Planting Seedlings With a Tree Planter

Hi, just curious why you are planting those pine so close. In Texas, we plant on a 6 x 6 foot grid, about 500 - 600 per acre. Also, If I understand you correctly, did you say you trimmed the roots of those seedlings in order to plant them more shallow? Thanks, - David
