  • Comment removed

  • This is a good version....but you've got to be a poser to think it's better than the original. "The Sweet" sold alot more albums than these guys

  • @jeanya Well it's all opinion, and just because a band has sold more albums doesn't mean that be default you prefer them more.

  • i always wished that i could live through the 80's as a teenager seeing krokus live going to cinema for watching scarface, cobra etc. WHAT THE FUCK ARE THOSE PHYSICIANS FOR WHEN THEY CAN'T INVENT A TIME MACHINE!!!

  • @avrambrankovich be happy with where you are, remember, its like the fiftys and the sixtys....it looks great on tv but in reality its eh... just like now is for you... when everything is compiled and put together it looks so great but in reality when you add the day to day stuff its not.... it was not all concerts and dancing and cool cloths... believe me i lived it... and btw even the eightys cloths that are comeing back really werent worn in the eightys...

  • @avrambrankovich A Physician is a doctor, i think you mean physicist lol

  • @kaboom6899 whateva bitch go suck a dick HAHHAHAHA :D

  • fuck off krokus haters !

    krokus are awesome !

  • Sweet did the original version, this is a cover, a good one

  • @reesesrmypieces hahaha! I tried it,its awesome, should be the way the song goes haha!

  • ok...now have a sit and see ,if you didnt already watch?v=Y8iuYHs7lHA&NR=1Slade alive 71 Singer Noddy Holder

  • I liked this,and Sweet.Both good.:)

  • I SAID ARE YOU READY TO ROCK N' ROLL!!!!!!!

  • @nikkib89 but just remember if it wasnt for the original this wouldnt be here

  • Way better than the original.

  • @10101010011012amen I find nothing Fall Out Boy does to be anything more than pop trash. But that's my own opinion. You can't cover that song without a killer solo. Covering a virtuoso such as Eddie Van Halen is not easy by any stretch of the imagination.

  • @10101010011012amen I feel ya. There are some covers that I think are better than the original, like Quiet Riot's cover of Slade's Cum on Feel the Noize or Lenny Kravitz's cover of The Guess Who's American Woman. But that's just preference, I guess.

  • @soccerprog226 HAHHAHA rIOT DID A GOOD JOB REALLYBUT WHEN IT COMES TO COMPETE WITH NODDY HOLDER...DONT TRY,JUST DAN MCCAFFERTY BEATS HIM....EASILY BY THE WAY.PEOPLE HEAR A HEAVIER VERSION AUTOMATICCly think is better, why?By the way The sweet has a song called ac/dc.before acdc was known...1973.See metallica doing please dont judas me by Nazareth...james pray formthe song end as soon as possible...couse he couldnt handle singing it.its one of the lowest naz's ongs ever LOL

  • @beroth77 What did you just say?

  • @10101010011012amen It all depends on the quality of the band covering. I like most covers Metallica does, personally. But with them, it's more a case of them taking a song and making it their own. Krokus, on the other hand, pretty much stays true to the original.

  • did the girl with the shaved head/ mohawk get famous from this

  • who is speaking in the car, sound like chris von rohr

  • @10101010011012amen And you're a little cocksucker with blue hair. Where abouts in South Sydney are ya?? I'm in Waterloo I drink at the Cauliflower come down and let me smack you around a bit.

I'll be looking out for ya at any bunnies games that I go to. Faggot with blue hair.

I only called you a moron because you said that "it just doesn't work" Krokus Rock Hard and you're a fag with blue hair who puts up his shitty little negative opinions. COME DOWN THE CAULI MATE, COME DOWN, BRING YOUR DAD

  • @10101010011012amen Dont be sorry, you're a moron ;)

  • 157 people hate this cover. Sweet rules!

  • @10101010011012amen I wish the solo in the original was the same as this one, truthfully.

