helicopters AW-129 Mangusta are Italian, the IFV and the scout helicopter are British, the antiair tank is a German Gepard and the tank is a German Leopard.
Russian KA-27 Helix scout helicopter and T80 Russian Tank, infantry is French
@Communist2012 NATO isn't in Libya, you don't see Turky, Canada, Greece in Libya. It's just some nations from EU that's in Libya looking after their own interests. It'll be more appropriate to say EU in Libya than NATO in Libya, even though we both know it's not true.
@pg955203 Wow, I'm looking at the European Charter and I don't see Arab Emirates anywhere, strange, I know that they were involved in Libya too, I the European Charter also didn't include the US/Canadian B2's and Tomahawks also, It's nice to the Canadians and Yankees trying to save their own arses, well at the end of the day Obama declared the American involvement over and as such it became more a EU mission and as such, an EU victory so I think we'll write the history books on this one.
Wow, the translators are pretty bad man. They meant to have the German Gepard commander say "All is clear." in German, instead they say "Alles klar" which mean's "All right". It's like... well it just reminds me of Kennedy shouting "Ich bin ein Berliner!", "I am a donut!" with that "ein" in there, which means one of something and Berliner being the word for donuet if you put a "of something", "ein" in there.
@DUMBbIATCH1 I hear that anything a French woman would say would still sound sexy even if it wasn't.
If a French girl says "I'll rip out your balls shove em in your mouth and put your eyes where your balls used to be." in French, it would still sound sexy.
@MTTT1234 I think that the Helicopters are Italian, the infantry is French (except for the airdropped infantry, who are Swedish I think), the Artillery (or the Support role in-game) is German (for the most part), and the Armor is British. I think it's really cool how all the units actually talk to each other in their native languages (if you bring the camera close to them and wait for a while, you can hear the units talking to each other or themselves)
@DeloreandudeTommy but its stupid that in the soviet army are all talking russian i mean there was Poland Czech Ukrain and more but all are talking russian
@TaboxPL I think it's perfectly logical, especially since Massive Entertainment wasn't really the biggest company in the world at the time and that they might've had too little funding to find a voice actor to speak Polish, Czech and Ukrainian.
@TaboxPL Agreed, if you ask me, it's a wonder they could afford the several voice actors they used to begin with (they used at least 2 different people for each unit, at least one for the unit saying "Blackhawk flying to that location, sir", and then at least one for the units talking to each other saying things like "Man, what I would do for a burger right now...". They did this for over 50 units total, in 6 languages.). Voice actors are pretty expensive to hire too (unless it's in-house).
@DeloreandudeTommy the armor is german (didn´t you see the iron cross on the tank?), the plane in the end was a german Tornado, and the pilot even says Volltreffer (Bullyeye)
@ExtremelyFlamable100 I didn't have enough room to mention they were also German (some are British and some are German, there's even two separate audio folders for them). Also, the air role does not include the aircraft that drop airstrikes, they're classified as tactical assistance, and can also be a French Mirage 2000 for air-to-air strikes. Also, I can actually speak/read German, but not easily understand German-language audio (without a transcript), but I could understand a GPS in German.
@Realbeatz19 where did you find the "alles klar" speech files in WIC (I have the german verison, but I can't find it anywhere using winSDF) and do they say similar to like "Firenze Auf or Fightenze Auf?" (sorry non german speaker) and wheres the speech mp3 for that too?
@Realbeatz19 when the Gepard said when seeing the scout helicopter, he said something close to like "Fragen Sie Auf" or "Schalten sie ihn aus!", But I can;t find the speech file where they say this? is this cut from the german version?
@Realbeatz19 well I have ALL the voice file for all Sides (US, Russian, NATO) and I can't find it and I have been listening to each one for a week straight, I have the German version of WIC...
can you find it? even though I played it, maybe I installed WIC:SA with WIC, thats why I don't hear it?
@Realbeatz19 Soviet Assault Version two? hmmm, thats the German version? any ways it seems that you heard this exact voice in game right? then it must be in the game! I will find it till I microwave my WIC cd-rom!
@e0o9kii last time i heard them i think they were speaking italian or spanish cause i heard one of the gunship pilots say the word " SI" so either italian or spanish the gunships are italian made so most likely italian.
