Oh and, try listening to a full concert they made in the past year (M.Square Garden, for.e.), you will be surprised how the "old and new LP" arguement is invalid :)

@unintendedbear Thats a total subjective opinion, in my hundreds of listens to the catalyst by linkin park i have acknowledged that the song takes a philosophical mindset. The song is matched really well by the two singers, as well as their diverse amount of instruments used. Plus Chester's screaming proves that the song is not completely "electronic" song, but a diverse and an undefined genre.

This is beyond their songs which talked about self suffering. In my opinion they have moved onto the next level, considering A Thousand Suns reminds me of Kid A. Which is a huge accomplishment. You might like the pendulum's version better, but I don't think anyone could have don't done it better than linkin park.

Loved LP up to Minutes to Midnight. Went to see them live. Released The Catalyst. Don't listen to that album. LP are still great musicians, they just made a shit album because they're experimenting. They'll come back with something that's a mix of this more slow buildup style and their old catchy riffs. It'll be awesome.