  • @soccerprog226 Now Dan Mccafferty...from Nazareth.Be honest these guys rock or what ...peace

  • @soccerprog226

    /watch?v=Ie-p1CbcFdY&feature=related Dan Mccafferty

  • even for just one song this some of the sick ,wild and spirited guitar i've ever heard..nothing genius but just full on go for it

  • @10101010011012amen Than don't come to the remake.

  • They are fucking great!!!!

  • The are fucking great!!!!

  • the sweet is way better

  • I'm starting a list now...BEST AFRO's in ROCK / METAL:

    4) Ozzy (circa 83'...Bark at the Moon era) LOL!!

    5) Everyone in Twisted Sister!

  • @dpeab11370 wait a sec .. were talking bout big hair huh ?

then jim gillete from nitro schould be counted to :D great list btw \m/ Twisted Forever

  • in the early eighties krokus played 2 concerts in Chile for their annual festival, I was lucky enough to see them on the first night.

  • Better than that Wayne's World version crap!!!

  • This is Swiss Rock 'N' Roll Baby. Switzerland is a great land come to us and enjoy our mountains and the best cheese and chocolate^^

  • @TheBlackAlpha16 You guys definitely have the best cheese and chocolate (and sausages!), but this isn't quite the best version of Ballroom Blitz which I've heard :)

  • @10101010011012amen I think it's not too bad. Granted, the original's a lot better but this isn't awful.

  • I always thought the singer from Krokus sounded a LITTLE like Bon Scott. Bon Scott being the first great singer of ACDC. ACDC being a song by Sweet. Sweet being the original band to do Ballroom Blitz. Idk what my point is either. ;-)

  • muito foda

  • very nice sweet reapeat, gotta luv rock in roll, its locked down, wait ok the girls makeup is not very rocky horror, i think his legs are sweeter

  • very nice sweet reapeat, gotta luv rock in roll, its locked down

  • THEY SAID THERE WAS RICH REWARDS AND GOOD AT THE BEACH WHEN YOU BECOME A ROCK STAR YEARS AGO AND IM A ROCK STAR. ALL I SEE IS POLITICS AND NO WOMEN ON THE BEACH PEOPLE SAYING FUCK YOU. SUCCESS BY NUMBERS DON'T MEAN SHIT KROKUS LIED BUT IT'S BEEN FUN ROCKING WITH THEM. THEY ARE THE BEST LIARS IN TOWN

  • I really don't miss 80's hair :)

  • @10101010011012amen

Even still, the musicianship is amazing. I understand that you would want keep such a awesome song sacred, but this is a great variation too.

  • @LiamSixx i love 80's hair lol, its so think and sexy

  • of course it's not as good as the original but..the vocals are credible even if the guitar is not

  • the original, as played by The Sweet is like a thousand + times better

this version, although moderately good,. doesn't cut it against the original

  • This song is EPIC, it's the original and the best. Not re-made half a billion times by halloween, movies, cartoons, or TV shows. The original Ball Room Blizt

  • 2:53 AC/DC - Baby Please Don't Go solo.

Yep... Pretty AC/DC-like band and singer sounds like Bon Scott.

  • krokus was a crew favorite while operating over el salvador. headhunters baby.

  • This is the "no bullshit" kind of metal we need today.

  • Cool :)

  • U know what stop being such a jerk about them :(

  • No krokus is way better!!!!!!!!!!!

  • krokus singer look like calobos from clash of the titans. ac dc offered his ugly ass the singer spot after bon scott died and he had the nerve to diss them and stayed with this wack ass band. sweet did tis song better

  • No they don't:(

  • krokus suck ass

  • @impellernut why would you come to a vid to say that?

  • Hmmm sounds like he could replaced bon scott with that voice.

  • das si no zite gsi!!!

  • I'm sorry but she's not so good at the song oh you just got served

  • Tia Carrere does it better!

  • krokus is like the best band ever. their version of the ballroom blitz is better than sweet!!!!!!! oh yes!

