The reason that there will never be a true Solid Snake sequel to MGS4 is because Solid Snake has reached his time. He only had 6 months to live at the end because of his Advanced-Aging process brought on because he is just a clone. So basically, Rest In Peace Snake.

Take NES and Sega Genesis for example, Sega had better graphics and looked what happened to them. They lost to the NES because it's library of games sucked, in my opinion. Dude, Gears 2 was even too powerful for the 360, full of glitches. Do you really think that 360 could actually run this game? Native 1080p, 50GB, and uncompressed audio? Nope it can't. Gears 2 is nearly the max of the 360, Killzone 2 is 40% of the PS3. PS3 has Uncharted 2, GT5 and GOW3 coming out, those graphics just can't be done on the 360. Metal Gear Solid 4 will receive DLC and the coveted trophy patch. Thats the good news. The bad news is that MGS4 will be released for the Xbox 360 in 2010 with the DLC included.
The main reason MGS4 will never make the jump is due to copyrighted material involved in the game. The content would have to be reworked completely to make it possible for it to exist outside of the PS3. Take the iPod for example; can you imagine Microsoft wanting to have not only their rival MP3 player advertised on their machine, but also working in the functionality of an iPod onto their controller? Not likely.

PS3 wins in graphics, reliability, hardware, longevity, and games. Microsoft only wins in online, sales isn't really a win. PS3 sold as much as the 360 is 2008, you know that? You've never compared PS3 graphics to 360, EVER. You haven't even played a PS3. 360 beats the PS3 in multi-plat graphics because the PS3 is a completely different architecture that the devs weren't used to. They put all the stress on the GPU and ignored the Cell. If you compare Killzone 2 to Gears 2, which wins, huh? Also 360 doesn't have more failures because it was out longer, you idiot. Out of every 360, over a third of them fail. PS3 is much lower. You don't understand anything.

thats not true though. i have the launch model. it still works fine i have 3 friends who has the launch model all works fine. the failure rate on the launch ps3 is on about 10%
and the xbox 360 was released with faulty hardware KNOWN by microsoft but they still released it. the test they did before release had a failure rate of 86% believe it or not. the ps3 is one of the most reliable systems btw please do research before answering back to me

They were discontinued to give way to newer systems and designs, such as the new 80GB and 160GB, now those are gone for the slim. Saying that PS3 has a 100% failure rate is just ludicrous. I think those games are great, the xbox360 is a great console but I like the ps3 better because the ps2 dominated its time, and the old xbox sucked ass so why should I change console when sony takes so much care of me?

Alrighty, I'm definitely not claiming facts here. I highly doubt that Killzone 2 was 85% of the PS3, I would like a link for the numbers here. Now I just heard 40% somewhere, along with the Gears 2 one, don't count on it. MGS4 can't fit on a DVD, sorry, it would have many disks. Another thing is that PS3 runs MGS4 at native 1080p, 360 would cut it to 720p. Along with the uncompressed audio on the blu-ray. It would clearly not run smoother. How can I not accept it? Its not like the 360 porting it

The new MGS that hinted as Raiden to be a main character is a new 360 exclusive starring Raiden. Kinda pisses me off since I thought this new game was coming to PS3. But still, now 360 shares a MGS title that might be great. More reason for me to have both systems. You heard it from me first people.

Metal Gear Solid 4 will receive DLC and the coveted trophy patch. Thats the good news. The bad news is that MGS4 will be released for the Xbox 360 in 2010 with the DLC included.

The main reason MGS4 will never make the jump is due to copyrighted material involved in the game. The content would have to be reworked completely to make it possible for it to exist outside of the PS3. Take the iPod for example; can you imagine Microsoft wanting to have not only their rival MP3 player advertised on their machine, but also working in the functionality of an iPod onto their controller? Not likely.
