I really believe The Bulls should get OJ Mayo or even the Lakers...Obviously the guy is good but you can see there is something he doesnt like about Memphis maybe its the coach, maybe its the management maybe its his teamates...and since Bulls desperately need a PG that can create his own shot they should get him
@lilzack24 Shut up scrub the lakers wont get anyone, and how do the bulls need a point gaurd when they have derrick rose already. Stop talking out your ass.
@KillerBod101 I meant to say a shooting guard obviously because OJ is a shooting guard that was a typo...and The Lakers will/need to get some young explosive player
@lilzack24 i think hes gonna stay in memphis. why would the lakers want oj at this point if they have kobe, who has another 4-5 solid years? the bulls is a little more likely, but if i was oj i wouldn't wanna go there. he'd get the ball like 5 times a game as long as derrick rose is on the floor. the bulls will go for a shooting guard this off season, i just don't think it will be someone of oj's play style. the lakers need a pg lol
@Skeetonmypete Yea the point im making with the Lakers is OJ can maybe play the PG position and be a better playmaker or come off the bench...and for the Bulls i can see him thriving there with D-Rose they can both create shots and he would take some pressure of Deng cuz he is more comfortable being the 3rd option its just my opinion
@lilzack24 your an idiot, he fucked himself. He got in a fight with Tony Allen over money so he got benched then the steroid scandal, he brought it upon himself. In the playoffs he proved he has matured and will most likely get his starting role back.
I wonder if they redid the 2008 NBA draft (Rose was 1, then Beasley, Mayo, Westbrook, Love, Gallinari, Gordon), where OJ Mayo would fall to...would he even make the top 10? Beautiful jumper, good handle and high basketball IQ but don't see the potential to be an elite player. Will have a good but not great NBA career. Nothing worthy of all the hype
i love oj but he is no d rose or anything close he doesnt make anyone around him better n for the people who say mayo isnt a pg they tried that during college n early in his nba career n we all see that didnt work
i will agree he is a superstar and a future all star player i just really dont see anybody in the nba right now that has potential to be the next kobe. kobe just has the smoothest fakes and turn around j's you will ever see
Well, looking at OJ Mayo's crossovers, those kinda reminds me of Allen Iverson. Iverson's crossovers and J's after that was phenomenal. Mayo's moves kinda reminds me of those, but you know, they just look like Iverson's. Not even close to how quick and devastating Iverson's crossovers were.
I disagree. I see a lot of Kobe in his movements and his swagger. ANd he even is willing to guard the other team's best perimeter player as a rookie, something that, you guessed it, KOBE does. Derrick Rose can't do that.
@clutchcity25: good point. that's why i like oj mayo. drose is a beast and has more potential, but is too timid at times. sometimes being overly humble isn't a good thing
@clutchcity25 derrick rose has a different playing style, hes a point, and he can't consistently guard people at the 3 or even 4 spot. oj mayo is a shooting guard that can guard 1 2 3 and usually the 3 is where most of the superstars are (melo, pierce, bron, etc.) and kobe plays round the 3 spot on offense sometimes too. All young rookies at the 2 or even 3 can imitate kobe easier than a point whos size and versatility may differ.
@clutchcity25 becaus Rose is a PG, and has to focus on running the offense. Mayo and Kobe play SG most of the time, and while they also handle the ball a couple of times.

@clutchcity25 derrick rose is a point guard and hes 6'2"...it would be ridiculous for him to guard a much bigger player like a small forward.
