I always though that Miguel looked like Tom Arnold. And what was with him always there to yell at you for punching out of your aircraft, because like, you'd die if you didn't and stuff.
these games are like "candy" you can't have as a little kid, You can't get'em on the shelf now so we all want them.(though I saved my old EA classics CDs) I am glad people are taking an interest in games I played in college! Origin really did "Create worlds" in those days. this and Privateer(1) you could budget and do extensive missions. Strike commander uses far supierior physics for flight with the F-16 thrust and roll routine.
@Blast009 Yeah since I posted that comment I actually found it, downloaded it, and went through a lot of effort to finally get it running in a DOS emulator thing and I can actually get it playing! The only problem is I don't have a Joystick anymore so I can't maneuver the plane, lol -- who would have guessed I'd need my Logitech Wingman Extreme back
did you leave your afterburners on? That really burns through the fuel.
Also there's that auto-flight feature that let's you skip ahead to the important zones which probably also calculates how much fuel you use up by the time you reach the zone.
Man, that was a flightsim. It was like being Tom Cruise. Please upload some more dogfights! It reminds me of teenage years when I played that game over and over agian.
What a game, what a manual!

@fucheduck You can't get 'em on the shelf now - but luckily they are on MY shelf along with about 200 other 1990's big box games!

The fact you had to go out and get missions, and then deal with the budget was even better! Such an epic game.

@EnonimusTransmission I googled it and found a copy of it. you just have to make sure your computer will be able to play it beforebuying it.
