In this case, i mean the section that starts at 4:39.

In the studio version there is a rap. They replace that with a great instrumental section.

yea John Blackwell is the drummer. Old Berklee student. I did a recording session and a show with him when I did a Prince Ensemble show one semester at Berklee. He's at Berklee all the time.
