Italy either... @lukon86 Agreed. Greece just got by this tournament part due to beginner's luck. I wouldn't hate Greece so much if they had actually played well against the final 3 teams. Portugal obliterated them. Czech defeated them. France played better than them. It's a shame Portugal didn't win because they were the better team and it was at home.
@SwooshParker I cannot even define what they played... Italy play for the reason of defending, at least it makes some logic... Greece had about 3-4 attacks per game and got one goal... the rest was simply miserable. Their performance remais but the way of playing also counts in my book :)
Moreover, Gheorghe Hagi is one of the best footballers of the century, I don't remember any from Greece. So please do not compare all this with some luck you had in 2004. Most convincing proof: none of the Greek players confirmed at big clubs from Europe

@ Leonidas300he Yes, Raducioiu played a short while at AC Milan and then AS Monaco, then retired in Romania... I think he left football life for good... I don't have something personal with Greece, but I think playing a beautiful game is also an important part of football, that is why I don't like Italy either... It was unfair how they won in 2006 and ruined the retirement of Zidane - my fav player of all times :(

@lukon86 Agreed. Greece just got by this tournament part due to beginner's luck. I wouldn't hate Greece so much if they had actually played well against the final 3 teams. Portugal obliterated them. Czech defeated them. France played better than them. It's a shame Portugal didn't win because they were the better team and it was at home.

@SwooshParker I cannot even define what they played... Italy play for the reason of defending, at least it makes some logic... Greece had about 3-4 attacks per game and got one goal... the rest was simply miserable. Their performance remais but the way of playing also counts in my book :)

Moreover, Gheorghe Hagi is one of the best footballers of the century, I don't remember any from Greece. So please do not compare all this with some luck you had in 2004. Most convincing proof: none of the Greek players confirmed at big clubs from Europe

@lukon86 Luck is winning one match or two.Not a title.This isn't anti-football.Anti-football is fouls,delaying on purpose,not playing defensively.Any team wins when succeeds more goals.When the rival team cannot score against you,then you win fairly...There isn't any "illegal" game.Inter won champions league with more defensive football this year.But it wasn't lucky or unfair.

@Leonidas300he Yes, but history also writes that in 1994 when Greece took 3 heavy beatings, Romania were minutes away from a semi-final with Brazil, having beaten Argentina, the previous world cup finalist... Plus that Romania played some sensational football throughout the tournament.

@lukon86 I don't say that it was a great team. Obviously, not very talented. But OK luck is needed. None will remember Romania back in 1994 but a european cup is part of the history. Hagi was one of my favorites. I still remember the goal vs Argentina (3-2). What a player!

@apolloton1 LOOOL you will never reach the small fingers of Romanian football which has legends such as Gheorghe Hagi or Dobrin... I have accepted it a long time ago, why can't you accept that you had the shittiest football in history? :D Plus you probably cannot even locate Romania on the map, one proud Latin country in Europe... and I can appreciate beautiful football that is why I am supporting France ;) You are pretty brain damaged to like Greek football my friend :D

@lukon86 My friend you're right about one thing only..That greek football is not on a high level compared to what romanian football was once..But now the big clubs in Greece always eliminate the romanian clubs in european competitions.And ofcourse i agree with you that romania produced some brilliant players in the past...But how the fuck can you say that Romania is a latin country????Or how does your language originate from French??you are more related to slavs than Latins...!!:P
