  • Hi! I'm a piano teacher myself - looking on youtube for different ways of presenting lessons to my students to see if there are methods that they might find easier or more interesting than the way that I was taught. Your way of explaining the way around the keyboard is very simple and yet it covers all of the concepts that they need to know. Thankyou!

  • Thanks, dear brother. I love your lessons. GOD BLESS YOU!

  • I'm a drummer that took music theory classes as an elective in college. That's how I figured out how to play the piano. Theory is like a mathemaitical formula for music. Once you learn it in theory you can apply it to any key.

  • what do u call a person who hangs around musicians ,

a drummer ......BAA H , im jus messin . AND THAT comment makes alot of sense! the world thanks you for being smart , take care!

  • thank you

  • Just like going to school for anything else: So you can make a living doing something you love! I went to school for music and I've been playing and teaching guitar for a living ever since. I love my job as a professional musician. Getting an education always gives you an edge, especially in the highly competitive music business.

  • thank you it helps me a lot as a musician,i play guitar i'm actually a singer,so i would like to play the piano also you know!greetings from aruba

  • Masterful teaching, beautiful understanding of music. Thank you! I look forward to the rest of your lessons.

  • I like this guy. He explains things so well. Twice sometimes three times. He is probably one of few "real" music teachers that upload their knowledge for free. Thanks "bassicprincipal" I subscribed.

  • @Aboxatax great

  • Super tutorial for the basic stuff. I didn't quite get the chord part so I'll just skip it for now (I have a music theory book so I will have to read up on scales first).

  • choose another, jesus!