    RockNRollFilmz

  • @RockNRollFilmz I agree!!! Take care and KEEP ON ROCKIN' ;D

  • @RockNRollFilmz krokus was a joke and they are from switzerland

  • @impellernut Do you have a problem with swiss rock n' roll?? Shut up and go away!

  • @TheBlackAlpha16 yes I do. Swiss rocknroll is an oxymoron, if this is all switzerland can put out as far as music, they would be best to stay neutrall in music as well because this shit sucks

  • @TheBlackAlpha16 yeah u go bro thanks!!!!!!!!!!

  • i cant remember the last time pet a mans snake

  • The Punk cover was the best.

I can't find it on here.

  • 149 people can't understand the power of the BALLROOM BLITZ

  • @BMx4life189 Correction 159

  • krokus is the shit bad ass rock old school

  • \oo/____( '-' )____\oo/

  • I wish music was still about the music

  • K R O K U S krokus know my home address

  • Those were some damn tight pants...

  • ya,ya. ya

  • Better by far than the original.

  • @bacamd Ya, but without Brian Connolly of Sweet, Krokus wouldn't have played it, huh?

  • Original version is better!

  • omg, i forgot about this song lol

  • Essa é a música!

    o/

  • voice sound so weird

  • @what502 No it doesn't...

  • this song makes no sense, but i love it :D

  • badass fuckn song,dumbass video.

  • when music was played with heart!!...i miss it..... :(

  • Alligator hanging from the ceiling?

    What the fuck?

  • glamrock is the shit.the funny thing is when the sweet wrote this song they were like lady gaga back in there day.they were guys that looked like girls.so its not so much diffent today as it was then.

  • Lead singer kind of looks like Stallone

  • @Ishykawa maybe Frank Stallone. nothing like The Sly himself

  • I Love This Kind Of Music!

If I "Hate" Something, I Don't Waste My Time To Watching It!

    ;)

    Good Cover Of A Standard!!

  • @eimantas357 If you "hate" this music then why would you watch/ comment it? Krokus is awesome, especially Chris Von Rohr!

  • That Marc - Lead singer - is so faggish & buddie looking...... But good vocals.

  • i hate that music

  • rap isnt horrible.

listen to where is the love by the black eyed peas

it may be their only good song but its still good.

    or

    dear mama by tupac

  • this is better simply because a man is singing it.

  • krokus thought they were the next beatles.

  • worst remake ever....EVER

  • @smilelikeapickle Not really....go listen to Cheryl Crow butcher Sweet Child O Mine. THAT should have been punishable by a severe beating

  • Yea, WTF...80's produces great metal music...now you got fuckin dumb ass rap...WTF...rap sucks

  • @MrCrimepayz You mean Retards Attempting Poetry?

  • its sad how this band got famous from The Sweets song...Quiet Riot did the same thing with Slades music, and look how they turned out...

  • @UFCfanboy7898 Yeah, look how they turned out, both bands became much bigger than the respective bands they covered. Their record labels made them release these songs as singles (Quiet Riot didn't even want to do "Cum on...", they recorded it in one take just to get it over with), and in both cases these songs definitely weren't their biggest hits. Both these bands got big on their own merits... not off these songs.

You should research a little before commenting negatively

  • @mizzlec1 Didn't Kevin intentionally fuck up the vocals hoping they'd scrap it but the song was used anyway? I thought I'd heard that somewhere

  • @Coasterdude02149 That's exactly right.

  • hey....the original is the best...still like this one.......

  • I love this song, but what the fuck is the video about. I don't get it.

  • Krokus is known for doing remakes of great tunes there new CD has Born To Be Wild

  • The fan boys tried to kill the metal

They failed as they were smashed to ground

  • @TheBloodStaindSteel no one can defeat... THE METAL \m/>o<\m/

  • This song sucks. The instrumental part is great, but the lyrics suck huge donkey balls.

