Woow, really good, I'm 15 and I'm learning this piece because a friend and I will play it by the end of the year at school. Any advice? Loved It, Really!1
Hi! This is a really fun piece. We are still playing it regularly and somewhat quicker now. My advise would be to listen to each other intently and to try and echo what each other is doing. Another thing we try to do is to be a bit quieter when the other person has the melody. Good luck and have fun with it!
OK! Thank you very much, really, this are some really useful tips. Another thing I forgot to ask, and that I supose it depends on each person, but how long did it took you to learn it? sorry if my english is a little bad, I'm from Mexico. Thanks
I worked on this piece with my teacher for a week, and then I began to play it with my duo partner. Perhaps one month more we both had it memorized, and then after that we performed it for the first time for a classical guitar group. The first time we had to begin three times! But now we know it very well and enjoy it very much. We study together as a duo with an excellent teacher, and that helps a lot.
Well after hearing that I'm a little less nervous, I wouldn't had thought you had to start 3 times, but well I can see the results of a real hard work. Great job and I hope to do it like you one day, meanwhile I'll be practicing. Loved Your work, Thanks for helping me out, when I perform it I'll upload the video and will ask your opinion. Again thanks..
Really nice! So many YouTube guitarists are often so stiff, but this shows two guitarists playing freely and having a very good time -- something I like to call "a musical experience." ;-)
And the recorded sound is unusually good for Youtube. Looks like there's just one mic for both guitars. Do you have any advice on getting a good recording for YouTube?
That was really beautiful playing. I loved it.

My favorite part of performing is when you are done and you look at the other performers and you all just smile.

I'm doing this piece for my guitar class too. At 1:44 did you both decide to add that trill or was it already in the music?

Hi!
We added that little trill.
Good luck with your class!

Very very nice, you have great communication between the two of you, and it shows in the music.
Very relaxed, musical and excellent sound from both of you.
Thanks for sharing!

Thank you very much, guitaristdotcom and wazow1, your kindness means a lot to me.
The recording was done at our duo teacher's studio, he has a great set-up. I asked him how to respond to your question, and this is his answer:
"It's an inexpensive ribbon mic (STEREO) made by Pacific Pro Audio in Seattle.
The mic goes into an Apogee Duet which is then fed into an Apple MacPro over firewire. The audio is processed through Apple's Logic Pro software."
I hope this helps!

Exquisite! Have you recorded this using just one microphone? Or do we miss a lot behind the scenes?
