@toddrharrison An IMU is an Inertial Measurement Unit. It is used for measuring multiple types of movement. Accelerometers, Gyros, and GPS are a little of what makes up this device. You want wireless because if you want to strap this to the end of a bat and measure forces during a swing, or put it in a RC plane to help direct it Autonomously, you won't want a USB cable strapped to the sensor, and tying you down to a PC. This way you can get the data from a distance.
Brilliant (first?) vid Tim! You did great, and explained all the functions of the UIMU (I call them "ewe-moo") very well, and showed how to get the entire process up and running. I look forward to more of these videos (with you, perhaps?) from SparkFun!
@spokehedz Thanks SpokeHedz, I appreciate the comment. I was hoping to cover a good ammount of information, in a fairly short video. I'm glad you think I got it right.
This is actually not my first video, If you are interested, I was also in a couple of the let's just call them "Prototype" New Product posts.

It would have been nice if you had started with what the heck an IMU is and why I would want a wireless IMU?