  • the only reason i don't really like this cover is the singing, it's just not a Metal kind of song in that sense IMO, the guitar and drums and bass and whatever sounds good as Metal though, i think so anyway

  • @MattCatt7

Dude, song translates excellently to glam/hair metal. Watchoo talkin' 'bout?

  • que hcimba esa cancion

  • Krokus the fo sho best version of Ballroom Blitz!

  • I love this version. It's as good as the original. Of course it's not the original, but it still rocks. Nice one Krokus

  • guys just cause they wear the make up and shit glam rock/glam metal still got the attitude and the brutal sound

  • this version of the song kinda makes me wanna make a time machine... just so i can go back and bitchslap all these assholes...

  • Comment removed

  • @GuitarPlayer1395 i know its glam rock, i couldnt care less... they just ruined a classic... simple as that.

  • @duperscreen yaeh the orignal is by sweet and there chicks haha

  • @GuitarPlayer1395 There weren't any chicks in Sweet, meng.

  • @GuitarPlayer1395 oh ahaha

  • All the groupies at the beginning of this clip... I would never get that excited for... Krokus? WTF?

For Steely Dan, MAYbe. But not krokus.

  • @DancingSpiderman for steely dan? really lol nice.

  • @MultiDogfight Yep. For Steely Dan, definitely yell scream and throw my undies at Becker & Fagan. And Electric Light Orchestra, MAYbe I'd shout and scream but no undies for Jeff Lynne. BUT FOR KROKUS?!? the entirety of Krokus is not nearly as musically proficient as any one of Steely Dan nor ELO. So, I'd say hello Mr.Krokus, welcome to our town , glad you could play for us. No, Mr.Krokus, I'm wearing my shorts, and I'd like to go home continuing to wear my own shorts, thanks but no thks.

  • these guys rock it, sweet knocks it

  • Krokus Kicks Ass....hell yes!

  • This guy can't hit the notes sweet can

  • 80s fashion....ugghhh!

  • FUCKING AWESOME

    KROKUS ROCKS!

  • yeah, this cover was pretty lame, they tried to pull a Van Halen here, but didn't quite cut it, could have been a rush job ordered by the record company. that does happen, just to finish up an album fast.

  • even krokus would agree

  • sweet sings this classic so much better

  • the girls at the beginning chasing the car reminds me of zombies... Wtf LOL

  • @makemeninja bangable zombies xD

  • Am I the only person who things Marc Storace looks like Little Richard on speed?

  • one of the best covers ever.

  • pero que coño es esta mierda????

  • sweet rules

  • hmmm.....does krokus do lots of covers?

i mean school's out, eat the rich and american woman are not from them rite?

  • good grief I thought Krokus was a hardcore metal band. I never listened to them before. After this fag parade, I sure won't start now.

  • note the small bridge at 2.54 is Angus Youngs Riff from the song "Baby Please Dont Go" by AC/DC. Not surprising conisdering Krokus' love of AC/DC Made evident by the obvious example of "Long Stick Goes Boom" Which any unsuspecting budding AC/DC may mistake for one of their own.

  • Not to bash this version, but the original is way more frantic

  • This version doesn't hold a candle to the orginal, though I do think the video is kinda cool in a cheesy way

  • I like both versions. When I was a kid The Sweets verison was one of my favorite songs, but as a teen I liked the Krokus version too. It's not a competition. Everyone has different taste.

  • i never realized how bad the guitar was on this. How to kill a groove with self-indulgent douchebaggery.

  • " Is Wal Mart opened ( lol ) " ?

  • Gah. I've never heard this version before. I wish I hadn't.

  • I still enjoy Sweet's version more. The original just had more of that sleazy vibe than Krokus wish they had on this cover. The vocals killed it all EXCEPT for the chorus, which is the only reason this song was really accepted. Of course, this is just my opinion. :)

  • Best Version!! the girl in the corner looks like Tia Carera
