If you make sure you follow this vid exactly its pretty simple. Just check your gil after all upgrades and placements and make sure it's the same as his then you'll know if you missed anything. I got it on my fiorst try =D Thanks!

Great guide. Another one I tried was absolutely horrible compared to yours. The strategy works perfectly. I think everyone's problem is they're not following exactly which admittedly is pretty hard but you just have to keep pausing.

Think you can re-record this and pause briefly at the beginning of each wave to show the levels of the units? I don't particularly care for what happens in the middle obviously, because if I lose crystals or accidentally use thieves: I'll have to start over anyway. In any case, it'd be greatly appreciated. this game is easy to beat perfectly. Just follow this basic strategy:

1. Design a "kill zone" where most enemies will die (this is where the thief goes)

2. Make sure characters have space around them for crystals, A lvl 7 soldier with 8 crystals is stronger and cheaper than 3 lvl soldiers

3. Make the upgrades necessary only to pass the wave.

I've beaten kthili sands with a score of 20,000+ with only 5 characters

it would be better if you watch one of the 10 minute ones with more detail because it may be only like 6 minutes but u will spend about 15 trying to figure out what the heck he upgraded, than you will likely get confused and lose. Do not waste your time with this one, go to a better one with detail.

Put some damn annotation when you are gonna upgrade during battle, i lost to the last wave, the big fat thing stold 5 chrystal. DAMN IT i thought you were gonna skip it. i just lost 30 mins from patiently positioning like everything on the video D: for nothing.

Not sure why my first message didn't post but if this is a duplicate. What is the reasoning behind placing crystals in area's where no character receives its' bonus? Does energizing the crystal then allow a once pointless dropped crystal to now affect characters closer to it?

actually, i found it to be rather not so trial and error. u just got to position it exactly where he does and it works. Although, I accidentlly lvld up a blm to 5 instead of 4 and didnt lvl the archer(at the end) it still worked pretty good, and I found myself with more gil than he does :)

ok... this Guide does work although you must be extremely patient and look into every second of thig guide to look for what upgrades he does and where exactly he posts his units, it is hard to fully read this Guide but just follow you Gil with his to make sure you brought/upgraded everything. but for some reason at the end after he upgraded all his units to start boss fight i had 250gil anyway i will put my replay up and go through it slowly later in the week

between 3:00-3:05 I noticed you upgraded your archer to level. You don't actually need to upgrade it for that wave (22 if you want to know which one I'm talking about) .. it'll save you 10 coins lol XD ..just if you wanted to know :)

I got it 100%, but it took a couple tries. For those of you having trouble on the last wave, pay close attention to the video. As soon as one of the bosses is defeated you have to level up 2 archers and a mage. Be quick about it, every second counts! (also, I accidently leveled up the bottom right soldier to level 2 instead of the top right. I don't know if that made any difference...)

I just done it now, and goodness its taken me so many days, basically this is a good GUIDE but some of the things are unnecessary, like the yellow crystal in the top right and then enlarged on wave 24. don't do it and save an extra 130. and at the end i used 1 dragoon bottom left fully upgraded is 1500+(3000) = 4500 infrequent but strong damage on those DAMN ESPERS!! The second guy on the 30th wave got through to the end. No idea why he didn't fall, but this is the 3rd vid I've tried today for this Trophy and it's getting tiresome. I'm definitely grateful for the vid in the first place....but after spending 30 minutes making absolutely sure everything was the same as yours and still losing, it kinda sours the whole deal.

I do have to agree with someof these people, the very fact you did this for us is great! But my god it moves so fast, it really needs to be slowed down ALOT! I just wish someone else would do the same with thier replay data, or atleast write a written version of it! gamefaqs has some excelent examples of how a written one can be done! I know I will have problems with this till something better is made. BTW in middle of wave changes are hard to follow when you have poor eyes to begin with!

From the START -

Wave1 - only 1 Solider.

Wave2 - add the 2nd Solider

Wave3 - Upgrade A Solider to Lvl.2

This slight Change will give you an extra 50-150+ Gil by Wave 28!

Remember to Look at the HP of the Next Monster then Add together the Attack Power of both Soliders!

Whether you go HQ or not, though, its hard to see what levels the characters are, so its definitely not a matter of that.

yeah guys this one is really hard if you are going for Good Samaritan but if you follow this video exactly, you will get it. Right before you pause the video to see what he is upgrading, try to see where the cursor quickly shifted to and position your cursor to the exact same coordinate. When all else fails to help you understand what he's upgrading, follow the cursor and look at how much money he has after each action. Also, near the ending waves he starts to upgrade in the middle of a wave.

the trophy information is wrong, you should clear it without losing crystals AND by not using a thief, I got the trophy, I did it on W1 stage, it was hard xD I hope you repost this vid with more information, specially the lvls.. I always messed up at 25+ wave.. but thanks for this vid :D

This video is a bit stupid in my opinion...

I just spent ages trying to follow it and

messed up at wave 26 because I leveled up a wrong mage.

It would be an idea for you to pause the game showing all the levels of each character before you start the wave,

as it's very hard to follow accurately.

And when one wrong move messes everything up i would be nice for it to be a bit clearer.

I'm getting majorly frustrated :(

Well, after seeing someone actually saying it has NOTHING to do with luck....WRONG!!

I did EXACTLY as he did in video, had to pause and study who he upgraded and so on, and it failed. Why?

Bosses at the end. In this video, the last big guy used a long to move, and the horse went first alone and got damaged alot, leaving all units to focus on last boss.

in MY attempt, the horse came WITH the last guy, leaving me no cance of taking him down.

Kinda? It's nearly impossible, but if u pause and scan for the arrow, u can see it. I know he does some crystal boosts at the end also amidst the clusterfuck of units, very hard to see, but yeah i got em.

problem is the pace on the bosses. in this video they move perfect leaving units to focus on one. in my attempts they came togheter, leaving me no chance to take em down,and i even had more units on the board, low lvlv tho.

should have worked...ah well...some french guy did it, gonna try it.

Just because he used this many, doesn't mean you can't. The video is a really good effective way of beating this level and getting the 'chievy. But you can level up your units more and put more out than he did. Don't go exactly just in case. Stick some soldiers at the top for extra damage.
