The Wii was a very cool idea. And I think with the Motion Controls, that sparked the idea to Sony and Microsoft for Motion Controls. And they took it to the next level making gamer that much cooler. Which in awesome IMO.

The Wii is simply dry, and has very few redeeming qualities. If you want to play games that has actual storylines, characters with depth, graphics that puts artistry, and detail to the max, interesting plot lines, Wii ain't the best choice at all. Get a PS3 instead. Wii isn't for people who play 24/7.

The wii is a good system but it is dying bcuz of the xbox and ps3. I'm selling my wii 2 get an xbox 360 now but there are some things I'll miss from the wii. The motion controls are gud and super smash bros. is always awesome. It is gud for kids and people who are less hardcore gamers and don't play 2 much. Each has its benefits such as the wii's current price nd game prices and games. The xbox/ps3 is for people who want something more but the wii is for people who like the games/motion controls

The Wii was a very cool idea. And I think with the Motion Controls, that sparked the idea to Sony and Microsoft for Motion Controls. And they took it to the next level making gamer that much cooler. Which in awesome IMO.

i used to love nintendo-but then i bought black ops and that game was too intense for the wii and it broke the disc reader, I AM SEARIOUS, since that i completly lost interest in nintendo, but thought not becuase i loved it back then so i bought a new wii and i can't evan transfer my data to the new wii on an SD card, that pissed me off and i hate the wii now

graphics do matter but there always being upgraded, if you look at a game on the 64 or play station you can tell there old, though they where good at the time, there not good in comparison to modern consoles, game play also matters, if you play a game like ocarina of time, you'll realize how smooth the controls are, or
mario64. there still being talked about and played today because there focus is gameplay

@link5205 exactly, that is why PS3 games will at some time look old and have gameplay that ages poorly unlike the Wii which already does not have the best graphics so they have to make the games fun, so they will last where it matters unlike sony.

Apart from the Wii lacking games with interesting storylines, characters, and plots, the Wii has crappy online gaming, and content, and many games Nintendo makes don't even support online gaming. The Wii is simply dry, and has very few redeeming qualities. If you want to play games that has actual storylines, characters with depth, graphics that puts artistry, and detail to the max, interesting plot lines, Wii ain't the best choice at all. Get a PS3 instead. Wii isn't for people who play 24/7.

Yeah the Wii does suck. Most of the games are just rehashes of old ones. RE4 rehash remember? How about Donkey Kong Country Rehash? Super Mario Galaxy 2 is just basically an improved Galaxy 1. New Super Mario Bros Wii? Rehash. Wii has an unimpressive library lineup, and most of the good games are Nintendo, and most of those are rehashes with no intriguing storylines, or interesting plots. Zelda, and Metriod are cool, but Wii simply doesn't impress with the game selection you can choose from.

What console has the most good games based on ratings? It would be the XBox 360, and it's funny, because the Wii has the most exclusives like Wii Sport, Wii Fit, Jillian Micheals Workout Game, etc. Wiimote didn't revolutionize gaming, innovative yes, but hardly revolutionary. Analog stick was more revolutionary.

Black Ops is a rehash of older Call of Duties. Mortal Kombat 9 is a rehash of older Mortal Kombats. Socom 4 is a rehash of older Socoms. inFAMOUS 2 is a rehash of inFAMOUS. Battlefield 3 is a rehash of previous Battlefields. God of War III is a rehash of all the other God of Wars.

@MileProwersFan nope that's a sequel. a rehash is like when Nintendo puts out a game that has no new storyline, ahem like Mario Galaxy, and Mario Galaxy 2. Uncharted has a deep storyline unlike Mario games. Uncharted is a new franchise, Donkey Kong are 20 years old, along with Mario games, and Zelda. That's all Nintendo has, and that's why people don't like Nintendo. Nintendo rehashes Star Fox 64 for the 3DS, nuff said. Their Virtual Console sucks ass, their online, everything sucks ass.

Besides, Mario games are awesome. I play online on the Wii all the time, I just bought Paper Mario from Virtual Console(Having a blast). Uncharted's an excellent series, but Mario is also great.
I don't know how you guys keep changing the definition of stuff. I heard rehash was gameplay, then graphics, now story...... It's pretty strange why were arguing after years still.
