my fav clip is when Bo and Hope kiss Alice on the cheek and the grin she gives Bo....we all know that Bo was definitely Alice's favorite grandson-in-law. Bo and Mrs. H were always figuring out ways to get Bo and Hope back together. Too bad Alice isn't there to help Bo with psycho Hope now =(

Alice is by far the most precious character on Days of Our Lives (and in daytime in my opinion) she is the ultimate grandmother. I started watching days when I was 8 I'm 27 now and I cried my eyes out during her funeral cause it was like losing my own grandmother. Jenn is right, she is truly the "heart" of the Horton Family and Days of Our Lives.

Wonderful tribute. I hadn't watched DAYS in years, but I was still saddened when Mom told me of Frances Reid's death, the last original cast member. I think it was great that the show didn't fire her like other shows did but would bring her back for holidays if she were well enough.

Give it time guys. Recordings take a whiel to actually air, and keep in mind they just did a story line of Mickey dying. Having Alice dying at the same time kind of diminishes the loss of Mickey. It'll be interesting to see what the writers come up with, but be patient.
